This was the worst meal I've had in a very long time. Our waitress was friendly, that's the nicest thing I can say about this experience. It took over 30 minutes to get our meal. The pancakes were crusty and lukewarm, the omelette was greasy and overcooked, the hash browns were inedible because of the amount of oil, and the toast was not toasted. I'm giving 3 stars because the Employees were nice. My husband had the pesto Salmon with salad and loaded baked potato. The Salmon was drowning in pesto, nothing like the picture, he said it was ok but there was to much pesto sauce! I had the surf and turf I received very well done Shrimps (3) along with hard jelly cocktail sauce. Cold and hard Mashed potatoes ( I asked for a new cocktail sauce and potatos) the Tri tip steak wasn't great but I ate 1/2 of it, I ate the shrimp and a few bites of mashed potatoes! I haven't been a fan of Black Bear diners. We came here for Lunch. This location has got it down. Came in with some coworkers. The inside was decorated nice had plenty of booths and tables. Our waitress was awesome and took good care of us. They got the Tri tip dip sandwich and fries. I got bacon, eggs, and fries. I always order ala carte due to food allergies. We washed it down with some Huckleberry lemonades. It was great. I would come back here for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. I think the food and service were fantastic. read more

Food was subpar... Yet again. I've given this franchise several chances, and I keep hoping it's gonna get better. No matter which location I go to, it's just not the greatest. This location was no exception. Omelets need to be more than a cooked egg pancake then folded over ham, cheese onions and tomatoes. Why can't they grill the filling within the egg while it cooks, like the proper way to make an omelet. Pancakes weren't much better. Bland and flat. read more

Eight of us for dinner at a big table in back room. All but one opted for breakfast for dinner. I had the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast, my 4 grandkids had pancakes, my bride had the tritip steak sandwich and daughter/son-in-law had breakfast as well. Portions are big and everything was mighty tasty! Service was outstanding and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We were passing through on our way from Bryce to Moab and needed a place to eat. We had no idea this was a chain until we saw the menu, but were pleasantly surprised. The best way to describe it is a Denny's that has super cute interior and a more robust menu. They have something on the menu for everyone and it was all tasty. The service was great and efficient. I thought it was priced well for what we got, especially since the portions were huge. We also thought it was great that they hire differently abled people which was just awesome.
