The scallops were great (i hate to say surprisingly, but you really wouldn't expect both good quality scallops, and them being well-prepared, in Wyoming)! What was even better was the ambiance, however! There was a performer playing, which you could hear well from the patio, which itself wasn't crowded, but which gave the feeling of being amongst the show-going crowd while being partitioned off. The patio's also dog friendly (albeit a little narrow).

$41.15 (food - crispy brussel sprouts, bison ravioli sugo. drink - water) Cowfish monologue: I've had brussel sprouts before. I've had ravioli before. How different can my dining experience at Cowfish really be?! The answer, inspirationally different. The restaurant was attractive. There were several options to choose from for your ambiance of choice, to include outdoor dining. I ate at the bar and enjoyed my time chatting with the bartenders. As far as the food, well, the brussel sprouts were soooo crispy and tasty. But what was different about these sprouts, there were cute little apple pieces sprinkled on my plate. I finished every crisp, sprout and apple on my plate. It was actually enough to be a meal all by itself, that's of course if you weren't starving like I was. Which leads me to the main course. The bison ravioli sugo. This dish came with, I think macadamia nuts. This dish was certainly not something I would have expected to have and thoroughly enjoy in Lander. But here I was, enjoying every time the fork rose to my mouth to place bison meat wrapped in a pasta pocket covered in sauce right onto my taste buds. Yum, yum and you need to go. I was so full and satisfied. P.S. - Next time I visit, I'll have to order the drink "vesper". Several of those were being made while I sat at the bar enjoying my meal. The fragrance was, well, fragrant.

    Outside seating, venue.

Amazing food, great attentive service. We got the cheese stuffed mushrooms as a starter and they were fantastic. I got the Local Burger and was very pleasantly surprised as well. I will be coming back again.

Delicious food. More pricey than your typical sit down place but that's expected for this area.

The service was good. But the food was all barely warm and small portions. It was very overpriced and nothing special.

Food is average and it's hit or miss on service. Would go back and try again, but for the price other places I prefer.

Fifty to sixty five dollars per person. Microbrews. Rib eye is great. My favorite appetizer are the southwest chicken egg rolls!

Basically this has been folded into the End Zone sports bar. The number still works; the menu here…read morewas accurate enough to point me to the California poppers and maki roll. When I showed up to pick up my takeout, the door marked Zanmai was locked and it looked like that end of the building was half dismantled. It took a little bit to get the attention of the guy at the bar (the two women he was talking to actually pointed me out to him) and he handed me my food with a smile. I then walked it home, about 20 minutes, so it wasn't in as good a shape as it could have been. Still, the California popper things (battered jalapeno stuffed with crab and cream cheese) were a creative idea well executed. The sushi was... mildly penitential. If it was smoked salmon I could no longer tell, and it came with a packet of generic soy sauce instead of anything more specialized to sushi.

The "Divorcinator" was on tap This is aN IPA. It was happy with a slight sweetness. For lunch I ordered the salad bar which included the soup of the day. I also got a side of tater tots. The salad bar was modest but adequately supplied with fresh salad and toppings. The soup was loaded potato soup. It was hot, thick, and creamy with chunks of diced potatoes and pieces of bacon and green onion. The tater tots were light and crispy, perhaps the best I've ever had. I was cheerfully and efficiently served by Tiffany who knew the menu and the drinks backwards and forwards. I ordered a bison burger and a side of wild rice. The burger was very tasty whether it was actually bison or not. The side of rice was overcooked and very forgettable. The stars of the day were the three local beers I tried: wheat beer, a double IPA, and a Baltic porter. All three hit the spot. They have a nice bar area if you are more interested in boozing than eating. Next time I'm in town, I'll certainly return here.
