Stopped by through word of mouth to explore great deals. The store is located in a sketchy area with limited parking. Footwear selection for the entire family. Although advertised as the $2 store, most items were $7.99 and higher. We did find bedazzled slippers for $3.99 and the rest of our purchase was $15.99 per pair. Most of the footwear selection matched the bargain websites that have become popular for their pricing. There are no name-brands, only copies. There is a staff at every corner of the store. Security is visible throughout. Check out was simple and pleasant. We were treated friendly and help was offered. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab an inexpensive shoe. I have shopped here for years and never took shoes back for exchange. The one time that I had to take shoes back, 2 days after purchasing them, I was told that I could not exchange them because they were used. I explained that I had only tried walking in the shoes and they were too uncomfortable. They were extremely dismissive and rude. They allowed another women to exchange with black marks on the bottom of the shoes. I will never shop there again. They treated me less than a customer for shoes that cost $11. Affordable shoes for when you need something quick! They do lie on their advertising. The shoes don't last long based on my experience. They have hand written signs, read them if not ( even though they're placed on the chairs people sit on) the "security guard" is a bit mean. You can't try on both shoes and walk. Basically you get what you pay for ! Also be careful, the rugs aren't deeply cleaned. It's not tile, so the rug can collect bacteria. Just a precaution. She took all my shoes from the chair that I was trying on, she took them away  just because I went next to the chair to take another shoes and the store policy is to have the shoes inside box all the time with you, BUT not carts or carry baskets to help you out.    She didn't let me take a picture to show my family . Well the name of the store is a bit misleading, but that's marketing for you. They have a few flip flops and slides that are $1-$3. This place is a sh*t show if I must say. Shoes and boxes everywhere, very unorganized, no one helps you when you do ask for help. Good luck finding your size or the mate to your shoe. Shoes can only be tried on at the front of the store, and trust me they're watching. AND NO PIX. As your strolling down each long isle of shoes, you go thru the box below, find your shoe box that's in your size and take it to the front counter after you've done your shopping. They don't play around in here. There is security always watching, they check your receipt when your leaving. They want you to leave backpacks ect at the counter. I have purchased from this store in the past. I've never cared for their policies that treat customers like criminals as they enter the store. Today, I tried to return sneakers that I purchased last Saturday. I was within the 7-day "exchange only", no refund time frame. I purchased a size 9, that couldn't have been larger than a 7 1/2 despite the sizing on the shoe and on the box. I tossed the box with the others overfilling the waste basket outside of the entrance to make room in my overpacked carry bag, I'd been forced to surrender upon entering. Already hot about having to make a return trip that should not have been necessary, I was further insulted by the sales clerk that came to the front door to authorize the exchange. She told me the shoes were worn, I assured her they were not worn by me as I couldn't fit them. They were still brand new. I stood on line to speak with the manager ringing sales. She wasn't helpful either. She told me with much attitude, that it was my fault that I hadn't tried the shoe on. I disagreed. She refused the refund and may as well have turned her back. I assured her I would be writing reviews and sharing my unfortunate experience in my social networking groups. I will not be setting foot back into the store for the following reasons: 1. I don't shop where I have to leave my bags at the front door or register AND then, show my receipt after walking the short distance from the register to the door. 2. The exchange only rule is problematic. I'd like a refund thanks. 3. If you offer service you must service the community respectfully. I don't care if the products are $1 or $5K. You can find such cute shoes in here especially if you're on a budget! They're a little weird about phone usage as well as their try on policy. All try ons must be by the door and you better hope a chair is open. There are a few full sized mirrors so that is a plus and you can walk around a bit to make sure the shoes are comfy enough. I stopped by today, and I soon as I walked in one of the employees (Maria) was fighting with a customer and screaming at her. The costumer left and Maria started talking all this things o front on everyone. Saying "they need to take care of they're fucking kids, fucking bitches". Minutes go buy and there's this lady with hey kid. They're measuring the kids shoes and since the grandma had already paid for them. The child's moms said that they didn't fit so if she could exchanged them for the same shoe just different size, (which they employees made a huge problem out of). The mom goes to find the shoe and Maria said "you know what, you can't changed them anymore. This is not my job for me to be watching your shoes" and the lady obviously got mad for the bad voice of tone Maria used and she talked back saying the that was her job and that no one asked her to guard her shoes. They went back and for until the lady went to the register and Maria kept talking back as she was walking away. Calling her all kind of names and the manager instead of cooling things off blame the costumer. This is not the first time this things have happened and honest this situation was bad but it can definitely get worst with other people. I will appreciate if the owner or company to take a look at all this and hire professional people. I wrote the following Yelp review in 2015. Looks like nothing has changed. I couldn't figure out the name of the store, but I guess fellow Yelpers have referred to this as "$2 Shoes". The best I could figure out was "$8.88". It really seems as if nothing has changed. And I thought this place was a "pop-up" that would be gone in a flash. Hah! Here's my review from 2015: We drove past this strip mall and saw this store front with huge yellow and black signs advertising shoes for $8.88! We walked in to see a large store with rows and rows of cardboard cartons containing boxes of shoes. Each carton was topped with a sample of one of the shoes for sale. There must have been hundreds of different kinds of shoes for sale. Shoes ranging in price from $14 to $2 with most priced around $9 to $12. Maybe 85% of the shoes were for women with the rest for men or kids. Most of the women's shoes were either towering platform heels for Vegas clubbing or flat fancy sandals. The wall behind the cash register had lots of shoes on display. The window facing the parking lot also had lots of shoes on shelves on display. Otherwise, the only other displays in the store are the rows and rows of cartons containing boxes of shoes. This store looked like it was going out of business and some liquidator had brought over tons of merchandise to sell during the going out of business sale. The displays looked like they were probably there when this location was an ongoing shoe store business. The shoes were of the type and quality that you see in smaller shoes stores. They were just a lot cheaper here. No big brand names here. For this price, you can't go wrong. Great selection too, especially considering the circumstances. We bought four pairs of shoes for less than $30. My receipt said the store name was "Free Running, Inc." One of the dozen huge signs out front did say "Free Running", but I have no idea what that means. As a broke college student with a very unhealthy shoe obsession, this place is like heaven! The prices are unbeatable and I've never seen such a large selection. I wish i would've had a shoe place like this in my home town because it would've been so much easier to find cheap homecoming & prom shoes to match my dresses!
