Stumbled across this place while in Las Vegas. Pretty large store with parking right out front. We were welcomed soon as we walked in and offered help if we needed it. There are cowboy hats, western wear for men and women, jewelry and racks of boots. My hubby found a great pair of Ariat boots that were on clearance, he's already worn them and says they are so comfortable from the get go, wore them all day with no complaints. Nice selection of western boots and hats for all ages. Also a nice selection of men's clothes, smaller for children's and even smaller for women. There were two gentlemen working the store. I'm not their demographic but I can appreciate the store selection and the quality of boots and hats. Though I don't typically wear western clothes, I still found a decent amount of things I could wear maybe for Coachella where the theme tends to run in line with western wear. Incredible selection of all things Cowboy here! For men, women and what we were looking for kids! We bought our son his first pair of cowboy boots! While they certainly have an enormous selection, I found that the majority of their boots are overpriced and manufactured overseas. There were some manufacturered in the U.S. but looked like poor quality. I couldnt really find anything with good quality. What's more disappointing is that while I was there, it was completely empty and both salespeople didnt even bother asking me if I need any help. 3 stars for a huge selection though. read more

I'm an Asian-American who wears cowboy boots. Ever since I was a little kid I was always a big fan of Leiji Matsumoto, and in many of his shows he would feature a Japanese hero or villain who for some reason would be wearing cowboy boots even though he was from Japan. I've always modeled my fashion sense after Matsumoto's art, so that's why I wear vintage1960s London Coats,that's why I wear bootcut jeans, and that's why I wear cowboy boots that have flashy-over-the-top designs. I was helped by a cowboy named Jesse who knew every little fact about cowboy boots and how to choose them. What I love the most about the service he provided was that he NEVER tried to up-sell me. At other Western Boot stores they always try to pressure you into buying the most expensive boot, but you won't get that here at COWTOWN. You can look around all you want, and there is no pressure to buy. Jesse was great and he probably gave me the best customer service I have ever gotten in Las Vegas. And we all know that good customer service is extremely hard to find here in LV. In fact, every worker here provided excellent service and the best thing was that they didn't come off too wacky like one of those car salesmen from Oklahoma. Everyone at COWTOWN had that old fashion "Polite Republican from Texas" attitude. I would rather come here instead of Shepler's. Don't get me wrong, I love Shelper's but COWTOWN has much better prices. I bought a pair of boots at Shelper's that costed $220, but I found the same exact ones here at COWTOWN for $59.99. Also, the customer service at COWTOWN is just unbeatable. read more

This place is a thousand percent better than any Boot Barn I went to the Boot Barn in Las Vegas they were rude disrespectful completely useless I drove 15 minutes over to cowtown Boots found what I needed at $20 less than Boot Barn had two guys working there both of them waited on me there was no lines no crowd there was only two people to customers in the store while I was there I was in and out of there in 5 or 10 minutes their shirts are $20 less than Boot Barn their boots are $50 less than Boot Barn if You're going to Boot Barn you're taking it up the butt I never seen such lazy stupid people as the ones they've got working at Boot Barn they just don't care if you buy anything or not no customer service at Boot Barn then I go over to cowtown Boots and they wait on you like you're buying a new Lexus read more

They have large selection of books, but the men's selection is larger than women's. Very friendly and helpful staff. There were a few American made boots, but when you looked inside they were a little rough with exposed nails or leader that was too thin making the boot hard for your foot. Then, there was a bunch of Mexican made boots that appeared to be slightly better quality. The Chinese made boots where the cheapest, but I can also get those in NYC for a fraction of the price. I know that cowboy boots tend to be so expensive when made by hand in the US, and I belieave that the offering here is more of an affordable level. However, they still average $200 a pair. So, when the quality is not good, I rather not make the purchase which is what happened here. However, I'm giving the store 4 stars because it's cowboy heaven with lots of hats Jeans and different cowboy attire. I also belieave that my size 10 shoes may have been more difficult to stock for them. I do recommend you visit this store as it was one of the better stores in the area. read more

Eh, my boyfriend and I came here because he likes high-quality crocodile boots. They have a nice selection, but they are all out in the open, not even in boxes. This means that a $300-400 dollar pair of boots has been out, tried on, dusty, and they really don't look prestine. I guess this is ok for people who don't care how shiny or clean their boots look, but if you like quality boots in brand new condition, you won't like it here. My boyfriend ended up NOT buying anything at Cowtown Boots, but instead, bought some online from another company and they came with their box and brand-spankin' new condition! When I combined them with my Black Felt Cowboy hat and went to my local bars, my ensemble did cause quite a stir. I know how to ride a horse mister! Don't Test me. Went to Cowtown today to pick up a pair of work boots and my experience was splendid. The service was excellent as was the selection of footwear. I went to the boot barn after to compare the prices and saved myself a nice amount buying from Cowtown. I will revisit them next time I'm looking for some new boots for sure. read more

A huge range of cowboy boots, sold by real cowboys. Reasonably priced for excellent quality leather boots that will last for years to come. Brands such as Ariat, Durango, Laredo, Dan Post line the shelves with excellent options for the wider antipodean foot. We caught a cab as its about a 10min drive from the strip. The service was helpful but not OTT, the restrooms clean. They even called us a cab back to our lodgings. Definitely my first stop next time we're in Vegas! read more

I love Cowtown, and my favorite pair of boots were bought here. They have a pretty decent selection and the staff is always friendly. They even let me price match since the price on their website was a little cheaper. All I had to do was ask. The best part about Cowtown is that their boots are actually very affordable. I only paid $150 for mine. However, you do get the quality you pay for as my boots have some loose strings and such. Regardless, I'll be visiting again very soon. read more

I went scootn down on to Cowtown in the wifes Kia tonight. Parking was a breeze. Went in and had the whole store to myself to browse around for a few specifics. I needed pants with no belt loops, a button up shirt with no collar and a civil war style hat; I have this idea to get into some cowboy single action shooting and before i buy the guns i figured id get some clothes to break in. I have been researching new boots for a year now while my current boots slowly disintegrate. I have been online and visited a few different Boot Barns and left disappointed. I came to Cowtown tonight in a rush before they closed. I was greeted immediately and a few times by different staff members. I walked over to my size isle and popped my boots off and started trying on some new styles. I needed an all black boot that I could wear at work. I have worn my current boots (Tony Lama) almost everyday for the last 4 years, so I needed something comparable. While one of the guys who worked there watched me suspiciously another came and stood at the end of the isle and talked with me about my tattoos and and asked me what I was looking for. He was super knowledgeable, and understood what I was my needs were. As I paced the isles trying to figure out what size would work, he showed me a pair. I put them on and walked over to the mirror. They were about as close and comfortable as I was gonna get to my old ones. I told him I'd take them and I'd wear them out since I put in so much effort just to get my swollen work feet into the boots in the first place. He kindly cut the tags off and rung me up. It was a quick and pleasant experience. In retrospect, they may have thought I was going to run out with the boots and leave my old ones. Maybe that's why I was getting so much help or maybe, just maybe they are that kind at Cowtown boots. read more
