We ordered a medium Hang'em High pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage and pepperoni and it was exceptional. The Tucson tamale was packed with flavor and tasted homemade. My youngest ordered the baked pasta but swapped the marinara for pesto and it came out perfect. Everyone left happy. The service is what really made the meal stand out. Our server was incredible. She never let my Diet Coke get empty. Not once. She was friendly, fast and the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of the entire time. She was the definition of great service. The place has a relaxed Torrey vibe and the pricing was fair for what you get. Hot food, good portions and a team that clearly cares. I was exploring Capitol reef national park and this was one of the few restaurant options open late! Until 9:30pm! The food was delicious and came out fast. The chips were fresh and thin. I got the bbq brisket sandwich, my friends got the meatball sub and mushroom ravioli. The service was great, our waitress let us sit anywhere and came out to take our order. After a massive 14 mile hike, I was ready for some pizza. I tried the RR Patio and ordered a 12 inch pepperoni and sausage pizza. The server quickly brought my drink and took my order. The pizza was very good. It had a slightly crispy crust which I like. If you want a soft-bake crust, you will need to specify that to the server. But I like a crispy crust, so I was pleased. The pizza had plenty of cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. The sauce was decent. This in not a gourmet pizza, but it is solid and tasty. For a park town, this is a good find. They will wrap your extra pizza in foil. That is great in warmer weather when you can put the pizza in the window while hiking. I've been going to this place for years and have heard about bad service but for me it has typically been fine. For good food and a beer with a view after a hot day this has always been our stop. I went in to see the bands and the older blond lady that was serving was rude and impatient. I ordered an app and a beer and she kept rushing me and made me feel not welcome. Then she insulted me that I was "stood up" when I left, since I was dining alone. I had planned on dining alone after a trip to the farmers market and was going to take a to go pizza home to the hubs since he didn't feel up to going out. We ordered a pizza and the baked spaghetti with meatballs. The pizza was good and fresh, but the spaghetti came on a paper plate and I'm pretty sure it was made earlier in the day because we had to ask them to warm it up for us. Rude "greeting" by a millennial-ish employee "Jenna" who could barely be bothered to look away from her phone. When she did she barked answers to simple questions and scolded us for having a dog on a leash, which they allow outside (which is where we were headed when we stopped to ask 2 questions). Before going there, we called to check that the menu at the patio is the same as the restaurant and we're told "yes it is." Well, it ain't. "Who told you THAT?!?" She asked, laughing. We left immediately and complained to the manager (or whomever it was staffing the hotel front desk). Also we will tell our local hotel to not recommend this place anymore to future guests. I am sad to say this was one of the worst meals we have ever had. Our server was very nice, but we made the mistake of not ordering pizza (which looked and smelled great). We ordered the BBQ sandwich (1 with chicken & 1 with brisket) and they were almost inedible. The brisket were shredded and very dry even though it was covered in sauce and cheese.
