He offered a great deal but I was not ready yet. Called back a week later and asked if the deal was still valid and he said yes. As I do not have a lot of time to waste, I asked if he can have all the paperwork ready and I was surprised it was. It took a few minutes on location to sign and drive. Excellent staff and got no pressure but the deal was too good to pass up. Fully recommend this team. Called to ask about test rides because their website shows a whole lineup of Yamaha motorcycles with a "request test ride option" which would lead one to believe that they do indeed have Yamaha motorcycles. Guy answered, I asked my question, very condescendingly told me that they don't carry Yamaha motorcycles anymore. I said no problem and tried to explain the website makes it look like they do so they could update it. Tells me I'm looking in the wrong place and acts like I'm an idiot for seeing a Yamaha motorcycle online, and calling to ask about a test ride. Also did the ownership "my store" thing so either is the owner and a total jerk, or a regular employee with a huge chip on their shoulder. Wouldn't buy a bike, come here for MX, or order parts from them after this experience and reading the other reviews. There's better out there read more

I called on a Thursday and nobody in Service answered the phone. I called the next day and was abandoned on hold. What kind of place ignores a cash-paying customer during a cold Denver winter? they got lucky I can't give a half star ended up bringing my bike to get service. they went ahead and "replaced the whole clutch" everything brand new. but when finishing the job they proceeded to call me and ask me to come in. long story short their was a tick that they said "its coming from the engine" gave me a new diagnosis that ran the check up to 369$ usd. that's where I drew the line and took my bike to vickery motorsports. they took the bike in did my diagnostic for the "tick coming from the engine" charged me 130$ usd came to find out that the clutch was installed wrong and parts inside where messed up after paying 2660$ usd. overall bad service. read more

Looked up Coyote Motorsports as an option for service and parts for my KTM 350 exc-f. Called this morning at 10am when they open and spent 13 minutes total, between three different calls to parts, on hold. The third call was answered and immediately hung up on. Fourth call I selected "for all other" from their switchboard and finally got a guy in sales. He went and talked to the parts department who took the call. They didn't have the part or oil I needed and were rude on the phone, after I waited on them, for 13 minutes. Won't be taking my bike anywhere near that place. read more

Find another shop to fix your Yamaha or be prepared to continuously call to make sure they are working on your bike or they will probably forget about it. I had my Yamaha Bolt serviced by Coyote and the gas tank needed to be replaced along with some other annual work. Took them over two weeks just to order the parts. The service manager told me the owner was going to court with Yamaha and they didn't receive any parts from Yamaha for over a month. I'm not sure how true this was because this manager was fired or quite I was told two different stories. I continuously called just asking for updates and not until I asked to speak with the owner did anything ever get done. The owner never contacted me. I was promised a deal for all the inconveniences. (Never happened.) They received the wrong tire and tried to make me pay for over night shipping. When they ordered a new gas tank they never ordered the low fuel sensor because they thought they could use the one out of the rusted old gas tank that two mechanics specifically told me was one of the worst they ever saw. They had hopes that a small sensor that sits at a very low spot would be reusable? I spoke with 2 different people that said they would order the sensor and they would install for free. I go to pick up the bike, no one has ordered the sensor and they don't offer me any discounts for the many errors on there side. They want me to pay an additional $80 for the part and maybe they will install it for free? I contacted a Yamaha parts dealer and all of my parts were over charged. One example was they charged me $600 for the gas tank when I could have ordered it through partzilla for $540 after tax and shipping. Now I have two different keys, 1 to start my bike and one to open the gas tank. My gas light is flashing and won't stop until I get this part fixed. They only have 1 mechanic working there and he is also in charge of answering the phones, ringing people up, and working on bikes. He did an amazing job but I watched as three other employees relaxed as he busted his but taking care of me. My best advice would be to take your business else where. They will not own up to a simple mistake, don't trust them when they say they will call back, and finally don't trust the original estimate for time or money spent. read more

Took my bike there to get new tires put on and usually I pull the rim and just give them that but this time I didn't have time. I come back to get it and they say oh your bike was running rough when we started it and then we tried to start it again and got it and now it won't start. So I told them well when ya get it to start call me and I left. Their General Manager/ OWNER Brian root or what ever his name is calls and says get your bike they only changed the tire and we never even started it. LIEEEEE!!! Two of their employees and their tech said they did. Sooo angry I turn around and the little fuck left for the day. Shocker. I ordered a part from Coyote. It took over a month to get it. When it came in, it was the wrong part. I took my atv in for service twice. The first time there was loose hardware that wad not tightened to specs. When I brought this to the mechanics attention, I was insulted. The second time I left the Atv there for a week to have 2 repairs performed. One repair they said was fixed. It still was not working. The second repair they said they did not know how to fix it. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I wish I could give zero stars. The sales service here is horrible, especially if you're BIPOC. Went in to pay cash for a Yamaha as a Christmas gift. When we walked in, several employees walked by us without even greeting us. We walked around for a bit, again not a single person acknowledged us. Finally, we walked up to the parts area and asked for someone from sales. The guy said he would call someone but never did. We continued to wait, then a young White couple walked in with zero intention to buy, but one of the salesmen hopped up immediately and greeted them. Ten minutes later, another salesperson who was hanging around in his office got up from his desk, saw us standing there and then pretended to be looking for something, trying not to make eye contact with us. He finally decided to come out of his office. At this point, we're already frustrated. We've been waiting for at least 45 minutes to be helped. He senses this and starts copping attitude, saying that everyone is just busy. Okay, fine. He pulls a piece of paper, asks us to fill it out. We do, then wait some more. The man who we were making this purchase for calls, and we tell him how horrible the service has been, so he calls to complain. The guy comes back and says he won't sell the quad to us because he doesn't want to get a bad review and feels we already don't like them. It's true, we don't. We've been sufficiently disrespected at this point. But, they're the only dealership that had this particular item. After some arguing, we agree to move forward and make the sale. Then, the salesman who hopped up to help the White couple starts in, reigniting the frustration. Instead of apologizing or trying to be understanding of our frustration and moving forward, they make more excuses for their poor services and then say they don't want to sell to us. After some more arguing, we leave; no sale. When we explained that we had been ignored and that the service had been subpar, all they had to do was say was "We apologize, what can we do for you?" Or better yet, when we walked in, all a salesperson had to do was give us a wave, and say, "We're all helping other customers right now, we'll be with you as soon as we can." For the record, only one other "customer" was in the store when we walked in; it was a family of six. Moral of the story, don't shop here. read more

Went in here to get a new bike. Wanted to trade in my KTM xcf for a Yamaha WR and they had the bike I wanted so I was definitely going to buy it. Parts guy(nice &helpful guy) helped me out but said I had to talk to the sales guy. I left after standing around for 15 minutes without 1 person talking to me. Had an older guy staring from a desk by the front door but didn't get up to help. Waited for the other guy and then stood 5 ft from him without either saying a word to me. I really wanted the bike they had in stock but jees fellas. Felt very awkward so I chose to take my business to their competition and I won't go back. I went home, tried to fit everything & found out that BOTH parts did not fit. 5 hours wasted. After they reordered some new parts upon returning the wrong parts, they told me that they would call me within a week or two for the parts. 6 weeks went by. I called them up and the associate told me that the same day I called, was the same day that both my parts came in. These guys totally yank you around. It's not worth your time or money. The guys at CM are the best. First off they took a bike I was upside down on my loan and allowed me to use it as collateral on a new bike.; no other dealership would even consider this. Secondly, they accepted a post - dated check on modification work done on the bike I purchased-in addition to a whole host of other accommodations. My experience with Coyote ranks among the highest I have experienced. First, the customer service was superb. They made sure my wife and I were fitted for the bikes that met our needs. All technical questions were answered to our satisfaction. Second, the prices were better than all the places we went to. Third, the bikes we purchased have held strong through all the conditions we have put them through. Fourth, we left there feeling that we received excellent value. Fifth, the owner gave us his personal guarantee, backing his bikes 100% and has since followed through with his word by answering every question we have had. Lastly, we enjoy our dirt bikes so much that we are returning this weekend to pick up a 2012 Super Tenere. There is no other place we would trust to give us the value we received at Coyote. This review is also in regards to the service department. We took in our two ATV's and asked for a full service on both, some minor repairs for one, and a new battery for the other. We made an appointment ahead of time and showed up on time for our appointment. We were informed upon our arrival that they were very behind schedule, overbooked, and understaffed and that they didn't have time to even look at our ATV's for a few days... I really don't understand why this couldn't have been relayed to us before we made the 1.5 hour trek down from Park County. What is the point of making an appointment for service if they can't be kept? This shop had both of our machines for THREE WEEKS. They broke multiple promises to have the service done before pick up. We were lied to and pushed aside multiple times. The kicker when we got there.. neither ATV's were serviced! One was bone dry of any oil and the other had a dirty filter and oil still in it. Though to be fair they did fix some minor issues on the second machine. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a shop. Seriously three weeks to get a new battery installed. Three weeks. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. read more

TL;DR: I had an oil fill cap stolen from my motorcycle while going cross country and Coyote Motorsports opened their doors on a day off to help me out. I recently completed a motorcycle trip across country from MD to CA and back. When I was headed back East, I stopped in Denver on a Saturday and planned to leave early Monday morning to be back home at work the following Monday. On Sunday, I went to the Northfield Shopping Center to go see a movie at the Harkins. I came out and go to start up the bike and out of the corner of my eye I see something wrong: my oil fill cap is missing! I jump off the bike and am looking all over for spilled oil, the cap that might have fallen off, or any signs of tampering. I hadn't touched my cap since the last oil change in TX and I was wearing light grey pants so I know there was no way that it had just come loose or I would have had oil all over me riding from my hotel on the other side of the city with the bike running hot. There wasn't a drop of oil to be found on the rim or sides of the oil case and the cap was also no where to be found searching the entire parking lot route which I had come by. The only logical conclusion is that someone decided to take it because they either needed one themselves or just wanted to inconvenience me. I spent hours waiting for the police to come and file a report before I started the bike up for fear that whoever stole the cap might have also put something in the oil case. I wanted witnesses so the insurance company didn't burn me. While I waited, I looked up Yamaha dealerships in the area but every one of them was closed on Sunday and then again on Monday. I had no luck calling them either. The cops came and with a little duct tape, I was able to start the bike without issue and ride back to my hotel. Oil was bubbling out from under the tape so I became discouraged that I would be stuck in Denver for another day or so with the hotel bills and the need to rush back home when the bike was repaired, since there was no way to make it even to Colby, KS without a bunch of extra oil. I sent out Facebook messages to all of the dealerships when I got back to my hotel and only two responded. The first told me that they were going to be closed until Tuesday but were happy to help me out then, the other, being Coyote Motorsports, told me "We're not open tomorrow, actually no dealers are but I can make a special trip for you and come in." I replied and Brian, the owner/general manager, came to my rescue. He had just the part I required and asked if there was anything else I needed to get me on my way. His respond was yes but he shouldn't be due to his shift was over. He than proceed to answer some of my questions and when I told him I was ready to finance the atv he said no, since the store would close in 45 minutes and paperwork would take longer than that everyone was getting ready to go home. I went in just over a month ago to get a replacement light bulb for my side marker lights, and was charged $6 for one tiny bulb. I figured it was supposed to be a special order type bulb or something. Turns out there was an issue with my light housing so I went back and bought another bulb- they sold me 2 bulbs for $5 this time. Inconsistent pricing. The second time I went in, I was really irritated with the helmet I was using, and wanted to get another one. I had them size me, told me what size to get, and bought that size. They only have one kind of helmet there. They're all very low cost and high profit. Especially when you get horribly overcharged as I did. I paid $250 for what I was hoping was a high quality helmet. Come to find out this helmet is only worth $125-150 everywhere else. Now one month later, the helmet is completely falling apart, and they won't look at it, won't exchange it. I will admit, they were very nice when I came in, but such is the life of a salesman, I suppose. read more

Sales must be good. I never met a more RUDE, vulgar salesperson than I did today at Coyote Motorsports. A friend was looking at a bike, that has a Kelly Blue book of $6,500, Bike is listed on Coyote Motorsports web page at $7,500 The salesperson said the price was $7900 The bike has been down and missing lights etc very under average condition. I will never spend another cent at Coyote Motorsports EVER again. This is why sales people have bad reputations. Shady business practices! I dealt with "Shaggy" the salesman. They posted a motorcycle trailer on craigslist for $1500, and even pointed out in the ad "No City Tax at Coyote saves you money!"... only to find out later that they tack on a "doc" fee of $300 (NOT mentioned in the ad whatsoever). At first, the slick talking salesman tries to make this fee seem mandatory by the state, but I know better, and when I called him on it, he "clarified" and said it's mandatory that "if he charges one person the fee, then by law he must charge everyone." I see why this place has the reviews it does. read more

Bought a new FZ09 from these guys this year. Sil gave me the low-down without a hard sale, answered all my questions, was super knowledgeable. He understood I was a little nervous about buying my first bike and even took time to walk me through a minor mechanical issue when I killed the battery a few weeks later. Financing was easy and cheap, and when I had one minor issue, they fixed it, no questions asked, immediately. They've got great gear, and again, no pressure to buy stuff I didn't need.
