They have a really extensive menu and breakfast is served all day. My only regret is I love tri-tip and they have it on the menu but each time I was at a Black Bear they had run out. Admittedly we had arrived very late and I'll assume it's both good and popular since all three had run out. It's worth noting that for breakfast, they have real link sausage as well as other options and the sausage is nothing that grocery store skinless junk most places serve today. I was glad to see they had good quality thick bacon as well as several sausage choices for breakfast.

Our bodies fell into a sweet slumber in comfy bed at the adjacent sweet & historic Monroe Inn! Owner Ali remembered I wasn't fond of lights at night & unplugged the ones in backyard. For breakfast, oh my the crowning touch was Ali's resourcefulness to squeeze us fresh OJ because they had run out. The waffles and perfectly cooked bacon hit the spot. This is an adorable little restaurant that I suspect to be family run. It's decorated so cute and the staff is friendly-just like we were eating dinner in their home. Sometimes small town places don't have the best food, but this was an exception. I had a grilled chicken salad that rivals some other salads I've had had fancy restaurants. Truly, it was delicious. Give this new place a try! I saw that they do breakfast as well, so I'll be sure to stop by again earlier when I'm in town again.

My youngest ordered the baked pasta but swapped the marinara for pesto and it came out perfect. Everyone left happy. The service is what really made the meal stand out. Our server was incredible. She never let my Diet Coke get empty. Not once. She was friendly, fast and the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of the entire time. She was the definition of great service. I would just suggest that perhaps the server ask if customers want thin crust when ordering. Secondly, the meat pizza took way longer than the other 2 pizzas. Apparently they ran out of something and had to run to get the ingredients. Wish they would have asked if we wanted to wait or order a different pizza. No discount or anything offered for the wait (about another 20-25 mins after we got the other pizzas). All in all a good visit
