    pool was installed 4 years ago, started cracking, called the "warranty dept" 8-10 months out before someone could look at it. they did send a crackhead to put some chalk on it, which was comical because he got more chaulk on the pool than the crack.. a crackhead to fix a crack.. I ended up spending 20k to fix it because it started cracking everywhere. just ask around..

    Did a total renovation on my 13 year old pool. Transformed it from a nothing pool to a first class pool with fire bowls and water features.. Cox Pools did a great job.

Deveid, our tile/travertine guy took his time and communicated with us every step of the way. He made sure we were happy with his work. Sean was our sales guy, who was laid back and easy to work with, not pushy. Morgan, in the office, guided us through the design process and picking out the things we wanted with great patience...we changed our minds on things and she was so graceful. Jaxon was our project manager and did a great job of showing up, confirming we were pleased with the work being done and getting things moving along, taken care of through it all. The pool looks beautiful and we are quite happy with the work they did and the people we worked with.

    Blue Haven Pools & Spas is, without question, the worst company I have ever dealt with…read more I've built a 20,000-square-foot home and completed countless construction, renovation, and build-out projects over the years. I understand that delays can happen, but I have never experienced such poor communication, lack of accountability, and broken promises from any contractor. In June 2025, I paid a $48,600 deposit for a pool renovation. After signing the contract, I didn't hear from anyone for over a month. I repeatedly called and emailed before finally reaching someone, only to be told they couldn't start as originally promised. The project didn't begin until February 2026. My first project manager never provided a direct phone number--only an office extension where he was never available. For months, I left voicemail after voicemail and sent countless emails to him, the office staff, and the branch manager. Most of them went completely unanswered. Eventually, the branch manager contacted me to say my original project manager had left the company (or was fired). I was assigned a new project manager who at least answers his phone, but every conversation has been another promise with no follow-through. I still can't get firm dates or straightforward answers. To make matters worse, I was told I had to pay the remaining balance of the contract in full before the final phase of the project could be completed. I did exactly that over two weeks ago, and since then they've had a crew on-site only once. Back in February, I gave them a very reasonable completion deadline of July 1, giving them more than enough time to finish what is not a large or particularly complicated renovation. Instead, my project has sat completely idle for a combined total of at least two months. To make matters even worse, because of Blue Haven's repeated delays and poor project management, I was forced to spend another $2,000+ to upgrade the pool plaster simply so it could cure faster and be swimmable sooner. Because of these delays, I now have renters arriving and will likely have to let them stay free of charge because the pool is unusable. Instead of a finished renovation, I have a construction site. This company has shown a complete lack of professionalism, communication, scheduling, and customer service. I'm honestly shocked they're still in business.

We understand manufacturer defects. A week later we were scheduled for liner replacement on Monday. No show no call. Showed up Tuesday. New liner installed. Husband noticed the ball valves hadn't been installed. Texted Kevin I. Regards to our upgraded ladder still hasn't shown up & let him know about the ball valves. He said his guys did t have any in their truck during the install which was over 2 weeks ago. I guess they just weren't going to install them which are important for pool maintenance. The ladder situation- no upgraded ladder since I had texted Devin that we would order our own set of steps. Plus a pool bottom mat. I never received an acknowledgment on our request. So we assumed we would get the upgraded ladder still. I didn't order the set we wanted. My complaint or should say dissatisfaction with Syan pools would be lack of communication & not installing a completed piping system which was paid for. Hopefully Kevin shows up this week to install the ball valves as he stated. It Friday @ 5pm. So maybe tomorrow.

    We have used ASP for weekly cleaning service for about two years and we don't have much of anything…read moreto complain about as far as that is concerned. Brian (our regular pool maintenance guy) is great and knows what he is doing. That being said, we hired ASP for a pool resurfacing and deck refinishing/repainting job that was supposed to be "two days" and it lasted for roughly 50 days. The job site was left filthy and the decking repair that was contracted out by ASP was a disaster. They used the wrong color, left footprints in the paint, trashed everything, and ruined my handrails during their 3rd clean-up process, scrubbing them so hard they rubbed the chrome off and left them scratched and rusty and then blamed us for it and said, "that's how they were when we started." A father-son duo even got into a fight in the middle of my driveway. This of course was unnecessary and freaked my little kids out as they heard the commotion from our living room. Fighting on the jobsite is a joke and should NEVER happen. I showed the owner of ASP pictures of the handrails prior to the cleanup process and I have yet to hear anything back. It has been another month so I guess we are out of luck as I was told at that time, "I don't know how to fix that." Additionally, the contractors that ASP hired to resurface the pool brought all of their children to the jobsite and hung on my gutters like they were doing pullups, ran around my drained pool like lunatics, and left trash in my backyard during their lunch. ASP did come out and clean it up after I provided pictures of the mess but none of that should have been allowed to happen in the first place. As far as the owner of the company is concerned, I specifically wrote him to NOT send anyone else out to my home and that I wanted to see and deal with him directly due to the extremely poor experience that we have had during the entire process. He has yet to step foot on my property and sent out other workers in spite of my requests. They only thing they have been prompt on is billing me $180/month for service, regardless of whether they come out to maintain the pool or not each week. If I was able to break up my star rating into two categories, I would. I would give BRIAN (the weekly service tech) 5-stars and I would give the actual company 1-star due to extremely poor professionalism and delayed completion of work. At this point, there is nothing left for me to do as they refuse to take responsibility for the damage done to the chrome handrails. I'm not sure our experience would be better with another company considering contractors seem to be hit-or-miss in this area but I do not recommend ASP for deck resurfacing or pool refinishing projects. I guess only time will tell as to whether or not the quality of the work will last. Recently, they have increased their price to $225/month for regular standard pool service. We had to part ways.
