I stayed a few nights at the Lodge since the hotels were all booked up in Jackson Hole and it turns out that it was my great fortune! My stay was fine with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and high speed internet available. The hidden gem is definitely the Red Fox Saloon. The menu is limited, but totally fine given the challenge of the logistics to get supplies delivered up the mountain on a regular basis. Today, I was in the mood for a nice salad and big bowl of chili. Goodness, I was in luck! The salad was super sized with plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and other garden goodies! The chili was giant hot bowl filled with beans and a combination of bison and elk meat. I definitely tasted the elk, but if you fear enjoy meat other than beef, do not worry. It is a hot bowl of pure yumminess!

I asked the hostess if they was only server and then she found our server. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our drinks sat up on the counter of the bar for 8-10 minutes. I finally went and grabbed the drinks myself. One minute later the food came too. The food was cold. Fries were stale and bland. We got a Cesar salad which had the non fresh bad part of the romaine lettuce. The trout tacos tasted ok and the fish was fresh (thankfully, we were scared). When I asked for the bill, that was brought and processed immediately but I wasn't given the itemized statement. So I had to go back to the hostess as we rarely saw our server. Overall, would not recommend unless you're just coming for drinks. Unfortunately, not many options in this area.

How can you go wrong with ranch-style "almost entirely homemade" comfort food? I guess you could,…read morebut this place has it dialed. They truly care, and it shows in the food preparation and taste. We decided to give the ranch-promise a test and jumped for the $29 16oz grilled ribeye. Cooked mid-rare, it was deliciously tender and well seasoned. The cut of meat was the star of the show, not to be overpowered by any seasoning or sauce. Perfect! The Brussels sprouts were tender and slightly charred (my favorite), and the fresh mashed potatoes and brown gravy were home style comfort food by definition. It is a LOT of food, so feel free to share (would be like 2 6 oz steaks if you choose not to chew the fat). Very happy to have had this before a week of freeze dried and camp-prepared food while we backpack in the Wind River range nearby!

She asked for drink order and brought those to the table. She asked if we were ready to order. My husband said he needed a minute. She took one step back from the table and stood there holding her pen and order pad. Awkward. We placed our order, and the waitress disappeared. She returned later to bring our food and disappeared again. The food was not great. Potatoes were undercooked and biscuits were hard even covered in gravy. However, the cook was the best part of the visit. He was very friendly. The waitress showed up briefly to drop off our bill, and you guessed it...disappeared. When the cook came to collect our plates, I asked of he could check is out. He said sure and went to fi d the waitress. When she brought our change to the table, I immediately realized the change wasn't right. Hubby gave her a fifty to cover a tab of $33.31. She brought back change in the amount of $11.69. Hubby was about to put it in his wallet when I saw what she gave him. I told him that it was short by $5. I called her over and told her it was wrong. She smiled and went to get a five out of the register. Thank you, Stephanie G. for getting our stay at the property off to a good start.

They can deliver to your room, but be advised they it comes with a 20% room service charge. Food- 5 stars Everything was pretty good for the standard American restaurant at the lodge. I particularly liked the corn crusted red trout for dinner and the cowboy omelette for breakfast. Produce tasted fresh and their green smoothie was pretty good as well Service- 5 stars Food came out quickly and the servers and bartenders were really attentive. They were even able to drop off food in our room when we were doing some sunrise tours at Grand Teton NP (just to make sure we used our breakfast credit) Bottom Line Standard American hotel restaurant that offers up pretty good food and service.

The atmosphere hits that perfect Jackson vibe with a modern Western, warm lighting, rustic wood accents, and a fun energy vibe without feeling chaotic. It's the kind of place that works just as well for après-ski drinks as it does for a full sit-down dinner. The menu has something for everyone: elevated comfort food, solid steaks, fresh fish, and great shareable starters. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-executed. The cocktails were creative (and strong in a good way), and the wine list was thoughtfully curated. Service was friendly and efficient even when it was busy, which says a lot during peak ski season. You can tell they're used to handling the resort crowd without sacrificing quality. Whether you're wrapping up a long ski day or just want a fun, reliable dinner spot in Teton Village, Spur delivers. Great food, great vibe, and right where you want to be. Definitely a repeat stop. It was the perfect ending to a perfect trip and stay in Jackson Hole.
