This is a small, busy and friendly place. Lots of locals and tourists. Excellent burgers and huge list of home made pies. Highly recommend.

What a great stop! The menu was large and varied! The burgers were delicious and service was perfect. Spending the night in Dubois and will definitely stop in for breakfast too!

I came into the Cowboy Cafe while my husband Ryan was working close by on a work trip. I was greeted with a smile. They definitely have lots of locals but also tons of people coming through on snowmobiles. My server was amazing. She kept everything clean, checked on everyone constantly, while alarms grabbing and serving the food keeping things clean checking on people etc etc and did it while making people laugh and smile. I ordered this delicious breakfast with home made biscuits that were heavenly! The eggs hashbrowns and maple sausages cooked to perfection! Ryan came in to get a bite with me before we headed back to Denver! He was also greeted and got him some breakfast as well he got an omelette which he also enjoyed! We went to pay and during that moment a person came into this tiny adorable diner and casually said "we have 24 people " . I looked at the server and she smiled and said I'm gonna pretend to not be overwhelmed by that lol we all laughed smiled and she handled that situation like such a champ. Ryan and I scurried out. So note to large groups if you have well over 20 people you should totally call ahead especially if you plan on going into a little diner in a small town. But I was so impressed with how they handled it with a smile and a laugh and took care of everyone as we headed out. Go check out cowboy cafe ... and don't do what I did I forgot to get some pie to go... I heard great things about the pie. I may come back just for that alone! :)

Split Pea & Pork Belly Soup. Amazing. Well seasoned.

Soup was 10/10. Split Pea Soup with Pork Belly. Would get again. Perfect if you're missing some home cookin'.

The young girl clearing out tables was very sweet but the waitress was less than friendly. However, the food was fantastic. I had their new homemade red wine sangria which was very good. My daughters split the lemon and strawberry French toast and I had their burger with the fried cheese curds. My husband had their Ruben sandwich. Their fries were also delicious. There wasn't a bite left over. If you're ever driving by, I highly recommend checking this diner out.

While visiting Grand Tetons NP we wanted to try some good eats in the area. We were in Dubois visiting the National Military Vehicles Museum (great place and huge) and looking at the great reviews picked this place. It's a very small place but we got a table immediately since it was early. Ordered the bison steak and burger. Both were really good. The burger was my favorite. Very tender and juicy. Of course we had to get some of their homemade pies. They were also huge and delicious. Service was good. A little short handed so I felt it could've been more attention to guests. But over all we would come back again if ever in the area. Sat next to some fisherman and had great conversation with them which made the experience priceless.

Very popular location. We showed up right at lunch rush on a Sunday, and the place was packed. We still only had to wait about 10 minutes before seating. FOOD: Well done burgers and sandwiches. Great pie! SERVICE: Prompt, if a bit rushed. ATMOSPHERE: Sitting at tables, lots of bottles and shakers and utensil bags and creamer bowls taking up a lot of space. The room is ... homey and rustic, to be polite, though there's a lot of space for swag you can buy. A lot of flies.

    Coffee! Yay!

We were on our way to Moran Wyoming and desperately needed coffee and something to eat. I found the Cowboy Cafe on Yelp and we weren't disappointed. The little place was packed and Molly welcomed us and brought us coffee. Dave and I had the Sheridan Palace Omelettes with Green Chili. Dave had Elk Sausage in his and I had Ham. They were plentiful with hash browns and toast. A respite along a mostly empty highway! Thank you Molly and crew! Now onward and upward into the snow!

What a PERFECT stop for dinner on our roadtrip to Grand Teton National Park! C.C. had something for everything - sandwiches, burgers, salads and our #1 tip: you HAVE to try the homemade pie!!! *KIDS* -- Our three kids didn't need a full adult meal - they had great $6 and $7 options with single or double corn dogs and fries, chicken tenders, etc. They're not marked as kids meals, but they're listed under the "Sandwiches & More". *HEALTHY FOOD LOVERS* -- check out their salads! Grilled peaches (reliably delicious since they grill them from frozen) and heirloom tomatoes with burrata (Burrata is an Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream, and is sometimes called "cream filled mozzarella"), pesto and balsamic glaze on a bed of sprouts and spring mix greens. (Olives on the side please...) WHAT a find! Loved it! Let's talk PIES! Just a few of their flavors (they had run out of other flavors earlier in the day): - strawberry rhubarb - raspberry rhubarb - peach raspberry - strawberry blueberry - Nutella pecan - apple - peach - pecan - white chocolate blueberry cheesecake - turtle cheesecake Do you see what I mean????? Try the pie!! Btw - service was AWESOME. Helpful, kind, understanding to our requests, etc. If we're driving through again, we'll be back!!

Purchased a coffee mug because I really enjoyed this restaurant

We stopped for breakfast on our last day in Grand Teton before driving down to Salt Lake City, and I'm glad we weren't in a rush, since the whole experience took a lot longer than expected. We arrived on a Sunday morning a little after 10, but was told that because they were running behind in the kitchen, it would be a while before they could seat us. We waited for maybe 15 minutes to get seated, and then another 15 minutes until we were even given menus. I went with the Rustler's Round Up ($11), which is a breakfast platter that comes with two eggs any style, hash browns, bacon/sausage, and biscuit with gravy. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get our food, but everything was done extremely well. The hash browns, which were actually just tater tots, were crispy on the outside, the sausage was plump and juicy, the eggs were scrambled just right without being overcooked, and the biscuit and gravy were extremely satisfying. My friends and I all really enjoyed our food. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for good food in the area who isn't in a rush.
