The food was OK. The nachos were very salty the conch the fried conch was OK and crab and cheese dip was really good. The service was fantastic. The waiter was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. They gave us the money back for the nachos because they were very salty. overall I gave it 3 1/2 stars because of the fantastic Service. They played the song which was great. It was awesome. I would recommend this if you in the area for a drink just for the ambience.

Peel and eat shrimp 7/10 The menu says steamed but they're actually chilled. Flavor was good. Shrimp was overcooked and the way that they chilled them made the shrimp so difficult to peel, the shrimps actually kept just breaking in half. It was honestly a huge pain and not worth it. The spicy mayo they came with was pretty good though. Fish tacos 10/10 The fish was flaky. The batter was good and fried perfectly. The toppings went great together too. The only thing I would like though is a couple limes on the side to squeeze on them. I did not eat the rice or beans so not sure how they were. Crab cake 8/10 I liked that you can add a crab cake to anything, but it comes plain. I do wish it came with a little bit of the Remoulade either on top or on the side to dip. I dipped it on the spicy mayo from the shrimp, and those paired really well together.

Had some free time and was staying on property and went to margaritaville for lunch. We were able to walk right in and be seated. The waitress was very kind and helpful. The decor was really fun. The food was so-so. I had coconut shrimp and my son has the taco salad. The raspberry virgin margarita was the star of the meal.

I used to love coming to Margaritaville Orlando for a fun dinner! I came recently for the first time in years, and it wasn't as good as I remember it being. Maybe it's just because I was younger, but I feel like the volcano show being more elaborate and there just generally being more of an energetic party atmosphere. The food and service was okay. Our waitress was nice, but she kept forgetting things; we would have to ask multiple times for the same thing, and it wasn't even crowded. I got a quesadilla, which didn't have much flavor and was kind of greasy. I'm hoping this last visit was a fluke, because I used to love coming here. I do love other margaritaville locations though!

We had an amazing experience! Our server, Nicole, was incredibly friendly, polite, and made us feel right at home. We were seated at a perfect balcony table overlooking the water -- such a beautiful spot to relax, especially after hitting the rides all morning. We ordered a round of margaritas (two Perfect Margaritas, a 5 O'clock Somewhere, and a Jalamango Margarita), and every single one was fantastic. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and exactly what we needed. For appetizers, we had the Lava Lava Shrimp and Volcano Nachos, and both were delicious. Everything hit the spot -- great drinks, great food, great vibes. Highly recommend, and big shoutout to Nicole for making the experience even better!

This was not my first time at Universal Orlando Citywalk, but it was my first time at Margaritaville. This location is an iconic part of the Universal Citywalk skyline along with the Hard Rock Cafe. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville was purposely built to draw attention and it does. It is one of the largest venues on Citywalk with 3 distincts sections. The outdoor section; the gift shop; and the indoor section. Not to be outdone by the other both restaurant parts have their own stages for respective entertainment. We opted to eat inside. With the live entertainment, the men walking on stilts, the crowded patrons, it was hard to hear yourself talk at times. They spared no expense or creativity when they decorated the place. Pictures can try, but being there is an experience. I tried their virgin pina colada. Yom Yom Yom. Tammy got their Perfect Margarita and she said it was pretty close to perfect! Volcano Nachos: A YUGE mountain of tortilla chips, chili, cheese, pico de gallo, fresh guacamole, sour cream and pulled pork. Wow! We couldn't finish it. Yom Yom Yom! Caribbean New York Strip: 10 oz. New York Strip Caribbean jerk seasoned, sweet plantain, chayote & yellow squash, sweet peppers, fried onions. The cook on the steak was spot on, but I didn't taste as much jerk seasoning. I would say it was a tad under-seasoned. The fried onions and the cooked plantains were perfect. Fish tacos: Large filets fried in a golden batter, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw, key lime crema, black beans, island rice, pico de gallo. The fish was delicious. The large slice of fresh avocado with the key lime crema adds a nice flavor to the fried fish. Trip Around the Sun Burger: Two caramelized burger patties, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeƱo relish, habanero ranch, on a brioche bun. Presentation was delightful. The jalapeno relish wasn't overly sweet and eaten with the habanero ranch, it was a very good burger! Yom Yom Yom! Cheeseburger in Paradise: The burger named after the famous song by Jimmy Buffett! Half pound of black angus beef with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, paradise island sauce on a brioche bun. If you look up American cheeseburger in a dictionary, you'd be hard press not to see a picture of this fellow. What's not to like. As the name implies, Margaritaville is an experience as much as it a restaurant. Take in the scenery and ask the men in stilts for a balloon animal. The connect gift shop has many many souvenir items to remind yourself of the great time you had at Margaritaville.

Recently we had a girls night and decided to play tourists so we headed to City Walk for dinner and drinks. We ate at Margaritaville prior to drinks. The atmosphere was nice, we sat outside in the covered patio, eventually there was live music (steel barreled drums) and it wasn't too loud, it set a nice vibe. We sat for probably close to ten minutes before our server greeted us. Once she greeted us she was pretty attentive, checking on us frequently. We ordered a round of drinks, they were ok, nothing special. The margarita was unfortunately not that good, you'd think it would be their top cocktail but i've had better. Our food came out pretty quickly but unfortunately nothing was hot. It was warm, but not hot. I got the meatloaf cuban sandwich that sounded amazing but it was a little lackluster. Two others got the shrimp rice bowl and one got the fish tacos. The fish tacos were the star of the table, they looked great and tasted delicious. Overall this was an ok experience, just nothing special.

Food was great with ample choices to pick from. Service was top notch. Loved the theming and music in there restaurant. It was very enjoyable watching videos and singing along with other patrons to Jimmy's songs.

This was my first time at Margaritaville and if I had to summarize the experience in one word, it'd be "overstimulating". Though the margs and delicious, the atmosphere is overwhelming. It's a huge venue so there's people everywhere, then there's lights flashing, videos playing, live musicians, a balloon animal maker, and a volcano randomly going off. It was hard to hear one another speak and enjoy the meal with so many things vying for your attention. The food was okay, not bad but not really special.

Fish tacos

This place definitely commits to its theme--the interior is absolutely wild in the best way. Thankfully we made a reservation, because it was packed even on a Thursday night. Despite how busy it was, the service was fairly quick. The fish tacos were great, and the rice and beans were surprisingly flavorful. I also loved the live music; it added so much to the atmosphere. Overall, a really fun and tasty experience.

Jasmin S.

The ceviche is Americanized. The fish tacos have Cole slaw which apparently is Caribbean. I totally was expecting something else. But overall the food did not have enough salt and pepper. Jessica our server was amazing and the margaritas were delicious. We had the "living it up" margarita. I recommend asking for no orange syrup if you don't want it so sweet.

Coconut Shrimp

My husband ordered a medium burger, & it came extremely rare. But because the service was so slow, we didn't bother to have it corrected. (The restaurant was NOT overly crowded.) We also had the pretzel sticks app. The pretzels were great but the dips were a congealed slop. GOOD NOTE: Pleasantly surprised at how good the Coconut Shrimp meal was. A disappointing experience overall.

Karen N.

We stopped in for drinks and an appetizer.. We had a reservation, but still had to wait even though there were several empty tables. Service was fair. We had the tequila shrimp ceviche. The shrimp were in a creamy marinade, topped with bite size pieces of avocado and cilantro. The tortilla chips were supposedly home made, but they were dry and seemed stale. We had the margarita flight which was very good. A variety of four margaritas, the mango and perfect margarita were my favorites. The atmosphere is tropical and festive, but service and food could be improved.

From the moment we walked in, he made sure to ask us questions and give recommendations because it was our first time. He let us know that these were the best burgers in Orlando, and he wasn't lying. The food, although a little pricey, was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Bangin' Shrimp as an appetizer, which blew me away. The shrimp had a tempura fry to it, giving it a perfectly crispy crunch. The sauces that were drizzled on top helped to amplify the flavor of the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Shroom N Swiss burger. I love how thick and juicy the burger patties are. It's hard to find a good burger place that has thick patties, and The Whiskey delivers that meat. Another thing that blew me away was the mushroom that came on top. The staff were all friendly, and I appreciate them not chasing everyone out the minute the show was over like they do at Hard Rock Universal. Eric Martin put on a great show and was engaging with the audience. Honestly, I only knew two of his songs from when he was with Mr. Big; regardless, I enjoyed the show and his voice/showmanship is as good as ever. Velvet Sessions is a big win for Hard Rock in my opinion. Everyone I talked to who have been coming here for years said that they remodeled since 2019 and things have changed quite a bit. I couldn't tell you if the changes are for better or worse, but I can tell you that for $70+ ticket price you get a lot for your money. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. But instead we were seated right in front of the live band and it was so loud, we couldn't talk at all. The funny thing was that the restaurant was barely half full! Our waiter also had a tough time hearing us so we had to corret our orders a couple of times. They ran out of beef patties:-( that day. We decide to order some appetizers and a couple of entrees and shared. We had the Buffalo Soldier Jerk Wings - Had a nice spice to it and was quite delicious. We also hd the Jerk Caulifolower bites - a little sweet and spicy sauce and we all agreed this was the best dish we had! We had the Curried Goat stew - a weak curry and did not really have any spice to it. The Reggae Jamaican Jerk Chicken had a sweet spice and sticky sauce - next best dish we had. We also ordered the Coco bread- which was disappointing andd I do not recommend. It was just bread with some butter in it and definitely overpriced for what you got! Cocktails were rather weak. Server was just OK. He wasn't very attentive and did nothing to make our visit great.
