Cool place to chill. BYOB!!! That's a plus. My man loves the pool tables. Not for a place for the up tights. Relaxing, fun, laid back place.

PARKING - If you park in the garage next door The sweet tooth hotel will validate your ticket. However, I do recommend TAKING A UBER!!! I visited two weeks ago, the elevator in the parking garage was broken!! The wouldn't go down, only up. Let's me clear - I am not that lazy, I will walk when needed. However my friend has a busted knee, which wouldn't allow her to climb stairs. She's already walking like a pirate. I went to 3 other parking garages before I found one that felt safe with an easy walk. We purchased tickets in advance ($17 - Super Sweet Karaoke) General Admisson. As we entered The Sweet Tooth Hotel you could hear the off-key Karaoke in the bar area. We received a room key at the desk for the additional 7-8 rooms. The first three rooms were vibrant and full of local art installations. I was obsessed with the Mad Hatter's tea Party themed room. The bar is fun! Lots of reflective mirrors. You can purchase desserts here as well as cocktails. I wish this place stayed open until 1am. We stayed until closing which was (11pm) I ordered the "sunset dream" cocktail. All cocktails are $8 on Fridays. The bartender gave great suggestions. I would definitely recommend going here if you're in the city.

There is plenty of room to dance and also sit. If you want bottles service for those very busy sold out shows, it's more for convenience of not having to go to the bar and to have a home base to sit if needed. Definitely not the VIP pretentious typical bottle service. Otherwise regular tickets are just as great! Were here to dance, right? Staff is always kind, welcoming and friendly. They also do have a job to do, so there are times they have to be firm and they are not about the riff raff. Respect them and the club and they will respect you. This is a club that remembers why we go out in the first place. This spot strips away all the superficial nonsense of the typical nightlife scene--there's no dress code to stress over and no "gatekeeper" energy. It's a rare, comfortable, no-frills atmosphere where a shared love for the music is the only thing that matters. This isn't a place to "be seen"; it's a space to be yourself. Whether you're a pro dancer or just vibrating in the corner, nobody is judging your style or your outfit. It's pure, unfiltered energy. If you want to dance like nobody is watching with a room full of people doing the exact same thing, you've found home. Go for the sound, stay for the community. Come as you are and come to dance.

Have you ever been transported back into a time machine? That's what being at the Lawn at Reunion…read moreis like. Tonight I was there to see a Weezer concert, but first I have to give you some history about this historic sight. Reunion Arena use to be a four walled concert venue in its hay day. My parents saw great acts like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd there in the 70s. I even saw my first concert at Reunion Arena in Junior High, Bon Jovi. This use to be the only venue to see big acts in Dallas. Then the American Airlines Center was built. That's when Reunion Arena was demolished. Now, all that is left today is a grassy field. Tonight they resurrected this great sight to its former greatness. I was transformed back to my college days when I was such a huge Weezer fan. I felt so young again. I was singing along and throwing the "W" Weezer sign above my head. The sound system here is amazing. The last time I saw Weezer was at Winstar and it was way too heavy with bass. I think it had something to do with Snoop Dog being at the venue the night before. Weezer sounded like the great rock n roll band that they are tonight. This outdoor concert also had 6 food tents and two beer tents. The line for beer was 30 people deep. There was also another option for buying tickets. There was $100 VIP tickets that allowed you to get unlimited food and alcohol. Those concert goers were sectioned off. I did not have those tickets I bought mine for $30 off of groupon. It was also really easy to get to the concert tonight. I took the red line on the dart train from Plano. It practically arrived at the front door of the concert. It was such a hassle free way to arrive at Reunion. We also didn't have to worry about traffic after the concert or parking.

Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

Rubbing Elbows One…read moreof the best reason to go see a live band is the ability to feel the music coming out of their mouths and instruments. That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view
