Cox came out to investigate the crack and said it did not go into the foundation, but they never did a leak test? They therefore took no action and did not repair. the pool is leaking and sucking in air through the skimmer every 3 days, they will come out and address, but it will be 2 Years before they can come out! I am willing to engage another party to do a repair, but they say it will void my warranty! read more

We have a 5 yr old pool that had sprung multiple leaks. We contacted them as we have a lifetime warranty on the shell. They said it was an 8 month wait because they had several that were consteucted with faulty materials. Meanwhile we are required to keep it full to meet our responsibility to maintain warranty. When we got another leak and at the 8 month time frame, we called to inquire about time frame. They said another 6 months at least no real time frame. The leak has gottwn so bad that we are filling about 4 inches EVERYDAY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Unable to load photos. Convenient isnt it. read more

pool was installed 4 years ago, started cracking, called the "warranty dept" 8-10 months out before someone could look at it. they did send a crackhead to put some chalk on it, which was comical because he got more chaulk on the pool than the crack.. a crackhead to fix a crack.. I ended up spending 20k to fix it because it started cracking everywhere. just ask around.. read more

I am not one to post negative reviews, however, I must warn any customers about the Cox warranty. I had a crack in the sidewall after 2 years and they came out to look at it and said it was just the plaster. They never did a leak test when they visually checked. My pool pump then proceeded to fail as a result of continued water loss. I had my pool service company perform a leak/dye test and they determined there was a leak from the crack. When I informed Cox, they said they would put me on the schedule and cover it under warranty, but it will be approximately 2 Years before they can get to us! They followed up and said that we can pay to have someone else fix it, but they will not reimburse us and it will void our warranty! No wavering or willingness to work with me to figure out a solution. read more

The Salesman was great. The Service Department sucked. I don't know if they were always short-staffed or what, but we would call and call and hardly ever get a call back. We called in March or April, 2022 with a problem. They were supposed to come out the first of May; we never heard from them. We sold the house in July, 2022, so too late...... I would never recommend Cox Pools. read more

I wanted to update my review to warn other potential customers of Cox Pools. This is a update from my previous reviews regarding my new pool which was finished May, 2019. My pool is leaking again and loosing significant water each day. Cox Pools was notified about the pool leaking again about 3 weeks ago. To date, I don't know the source of the leak or the fix. Representatives of Cox Pools are suppose to show up to try to identify the problem and they don't show up or call. Unless you want poor workmanship, no communication with the owner, delays and a company that doesn't stand behind their expensive product, then don't use Cox Pools. I wish I could write a review concerning the quality and efficiency of the pool installation that Cox Pools did for me. Unfortunately, that review will never be forthcoming. I have called on three separate occasions requesting an estimate. Each time I called, someone took all my contact information and told me they would pass it along to one of the sales people. I have yet to hear from anyone from Cox Pools and this has been going on for over two months. If they are to busy to take on new business, they could at least be courteous enough to call and let me know. read more

This is my first yelp review EVER and I'm not one to complain. Absolutely DISAPPOINTED with COX pools. Pool done 6 months later than promised. Destroyed our entire rental season ---- Sad to write this one star review. Cox pools was seemingly promising when we started working with them, but ended up being horrible to work with. Wish I would've checked Yelp before as I see many others have had the same issues we faced. The pool was done 6 months (!!!!!) later than promised, totally destroying our rental season and creating a mess in our yard that was untouched for months. Months would pass and I wasn't even able to get in touch with anyone over the phone to even get an update. Extremely extremely frustrating!! Hoping to let HOA know to warn people about using them. Love our pool. Cox Pools salesman Ben is very knowledgeable and was very responsive to our questions/concerns throughout the whole build and even beyond. The staff from front desk to maintenance has been great. The plastering could be a bit more level on a few areas, but nothing serious. The water tile was installed very carefully. Any issues/concerns were addressed & promptly corrected. I would warn anyone whose home or fencing is close to the pool, make sure the plastic barrier completely covers top to bottom and is taped down on all 4 sides, as the mist from the gunite spray carries in the air. Brett came to the house and conducted our pool school. Very knowledgeable, patient and informative. We opted for the Hayward OmniLogic controller with WIFi and are happy with it. We did end up putting a wireless mesh system in our home to get a better WiFi signal to the Hayward Transceiver outside. We also screened in the pool. Ben worked with us and the screening company to make it a smooth process. Highly recommend Cox Pools. The pool was completed on time and we even had to shut down the build for a week when the COVID-19 restrictions first came out in March 2020. read more

I dropped in and filled out a contact form almost 2 months ago and was never contacted. At the time, they said they would get back with me in 2 weeks. When I called back after not receiving a call, I did receive an apology and that someone would be back with me shortly. After another couple of weeks someone else did call, I emailed a lot plat and it has been over a week and still nothing. Absolutely disregards our service needs, after an expensive renovation job. They give you the run around, from one department to the other, because they have zero customer appreciation. One department either does not communicate with the other; or, they just tell you the other department did not inform them. It's a ridiculous, inconsiderate, irresponsible run-around. Just as an update to my previous review, pool plaster completed and pool filled on May 28th, at which time, it immediately began to lose water daily. Pool leaked 3-4" daily for 3 weeks. Leak detection finally arrived to locate leak in piping under deck which has now been repaired. Now all they need to do is address the dark streaking in the plaster as well as the black streaking in the grout. Attempt to repair plaster will disable pool for several additional days and grout will need to be replaced per Cox Pools. All this must be acceptable, however, Cox presented a "Completion Notice" for signature today?!?!? read more

Replacement of pool pump was done quickly and efficiently ... a bit too efficient actually lol cant get my chlorinator open to refill since my servicing but they were pleasant and timely. This is my second pool built by Cox pools. Though I did have some issues on my first pool. With this pool the installation was completed in a timely manner and the work completed was exceptional. Neal Boyce did an excellent job of setting up all the subcontractors on the job. He was receptive and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, a pleasure to work with. A+ service. If I move again I will definitely use Cox Pools. . I'm not leaving this pool! read more

Cox Pools installed a pool for us a couple of months ago and the process was not pleasant. It took longer than should have been and that they predicted. We would be working at the house for weeks without seeing anybody there working. And communication with them was not satisfactory either. Everytime I complained, they reminded me how many pools they build; they didn't care I was upset or worried at all. But, not only the process wasn't pleasant, their customer service afterwards is even worse! I have been on a waiting list to fix my chlorinator for 3 weeks! Everytime I call, they say iI have a ticket on the list and it should take a couple of days but nothing. I was also told they had to print my ticket twice because the technicians might have missed it. Meanwhile, the choline in my pool is still not working. Think twice when hiring them. It will take you double what they predict to get your pool installed, and it will take you forever to get their help. read more

I would leave a minus star if it were possible. They have no regard for customer service, do not respond to repeated repair requests and clearly have no intention of ever doing so.
