It's what you want in a small town. It has the classic local vibe that welcomes the "out of towners" for the seasonal holidays. 5 Stars because it's EXACTLY what I wanted and expected. A local recommendation and the perfect lunch stop in town. Had the Bullies Burger, delicious. Onion rings are a classic style and meets the craving. One of the best old school drive thrus I've been to in a long while.. I'd say it rivals Gotts.. delicious chargrilled made to order!! They have that good good ranch (ifykyk) and awesome seasoned fries!! I also got their shake if they month (it was a peanut butter something or other) but it was delectable!! We went here on a Friday night (they were open until 9pm) after going to Mystic Hot Springs which is less than a mile away. Food was really good! It's not the best burger I have ever had but still good. We had the pepper jack bacon burger, a hamburger, English chips, fried mushrooms and a butterfinger milkshake. Smallest hamburger I've ever had and it was a triple , cheese, bacon. It tasted like an Artic Circle Burger, just ok and over cooked. The shakes are mediocre. In addition my dad wanted a large cup of Ice cream. Like the largest soda cup they have. The little order taker said the manager can't do that. CAN'T.... really? Hm, I've never known you can't put ice cream in a big cup. Dad says what do you want for it, if it's a question of you don't know what to charge because it's not programmed on a button on your cash register then do the math and be creative. It was 7:30 pm..and I clicked on local eats.not alot of options in town....bullies came up and from the limited pics ..my tummy said Yesss... We ordered the daily special ..a chicken and jalapeno sandwich with fries and a drink ...plus the fried mushrooms...they will ask you what sauces you want ..ask for the fry sauce..the girls in the kitchen and order desk were so sweet and friendly..they answered our questions about the other menu items ..I will try the English chips next time! This place was recommended so I went to get some corn dogs and fries. Inside of the corn dog was doughy and completely raw and the fries were limp and cold. They wouldn't give me a refund so they gave me two more dogs that they were "sure" were cooked through. They were almost burned on the outside and still raw in the middle. We were looking for something fast and casual not far off I-70 when we stumbled upon this charming small-town eatery along SR118. At first, it didn't even look as if they were open, since they only had a neon Pepsi sign flashing in the front window. But sure enough, there were 2-3 cars behind back so we pulled around the drive-through side, figuring that that was pretty busy for a small town at 3ish in the afternoon. I will acknowledge in response to some other reviews that if you're looking for McDonald's-like efficiency, this is definitely not the place. In fact, if you asked me, I'd guess that their drive-through window was originally a total afterthought, what with the poor visibility of the menu. That said, if you accept it for what it is and where it is, it's understandable. The lady who took our order was very enthusiastic and eager to get our food out as soon as possible. They have a decent selection of burgers, sandwiches and wraps that are all equally inexpensive and some real, thick shakes (hint: order them without any sort of "frills").
