A hearty greeting as you enter and approach the counter, coupled with follow up questions about your experience at your table. He cleaned the entire front glass door and surrounding windows of all fingerprints meticulously. I watched him go back a time or two to make sure it was the best clean entry possible. Cowboy chicken has been good every time I have ordered and I enjoy their side salad and twice bakes casserole. Cowboy chicken is the best. When I lived in Dallas the one on Greenville was very close and I could pick up my order on the way home from running errands. I live in McKinney now and the closest one is in Frisco on the west side of the tollway, 11 miles from me, but my chiropractor is in Frisco so after getting an adjustment I stopped and picked up a quarter chicken and a side of brisket to bring home. I've been on the carnivore diet for 8 months and it has been life changing for my health, but finding someplace to just pick up a quick meal is not always easy. So this was ideal. The chicken was good as always. I had never had their brisket but it was good as well. Good smoky flavor and very moist. I know most people try to avoid the fats, but on carnivore fats are good and my lower blood pressure is a testimony to that. Unfortunately many of the BBQ places charge extra for the "moist" fatty parts of the brisket, which I think has more flavor along with being more satiating. The staff was kind and helpful. I use a walker and one of the young men followed me to the front door and opened it for me. Kindness is always appreciated especially when they go out of their way to be helpful. I had difficulty with the CC app so I had to order from Door Dash. My order arrived and was missing the brisket that I was very excited to try because I didn't know they offered it. I called and spoke with Garrett and he explained that since it was a DD order he couldn't issue the refund. While I understand that, I wasn't thrilled about chasing my refund down and Garrett made a tricky situation a great one. He arranged for the Cowboy Chicken delivery driver to bring the missing part to my house. I greatly appreciated him making this right as I have company from out of town. I called the restaurant and was told I would have to come back up there and get the missing food even though we are 25 minutes away. They white meat chicken meal that we got was cold.
