I had rib eye steak with sweet potatoes and my friend had New York Steak with French fries. We shared chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Waiter and managers were very attentive and somehow I felt like it was too much. They would come by every 5-7 minutes and asked if everything was ok. Then I realized there were 4-5 families on waiting list. My Ribeye was EXTREMELY SALTY! So my friend gave me his New York Steak. The MOST salty steak I EVER had in my LIFE! We shared house salad (it's extra $5.99) I believe. It was very very tiny potion with highly dressing on top. Chocolate cake was very dense and overly sweet with overly sweet vanilla ice cream. In conclusion; I think I will go back if there were 50% less salt and if staffs can give us a little some space. The ambiance was nice and warm. read more

While eating them, I inquired if they use cinnamon as I could taste sweetness. The server informed me they do not, but that I may have gotten sweet n sour pickles by mistake as it has happened before. Even though she knew that I was inquiring about it, she never offered new ones or took them back to get me new ones. My sirloin was more medium well than it was medium. There was a ton of seasoning on it, almost to the point where it was overpowering. The steak itself was dried out. The mash potatoes tasted as if they had taken the entire jar and put salt in the entire batch. These complaints were noted throughout the meal, and there was no offer to make it right. I made a reservation for a Saturday night, which I'm glad I did because there was a long wait. We were seated right away and our server came right to our table. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Despite it being so busy, it was still easy to talk and it was a comfortable environment. We ordered the fried mushrooms for an appetizer, which came out hot and crispy. For our entrees, I ordered salmon with crab on top and my friend ordered a steak. My favorite dish was the side of Brussels sprouts. They were crunchy, sweet, salty and delicious! The Mac and cheese was also good and it had a smokey flavor. Rihanna was our waitress, she was friendly, attentive and thorough. We were very impressed with her memorizing our order and getting everything as requested. We dined on steaks, ribs and shrimp. Visited this place this weekend on a rainy day. It has a cozy ambience and the service was great from beginning to end. The kids menu has great variety! One of my kids had the ribs and the other one had the sirloin. Both great options and both kiddos approved. My oldest went with a 10 oz sirloin, topped with mushrooms and side of smoked Mac n cheese. I went with an 8z sirloin and baked potato, both yummy. My husband had a t-bone and he said it was awesome. Everything was perfectly cooked too! No issues with our different styles. Elisa was a wonderful server. We were greeted and sat very fast. Our server had a large party and the staff sent a young man over for our drink order before Elisa could get to us. Drinks were delivered and we were ready to order, except they were already out of prime rib- super sad, but we pivoted to a wonderful cut of steak. Medium rare- cooked and seasoned perfectly with a pile of mashed potatoes and a cesar side salad. The dining room is spacious, filled with cowboy, steakhouse decor. Dimly lit, super busy- but tables are spaced out enough that it wasn't too loud, surprisingly. My old fashioned hit the table with no cherries, to my dismay- but Elisa caught my quizical look and brought me a garnish of 5 boozey cherries- yaaasss! John had a very strong rum and coke with his dinner. We split this meal. When traveling, it makes more sense if we can share a plate to avoid leftovers. We cleaned the plate. We tried this restaurant out recently and had a good experience. My wife got the ribs. They were just a bit more fatty than she has as a preference, but they were good. I had the chicken fried steak and it was good as well. My wife and I both added salads to the meal and these were especially good and fresh. We had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. I recommend reservations. Our appetizer came quickly. Fried mushrooms. Warning there are a lot! Next time I come I will bring another couple. We are from out of town and went to salt grass to celebrate a graduation. There were 12 of us. Our waiter was Eddy who was absolutely wonderful but the entire staff made our experience the best we have anywhere. They called and asked what we were celebrating and said they'd like to do something we arrived to balloons and a basket of treats. Great spot in the disney area especially being from NJ we know our food spots. We have been before last year and the queso was so memorable we made sure to come back. Our server Jamie was a doll and very attentive. Honestly, all of the servers constantly checked in on our party. I got the signature steak and shrimp with broccoli- everything was juicy and flavorful. We ordered two brisket queso and they were demolished. Amazing to find a great steak house that is a step above, as far as service, restaurant cleanliness, atmosphere and food quality. We are local and my husband and I both found the food top quality. Steak was cooked to perfection, as ordered. The sides are amazing. We would say an added touch that may have been missing is salt on the baked potato skin. I was however, very pleased with the loaded baked potato. Cheese was melted and the potato was very hot and moist. It was nice to be in a restaurant that had a non- rushed atmosphere and where you could actually have a true family style meal. We definitely will return. I know racism and evil exist, but until now I had never personally experienced something that left me questioning whether I was being treated differently. On July 11, I dined at Saltgrass Steak House in Orlando, Florida, with a party of six. I ordered the Salmon Oscar with a house salad. When our server, Sammie, brought the food to the table, I immediately noticed that the topping on my salmon did not look like the lump crab meat that was advertised. Instead, it appeared to be covered in a creamy white sauce with no visible lump crab meat. Before the plate was ever placed in front of me, I told Sammie that I did not want the meal. She immediately returned it to the kitchen. A woman, who I later learned was the General Manager, Amy, came to the table and asked what was wrong with the food. I politely explained that I did not like the amount of white sauce covering the salmon and that it was not what I expected. She asked if I wanted something else, and I ordered fried shrimp instead, which was delicious. When it was time to pay, I noticed I had been charged more than half the price for the Salmon Oscar--a meal I never accepted, never touched, and never ate. I asked Sammie about the charge, and she sent Amy back to our table. Amy explained that she had personally decided to charge me anyway. I then asked for the owner's contact information. Amy responded that the owner was in Italy and "didn't have time to deal with me or the situation." I found that response unprofessional, dismissive, and unnecessary. Whether her behavior was motivated by bias, I cannot say for certain. What I do know is that I felt disrespected as a paying customer. Throughout the entire interaction, I remained calm, respectful, and composed. I paid my bill without creating a scene. Our party had planned to leave Sammie an $80 tip. However, after the way the situation was handled by management, we collectively decided not to leave the tip. Just as Amy made a personal decision to charge me for food I never accepted, we made a personal decision to keep our tip. Customer service is about more than serving food--it's about treating people with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. read more

We are not usually fans of chain restaurants but I would have to highly recommend this restaurant. They fall under the Landry's family of restaurants. The outside is very steakhouse vibe. The interior is a matching decor with plenty of seating and a separate bar area. We did reservations for 5pm, probably didn't need at this time. Given the traffic in Orlando I would recommend reservations if going during prime dinner hours. We are started off with fried mushrooms and fried onions, both of these were top notch. The do claim to scratch make everything. Given the taste of the appetizers, it would hard to dispute this. I started with the Midnight Rider drink and others got the Smokey and the Bramble. The Midnight Rider had great nose and taste but was on the sweeter side. The Smokey and the Bramble was a hit with the ladies. For the main course, I got Pat's ribeye 16oz with mashed potatoes. I also added a wedge salad, that was probably one of the best I've had out at a restaurant. It does come in two sizes, go big or go home. It was very nicely seasoned and cooked how I asked for it. The mashed potatoes were okay. The other dishes at the table were; grilled chicken,prime pork chops and t-bone. All the other dishes got a big thumbs up. Our server, Caitlin, was enag and attentive. Highly recommend this location while in Orlando. Do expect Orlando pricing but not too crazy. read more

Sammy was an amazing server. We accidentally arrived at the wrong location for our reservation for a rather large party of 8 which included 5 children. When we finally got to this location we were seated right away (on Easter Sunday no less!) our server was so upbeat and kind quick and even more importantly efficient! We really enjoyed our first visit here. Jose was provided outstanding service and guided us along the way with our meal. We started with the mozzarella sticks which were very unique form your traditional ones. These were very cheesy and delicious. We couldn't finish them all so we took some home. For each main steak you can choose a soup or salad and I got the cesear which was great. Then for our main entree we both got steaks I got the filet and Jose told us about the toppings for the steaks so I got mushrooms, and wow what a great topping. The mushrooms were packed with flavor and were a great addition to the filet. Jose told us to get the Mac and cheese and it was nothing but amazing. Super creamy and delicious. Jillian one of the managers came by to check on our experience and we told her our server was amazing and we really enjoyed our first visit and will be back again to try more items. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was cooked ask requested. The seasoning on the food was great and you could taste that everything was made in-house.
