    Line dancing lunatics
    Dana L.

I was visiting my sister from LA and am from this area originally. I thought the atmosphere, line dancing crazy people were fantastic. Despite some of the negative reviews I read about the bar staff and security, the service was totally fine, the security was friendly. I had no issues here at all and had a great time having a few drinks in my own. The area out back with the water is cool and I liked the food truck detail and billiards option. I'm giving this place 5 stars not only because I was entertained and had a great time, but...I watched as a police officer circled the parking lot when I left abd the bouncers rushed out to coax a drunk guy not to drive drunk. Most likely, they saved somebody's life and prevented a DUI. Mad respect for that alone as I've never seen that and it was above and beyond what I've seen and expected from a security team or establishment like this.

We had the pumpkin soup, chili & Mac/cheese and it was amazing!

Fabulous!!! Exactly what we all need as we head into the autumn of COVID Fully outdoor bar and food truck experience, complete with onsite Blake's cider mail shop: pumpkins, donuts, cider, pies, etc We are coming back tomorrow to try another of the food trucks. Today we bought from The Soup Lady: pumpkin soup with pretzel bite topping ($5) and chill/Mac & cheese combo ($8). Both were like your grandma made them!!!! So good!!!! I spent $61 on things I didn't need from the Blake's tent but I never pass up an opportunity We had the dogs in the car so I carried everything out but it is just lovely with the river view, haybales, patio tables and umbrellas! Love it And we took a great walk along the river trail beforehand as well Coming back tomorrow for taco truck or pizza and bar service! Really nice ppl working as well. Food trucks take cash or Venmo. Blake's takes cards. Wear a mask unless you're seated! (Don't be a jerk and make them tell you that.. they didn't create the state mandate)

The premier place for country music and line dancing. Food is ok. The place for young adults that like this kind of fun.

Fun bar to go to, especially when they have live music. Fun on the weekend. Lots of OU students.

No stars. The ratio is terrible, and the service is the worst. Do not recommend coming to this absolute sh*t hole.

From the team that brought you Apt Disco, comes a downtown subterranean dance club, Low Key. True…read moreto the name, it's definitely low key compared to more glitzy and garrish clubs (e.g. Boogie Fever): it's dark and it has a nice cement dance floor. There's also ample space to sit and it's accessible as they have an elevator, though most people would just take the stairs. The drinks are well priced for downtown but if you're looking for a specialty cocktail, this is not the place. I usually just get a vodka soda and add a lemon packet to it. Bonus points that they have American Vodka as a well if you, like me, would like to never drink Tito's again. It would be wonderful if they could stock the Deep Eddy flavors, save me from having to bring flavor packets. Last night they did have a speciality cocktail, a take on a Bees Knees, which was good, though a little sweet for me (my friends who like sweet really liked it). Because it's downtown, I don't go as often as I would to a neighborhood place. Also, only open Fridays and Saturdays. Check their insta to see what's going on, we've been here a couple times for Disco Daddies but they have DJs usually. While Detroit has no shortage of dance clubs, Low Key occupies a very specific space and vibe so it's well worth visiting regularly. See you on the dancefloor!

Music wasn't good. We went there to try and find a better club and it just wasn't the vibe. ‍read more

I went here two nights ago (Saturday) with my friends and here's the kicker: It was my first time…read moreclubbing. I was very nervous (although I already had a couple drinks in me) and did not know how I.D. checking and cover fees were done. There was no line when we got there (around 11:35). My friends just explained it very simply to just show your I.D. to the bouncer and he'll issue you inside the doors that will lead you up to a desk. At this desk, a $5 cover fee is taken and they gave you a ticket then you go up a few more stairs and give said ticket to one of two guys. It was about 11:40 when we got inside and it wasn't overwhelmed with people yet. 1 being no one/handful of people and 10 being packed I can barely move, it was a 7 at that point? My friends showed me around the club (thank goodness!) and I was impressed how nice it was. Check their website to see the interior. I'll be honest. It kind of smelled like feet for a bit. But after a lot more people came in and we started dancing, the smell was gone. I have never danced 'club-like' aside from in my room so although the drinks I had before made me not so inhibited, I still needed to get another drink. My friend showed me how to order at a bar which was very nice of her. She recommended an amaretto sour which was fantastic but was $5.50. One of my friends had to physically move my body from guys that appeared behind me while I was dancing. After the night wore on, I was more alert but still had fun. I had one guy who had the audacity to put his hands on my hips and I shoved them off and kept dancing. He did this two more times. If it wasn't for the fact I didn't want to ruin anyone's night, I would've elbowed him in the nuts so fast. The V.I.P. sections were cool and the lounge area was nice. I was happy to know that the bar didn't charge for small bottled water. Also, my friend grabbed us some free sandwiches the club was handing out around 1 A.M. The music ranges from popular pop, techno, a bit of urban and the like. The DJ did make some bad transitions a few times which caused almost a minute or so of silence but it was still good. I experienced first-hand that strobe lights in person are much worse than in movies. Ouch. We went to Bull N' Barrel after and I realized that 29 Park isn't for beginner clubbers but it exposes you to it all right away which is great. I'm happy my first experience was 29 Park though and I do plan on going back!
