After a few hours of drinking, we somehow stumbled into this place because apparently it was the spot for late-night food. We grabbed seats at the bar and were greeted by a very goth-looking bartender who immediately reminded me of someone from high school. Honestly, I looked at him and felt like I had time-traveled back -- I'm pretty sure we were even the same age. We ordered drinks, asked for menus, and went full bar-food mode: chicken tenders, tater tots, and I'm almost positive jalapeño poppers. When I think of bar food, I picture classic fried chicken tenders -- these weren't breaded and didn't even look fried, which honestly wasn't a bad thing. They were still good. The only slightly funny moment was when I asked for ketchup and felt mildly judged for it. I mean... what's wrong with ketchup? Instead, I was handed BBQ sauce and hot sauce. At that point in the night, I truly did not care. Most of my time there was actually spent completely locked in on Sailor Moon playing on the TV. I haven't watched Sailor Moon since high school, so the whole vibe felt like I was transported back to my preteen years. Between the goth bartender and the anime nostalgia, it was a full throwback experience. Overall, no real complaints. It's your typical grungy bar -- exactly what you want during a bar-hopping night. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside and it is quite a spacious spot to take in all the photos and graffiti of past fun times. There is a full bar, nice beer selection, and you can even play beer pong. Check out the kiosk to order food from The Vegan Hot Dog Cart and the food is amazing! It is Brie's Mom's dream come true to have a vegan hot dog, as they are hard to find. We recommend visiting during the day before it gets too crowded at the nightlife scene. One of the cleaner dive bars I've been to. There are still sticky spots here and there. No food just drinks. A digital dart board awaits higher functioning guests and beer pong table for the more subdued. No parking on Orange, which was weird. The entire block was blocked off. Could've been a one off. ok, let me say that it takes so much for me to write a bad review, but this has been bothering me for days. Thursday night (9/5/24), my husband and I attended a concert across the street from this bar. We had been down in that area last winter and were so happy to find a vegan hot dog place. The service was great and we were able to chill with some drinks while we ate our vegan grub before driving an hour home. While we were down for the show on Thursday, we decided to share something small before the show. The day shift bartender was great. We went to the concert and our kids called asking if we would get them some of the vegan dogs to go. After the show we went back and ordered the food from the kiosk and had some drinks while we waited. we sat off to the side and didn't bother anyone. I had a couple of friendly patrons chat with me and everything seemed to be going great. We pick up our food, none of it was correct, but we just ate it anyway because it wasn't far off and we don't like complaining. I asked a bartender that wasn't serving us until then if i could maybe get some ketchup for the fries i was eating and he acted so pissed that i even asked him. I think wow, that was weird , but blew it off. I want to make sure its known that by this point we had already tipped at least $60 because we are both bartenders and feel like no matter how much the tab is, you pay for your time in the seat at the bar. For whatever reason this one bartender keeps just looking pissed we are there. We decide it's probably best to get on home anyway. We take our to go food and decide to go potty since its an hour drive home on the turnpike. We know that the door doesn't lock for the bathroom so everyone goes in pairs so someone can hold the door. We waited behind 3 groups that went in together and came out together. We go in and I hold the door while my husband uses it. As soon as I start going someone starts banging on the door and yelling at us to open the door. Saying you've been in there for 3 minutes(as if there is a time limit). My husband is saying my wife is in here going pee bro. What's your deal. As soon as i pulled my pants up this guy is screaming at us to get the f**k out now. We were like, we were leaving anyway, but wtf? Maybe that bartender is doing too many speed balls before his shift, i really don't know why he's so pissed off. It really sucks because we literally didn't do anything. We weren't ever kissing or anything. There is a bartender with the flower of life tattooed on his arm. I wish I knew his name, he is a treasure. This place is lucky to have him. Too bad he wasn't around when the other guy tried to come in the bathroom while my pants were down peeing. bar had a nice ambience at first when i was spending money the male bartender named jim or john or something was nice enough. he sold me a mixed drink that had flat coke and was way too sweet, i went back to the bar and kindly asked to get a double shot instead and pay the difference because the drink was not to my standards and he flat out says no and proceeds to go back and forth with me saying i don't have to drink the nasty drink but i can't replace it and will have to buy a 20 dollar double shot if i wasn't happy with the drink. all this after i left him a nice tip for the first round f drinks i ordered. will not be returning and i will be warning anyone who is coming here and is not caucasian will be treated like a second class citizen. read more

One of my go to bars downtown to start the night for the past couple years. Their feel is a bit more dive-ish and very laid back, it's located across the street from ibar. They have a small amount of seating out front then plenty of seating around the bar and tables pushed against the walls to make room for a dance floor. They play a range of music here and I always have a great time. The beer and drinks are affordable prices especially being a place downtown. However I don't recommend you getting a draft beer instead opt for a can/bottle the draft beers tend to be flat which is the only downfall besides semi-slow service when it starts to pick up. They also have a cute photo booth off to the side that you can take pictures in and are always fun to do with friends. I'll definitely continue to come here with friends. read more

Just walked out of Lizzie's with 2 other friends to meet up with a friend at this POS just 10 feet away. The bartender allowed my friend to buy a bucket of beers at 1:57am, knowing that his 3 friends were about to be there. We got there at 1:59am and the clock struck 2am as we were about to walk in, and the doorman said "you guys can't come in, it's 2am," and locked the door in front of us. I said "Excuse me, my friend is in there with 5 beers that he just ordered, and we're right here. The beers are already ordered. Can we just meet with our friend to drink the beers he just paid for?" The doorman replied in such a rude and curt way: "LISTEN. IT'S 2AM. THE DOORS ARE SHUT, AND YOU ARE NOT GETTING IN. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT??" Shocked, I said "I just asked politely.." and he rudely stated "AND I'M TELLING YOU, *politely* IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Have a good night." And shut the door. My buddy paid $30 for the drinks, drank partially of one, and left to meet with us outside and leave. The doorman wore black-rimmed glasses, had a scruffy unshaven beard, with graying black hair, possibly 34-40 years old. Wow Sly Fox is amazing. An EDM festival in Orlando that a bunch of people were supposed to attend was cancelled. Sly Fox played amazing dubstep music the entire night for all of us who weren't able to attend the festival. They were so kind to all of us even though it wasn't the normal music they played. For a place where you can always encounter drink specials and listen to some chill music all while having a good timme catching up with friends - Sly Fox is the place to be at. The environment is very welcoming as the entire staff is extremely friendly and they give off nothing but positive vibes. I never have to wait for a bartender to notice me so I can order a drink which is a plus because a long wait time can be a turn off in my opinion. For a picture in the photobooth it's simply $5 (cash, card, and/or Applepay) and it makes for a great memory (or in my cse - a room decoration lol).
