It never takes long to get served a drink here as they have multiple bars and bartenders scattered across the venue, and the prices are very reasonable. We each paid $5 for our entrance fee and they give you a stamp on your right hand. Rubbing it with hand sanitizer when you get home helps it come off quicker! Fun spot, and I liked how big it is. I'm used to a place in Largo, which is more of a dance floor that's also a bar, whereas this is definitely a bar, with a dance floor (if that makes sense). Went here for our end of the year gym party. I was skeptical at first. But when I got in there it was huge multiple bars so there wasn't an over crowd or a long line trying to get a drink. There was plenty of space so much I didn't get to explore every inch of the place so safe to say I will be returning. I thought it was cool that they actually have someone there to teach you a few of the dances. I must look more into it to see if they have classes on certain nights. First, the web site says a different hour of operation. They need to update this. Secondly, the guy who worked the front was not friendly. On of our friends tried to use their bathroom, they would not let him use the bathroom 'because the bartenders are setting up'. I went here to learn some line dancing. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone was friendly. Just a heads up--the dress code is strict. I wore a black tee, baseball jersey, regular shorts, and vans. I was almost turned away because my shorts didn't have belt loops. They don't allow slides, but I noticed some people on the dance floor wearing them. Ive been taking line dancing lessons here for a year now. My favorite night is Friday night, because it's not too crowded. The dance floor gets really packed and it's hard to move around on Thursday and Saturday nights. My dancing has gotten better. People are respectful for the most part. The security guys have been welcoming and helpful. lots of different age groups. Ive had food from the food truck outside once or twice after all that dancing. It was okay but not spectacular. Im always covered in sweat when i leave here, deff less is more when trying to pick out an outfit. You don't need a partner to line dance which is great for gurls night or singles. Yikes. If you're looking for a place that reminds you of the small southern town you grew up in, in the middle of nowhere that is still stuck in the 1960's, this is the place for you! Otherwise, I'd take my business literally anywhere else to the other several hundred bars in Orlando. I, with my white friends, had no problem entering this bar. We casually walked in, weren't even charged cover when we all should have been, and grabbed drinks with no wait. As I looked around the bar, I noticed that there was no diversity in sight whatsoever: something rare for our beautiful city. We had invited another friend to join us and I met him just at the entrance of the bar, just to watch them kick him out of the bar- that he wasn't welcome in. I kindly asked the bouncer and the manager why my friend was not allowed inside their bar, and they said it was because he threw his wallet at the cashier and started a physical altercation-- I was standing there the entire time and this never happened. Our friend would have never done something like that, regardless. This was my first time witnessing blatant racism unfold right in front of me and while my friend seemed used to it, it was shocking and disappointing to witness and not be able to do a single thing about it. We left. As for the bar in general, it's a lot of line dancing. Very odd place. Even if the issue with my friend wouldn't have happened, I'm not sure that I would ever go back. Something different to do around Orl. Thursdays is ladies nights so no cover for the girls but defintely more of a college feel. Fridays are more of a chill vibe. Saturdays are usually the busiest and most diverse ages with a cover charge both Fridays and Saturdays (more expensive). Cowboys is your typical southern line-dancing venue as the name of it implies. The bulk of the music, about 90% is country music, some modern, some older well-known songs. The remaining 10% being a couple of pop/rap played at the very end of the night to hype the crowd up it seems. Usually Waka Flocka or Pitbull. I do wish they would emphasize this side of club/mainstream music more because when they play these, the crowd always goes wild. Even when they play the Wobble for example, so many people run to the floor. It would be nice to see the line-dancing that takes place for hours be segmented, making for a better night-life ambiance for tourists and avid line-dancers alike. I come here about 2-3 times a month since Nov and unfortunately the same songs get old and redundant very fast. I removed a star because of this and also because there is no real DJ. The gentleman behind the booth plays songs in their entirety. I believe when you ask for a song request, it has to fall under their criteria of what they normally play, so you can't expect them to play Spanish music nor trending artists unless for some miraculous reason they decide to but I have yet to see it. They cater to their target audience so it makes sense why. Some of my favorite elements of this bar are how nice and outgoing the bartenders are, the outdoor area, and pool tables. All of the bartenders my friend group has gotten always give service with a smile, are extremely attentive and remember their regulars! Dom is one of our favorites! Just a heads up also, they do have a dress code, mainly for men, but it seems like that doesn't apply with certain political tshirts that are borderline offensive (those are allowed) and it kind of dampens the mood in the venue seeing these types of people walk around just fine but thats just my opinion on what I feel is questionable as far as what the owners allow in. All in all, a fun time and the drinks are good, fairly priced. They do have 2 for 1 shot specials throught the night. As long as you know what to expect you'll have a good time. read more

have been coming almost every Thursday-Sunday since 2018(obviously the pandemic happened) but the service was great to start. I always tipped my bartenders almost 100% since they were attentive- this last 5 months or so, not only has the owner told me I needed to cover up my tattoos, declined entry for my African American friends AND not allowed us to get cups of water (after having a bar tab) my bestfriend passed out of dehydration last week and they asked her to leave.... Cowboys will not get any of mine or my friends business going forward- so extremely rude and they treat you like a number. Negative stars for this pos establishment. How are you gonna say you take requests but deny the request? It's not like they already played the song, no. They simply just didn't want to. Drive up to the place (on OBT) and it looks like an abandoned building. You enter through a liquor store with plexiglass. The attendant was disgruntled and acted like we were bothering her by asking where the entrance was. Sadly, it didn't end there. The staff and security are little (both in brains and stature) people on a power trip. Found out later the leader of the loons was the owner's son. The inside looks like it hasn't been touched in 50 years - and not in a good way. They ban people that stand against the genocide in Palestine on social media. Its an ok club as long as they don't choose to discriminate against. In 2007 when I first heard about cowboys orlando the staff was very racist to me. They told me I couldnt get in unless I took off my hat, tucked in my chain and my shirt because they said my clothes were too baggy. Very rude. Within 10 minutes of getting inside they accused me of drinking a girls drink and kicked me out. I was one of the only black people there to give you some context. and this was not only crazy, but not true. I stayed away for 2 years because of that racist experience but later heard from some friends the Owners family had now had now hired new staff and the times were changing and they were more accepting of races. I started supporting them by bringing party buses from the walt disney world college program for the next 14 years. I put a white guy as the spokesman in contact with them to assure no issues. I was Always seeing random acts of racism there still but thinking in my head, maybe that person did something bad and what they were doing was deserving. Also now that i bringing people there it was now in my best interests to ignore it. After covid when they finally met me in person as the guy who has been supporting them since 2009 they were very rude denying me access. I contacted daniel who was in charge and he approve me to enter again but stated the disney buses would no longer be free but i can come in. Now fast forward to 2024 I have been banned for supporting palestine on my instagram. Im really dissapointed in this establishment. After 55 years in business they need to learn to accept everyone no matter race or beliefs. Its sad this stuff still happens in 2024. read more

I like - no, love - country music. West coasters don't judge me! My Floridian friend took me here because she knows I would dig the tunes and this place is a well known hot spot for locals. It was terrific! We came on a Saturday, waited in the long line which didn't take more than 20 minutes, paid $10 cover ($15 for men) and that admission included free beer all night! You just bring back the empty bottle to the bar 10pm-1am to get a new one every time. The best was all the line dancing -- all night and no one shooed you away if it was clear you were a rookie. Most of the people know the steps to each song so well you know they are regulars, and if I lived in Orlando I probably would become one so I would know exactly when to stomp and exactly when to turn! Despite being a line dancing newbie I had a great time on the always packed dance floor. Very few wallflowers just standing and not participating. What's extra cool is how people dance country to the pop songs! They alternate country and pop songs here which was really cool. For the country music though, way too much Florida Georgia Line. I love that band but I would love more variety as I have been to other country bars where I knew every song and I was kinda in the dark last weekend here. This was a pretty good experience. Nothing horrible per say, nothing great or outstanding either. This is definitely a line dancing forward bar, even giving lessons that started around 9:00pm. However, if you are just coming to dance and have fun this may not be the bar for you. There are 4 pool tables in the back, but one was out of order. There were also some seating areas inside and 4 bars all around the dance floor. Ambiance: 6/10 Music: 7/10 Food: N/A Drinks: 9/10 If you are truly coming for the line dancing then this is the place for you, if you're looking for a little more maybe try somewhere else. read more

This place has potential. Three areas managment and owners should address. One, the bouncers need to keep people from standing on the dance floor. Two the dance floor could be better if people were not allowed to drink while dancing. Three, the DJ on on Friday nights should play songs requested without having to pay him. If you request a song, he makes you pay him, to play said song. To ensure he gets requests, he tanks his Playlist. Out in Georgia for training and my best friend flies out to celebrate a mini reunion weekend with me filled with cowboy line dancing and a day at EPCOT! When we checked in at our hotel we asked the front desk where we can enjoy a night at a country bar and Cowboys was the only recommendation she gave us and promised we will not be disappointed. When we arrived we discovered a very diverse group of people all over this place and we felt right at home. We instantly made new friends, danced the night away, played a few rounds of pool and appreciated the free beer from 10pm until 1am!! It was a fantastic night!! The facility was a pretty good size accommodating a very large crowd, the dance floor was perfect and just about everyone participated on the dance floor or wherever they were standing with their company. The staff were quick to serve and kept everyone in line, they were fun and lively and also kept regulars coming back for good times. We were thrilled to enjoy our country night at this place and we hope to visit again if we are ever in town next chance we get! Thank you Cowboys for making our visit an awesome one! read more

I handed over more money for my share, since again there were 6 of us on that tab, and asked if it was fine now and we could go back inside to join our group. On a week night evening, trying to get away from the stress level of the grind and we walk away feeling intimidated?! By bartenders and "security".?! We get it....White trash business takes place here... BUT humans deserve respect, especially when the end goal is profit. In Orlando, it's safe to say we have all had a hand in the service industry and we know it's tough... but really? This establishment needs to step up (grow up) and gain some class. ( managers felt that the immaturity of their staff was fine, even encouraged, no changes needed- they stand by their irrational, childish, temper-tantrum throwing staff). To the tourists: If you want to have a good time in this city, Orlando has about a thousand better options than this dump. Don't stoop to this level. By the time you pay cover, might as well just go to a cover-free establishment (literally any bar/ street downtown) where you can relax, be an adult, and be treated like a normal human. Fantastic evening with friends last night! Celebrated Halloween in costume + it was ladies night! So much fun even if you're just learning how to dance they have an instructor there and the whole group gets to try line dancing together.
