Started servicing scooters like Segway electric scooters. Needed a tube tire replacement. They would have charged for keeping the scooter there. We took it with us. We put a deposit down. A week later we called to see the status of the tube. They forgot to place the order. Another week and we called back. They were unable to get the tube. So we did not achieve our goal of getting it fixed. They said we can order the tube ourselves and bring it in for fixing. And they did not offer the deposit back. It was like 20$. It is undetermined if I will return. I like to support local businesses. Maybe once they get their electric scooter plan fully implemented I can try again. read more

I just purchased a scooter and needed a general tuneup and also a tire replacement for my back tire. Bobby was super helpful throughout the whole process. He showed me a couple things on the scooter that was very informational and broke down the price point of what's going to be assessed and done to the scooter. I took it in around 1:30 in the afternoon and he told me it would be done in roughly 2 hours which was spot on. I was relaxing in a coffee place nearby so I wasn't too far. After walking a short distance, I was back at Sportique and I mentioned how I wanted a basket for the back. We went through lots of options and I was able to select one that would fit for me. I also purchased a helmet face covering for my smaller helmet that I haven't been using. Definitely walked out a happy customer. 10/10 read more

Brought in a $600 custom wheel told them to please be very careful waited on these rims for 3 months. He brought me my rim out with a broken valve stem which isn't a standard valve stem. Then told me he didn't have one and I could go down to the part store to see if they have one that will fit. (Not my job) Super nice people just don't trust them with simple task. Now I'm out money trying to find a new valve stem that fits and now my wheel might have to be drilled out. UPDATE since they wanna try to still over explain their absurd prices as if we didn't get the same service somewhere else for almost half the price here's a nice detailed version of what happened then my wife and i have a 2009 buddy international italia. my wife brought it in, requesting a routine oil change, we also needed new mirrors and tires. we have white wall tires on our scooter, so we were only interested in keeping those. i get a text from my wife saying that they were charging $750 for everything and claimed we also needed the panel where the switches are replaced (we did not need this replaced at all) obviously this is an insane price for the things we needed done. so i told her to say no and take the scooter home, while i called the shop to get a breakdown on the prices. i said everything we needed done to the scooter and told them i'd like a breakdown, from there all i got was over explanation after over explanation about how they charge different prices for different tires and the labor depends on everything and whatever the hell his tangent was about. just to be told the tires BY THEMSELVES were $350, after i said no thank you i would take my business elsewhere he got snappy and said he 'had no idea of any other place in the area that even had white wall tires' i've been in car sales for over 3 years and the entire phone call just felt like trying to be sold on a service he KNEW was overpriced. if you charged accordingly i wouldn't need an explanation as to why the price is so high. do you guys also give those over explanations to all the men that come in to your shop? or do you assume they know what the prices should be? so with that being said, Erico Motorsports in Rino most definitely had white wall tires and for less than $200 including installation. got our oil change, new tires and mirrors, AND got a new belt and pullies for less than $500. who knows how much sportique would've charged us for that, might've had to sale a kidney! sportique is an absolute joke, as avid scooter riders that just recently moved to colorado. we will never in a million years recommend this place, they need to get some morals in place, because word of mouth is real! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Spoke with the owner about doing a full restoration on an old Vespa and his originally quoted me $2,500 "or a little more," after having explained that I wanted them to completely take apart the entire Vespa so that I could have it painted somewhere else and then have him put it back together. I explained I wanted to understand what that meant and if he could guarantee his portion of time & materials at $3,000. He then gave me the run around for 5 minutes and finally pressing him on a fixed price, he wouldn't guarantee a price, saying these jobs could cost $10k - $12k (including the $2,500 - $3,000 for paining). Every team member I met was extremely courteous and professional, with special recognition to Bobby (service manager) who gave me a LOT of time to help make informed decisions and even called to provide service updates; Adam (along with Bobby) who provided tons of great and useful information on vintage scooters I was seeking; and Preston, a star mechanic, who installed a 70cc kit in my wife's Buddy in no time (performs amazingly now!) and who diagnosed and fixed a long-time steering issue on my GTS300. My initial call was to get a scarred wheel lug replaced And have the bead re-done. They said it might take extra time and I agreed to a new rear tire only. Time from drop off to text of work done: 40 minutes. Total cost, $200. I complained, and the same guy responded with a small discount, but never followed through. I will be honest, this is going to be a difficult review for me to write. I bought a scooter in April, used off of Craigslist. The scooter was in great condition and ran perfectly for a few months. In June, I started to have issues with the scooter. It wasn't always starting. Come July, it wasn't starting at all. Called the shop, got my scooter picked up, and brought to the store. My scooter was fixed with a new battery. The staff was overwhelming confident in their replies to my questions and explaining what they had found and fixed. I would say arrogant, but you'll have to continue to read the rest of the review as to why I state 'overwhelming confident' instead. The next morning, my scooter did not start. I was livid, to be honest. I called into the store, and Collin spoke to me. The overwhelming confidence came out, and was off-putting to me. He did, however, offer to come over to my place and help me with my scooter when I returned home later in the day. (I truly want to point this out as while I was annoyed with our discussion, I was very impressed with Collin wanting to take every step possible to correct any issues - if I could highlight, I would highlight my last sentence.) Throughout the day, I was just annoyed with the whole thing. I honestly didn't even want to call into the place and deal with the staff. I came home, and tested out my scooter. It started on the third try. Hooray! I still called, and spoke with Collin. The discussion didn't begin well, and I pointed out how arrogant Collin was coming across to me. After a few comments back and forth, Collin asked to start again. A very professional move on his part, and we had a very nice discussion. A very professional, nice, and not demeaning at all discussion about my scooter and ways to start it when I am having issues. I truly know the staff here knows their stuff, and have heard nothing but great things about this place. Employees exude a mix of negative snobbiness and condescension (so weird for people who are into scooters, which are so much fun). They are very vague about the terms/conditions of their service (many stories about people being up-charged when they go to pick up their scooter from having service performed). I would also caution anyone from buying parts from them without shopping around on their own (you WILL be significantly up-charged). It's a shame they get so much business by default since there is not much competition in town. I hope this changes in the near future. Most of the good reviews are from people who bought new scooters and are understandably excited. Those who have more experience with them know otherwise. read more

!!!Please read!!! Cliff notes version of my story: I bought a scooter off fb marketplace and a week after purchase it didn't start. I took it in and (for a pretty penny) they tuned it up and said it would run the rest of the summer. It didn't start again a week later... I took it in and told them EXACTLY what was wrong and what needed to be fixed (my dad is a mechanic who checked out the engine but left town before he could fix it) they failed to replace any of the specific parts I asked them to replace ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS!!! 3 times I gave them my scooter, it was running when I got it back (because they took a cheap alternative to part replacement) and then it would fail to start again a week later. I will say they took the scooter back the extra two times and made it run again (even if it was only for a week) free of charge. But if they knew what they were actually doing I would have only been in there once. Don't waste your time, energy, and money! You're better off finding someone on fb marketplace who fixes these up in their garage. read more

so here's my story: in May of 2014, I was hit while riding my scooter...a hit and run. I finally retrieved my scooter from the impound lot in December...and decided to take it down to sportique to get an estimate on what it would take to fix it. I was sure it was mainly cosmetic and mostly body work. either way, I was very succinct about what I wanted....an itemized list of all parts and labor to restore my genuine Stella back to her glory. the service manager took one look at it And simply stAted that the frames bent...didn't even crouch or stoop or anything to come to that conclusion...just a simple statement of fact in his opinion. so I leave it there anyway to have the estimate done and a few days later get an email stating that the frame was bent but for $2500 they would take the frame from another scoot and put it on mine. when asked about everything else they had no reply. so...I went and got it...And was met with probably the coldest attitude and demeanor I believe I have ever experienced when dealing with a business. it is my opinion that they were truly trying to hustle me...by either allowing me to sell it to them at scrap pricing or to pay outrageously to have the bare minimum done. since that time I have it running and took my Stella out for a spin...and guess what? rolls as smooth as ever! no bent frame whatsoever!! nice try guys...but your hustling skills are about as poor as your service skills!! read more

On March 28, 2018, I purchased a used 2001 Vespa ET2 50 with 6,900 miles for $1,500 from Sportique Scooters. They had installed a new battery, new grips, new mirrors, a new spark plug, and new tires. The scooter runs really well and was a good deal. Sportique quickly replaced my exhaust gasket and kickstand for free when I brought the scooter into the shop thanks to the 90 day warranty. Over the last year, I bought a motorcycle jacket, gloves, a helmet, a lockable chain, a scooter cover, and a rain jacket here. All of the items were a fantastic deal because they were on sale. They serviced my scooter in the winter. When they gave it back to me the guy made a big deal of "hey that is weird we didn't give you any gas oh well we are out of gas right now here you go bye." But the reason I have to write this is because of an incident that happened to me where the very stars aligned to solidify sportique as a great place. I was riding home late when my scooter started to sputter and act up. I pulled up to a stoplight and she died completely and started spilling gas all over the road. Frustrated, I pushed it to the side of the road, wondering what to do and how I was going to get home. I'm not a superstitious person, but what happened next had me thanking my lucky stars. The OWNER of Sportique just happened to be driving by in a truck emblazoned in Sportique branding not a minute after I rolled my bike up onto the sidewalk. He very graciously loaded up my bike, gave me a ride home, and took my bike to the shop the next day. I was left scratching my head at how I got so lucky. Anyway, these guys have a customer for life. Hoping to have a better experience here for my second try at this shop from years ago it seems nothing has changed. I went in with unlimited funds for a total overhaul focusing on ignition and general maintenance overhaul. They seemed to be to short to take my request on what it was in for and when i finally was able to get across to someone what it was there they said it would take two weeks and fro me that was not a prob. I snowbird from az and decided to move back full time so the scooter needed a overhaul here. two stroke. after three weeks and calls asking for just an estimate for my client paying as a welcome gift the woman told me they will give me a price after the work is done. ok so i waited another week not knowing it was sitting outside in the backing sun unlocked and not covered. i finally got a text saying it was ready and stating after three weeks they saved me $200 and just made copy's of my broken key. reason i needed a new ignition. I have now been waiting for my ride, and tow fees. i was also told as the gas gage was on the concern that i dont need the gas gage to work i should just look under the seat to see if there's gas. to anyone who gets doorash please do not give me a bad review i may run out of gas doing you delivery. i cant gauge a 7 mile trip between orders by looking at the gas in my tank and shaking my bike. bottom line i took my scoot there for a total unlimited overhaul and it came back with more problems than i brought it in with. I was able to find another mechanic through my Moto connections and they were also rude to them. so don't fret if you have a bad experience here there are other people that work on scooters this is not the only place we can go. call around. read more

On July 6th, I brought my scooter in for a routine tune up. I picked up the scooter after it was done and Colin told me they had to put a new battery in the scooter which was fine with me. I paid the bill and drove off. About 3 weeks later, the scooter wouldn't start electrically and had to be kicked started. I spoke with Colin over the phone about the problem I was having and he said to bring it back in to make sure it wasn't a bad battery. On August 6th, I returned and left my scooter to be checked out for a potential bad battery. He thought it worked just great after testing it in front of the store and there was nothing wrong with it. I picked up my scooter later that day and was told the battery was not fully charged upon install and it was tested out to be a good battery. I drove away again thinking the problem was fixed. On August 16th, I experienced the same exact issue of not being able to start the scooter electrically. I had to bring the scooter back in for a 3rd time. Colin greeted me again with the same response after quickly testing it and said it works great and nothing wrong. I waited for the scooter to be checked out across the street and returned 45 minutes later. Colin told me they had initially installed a USED battery and now replaced it with a new one. But before I drove off, he wanted to make sure I was charged for a new battery the first time around instead of asking me, the customer, how can we make it RIGHT since you came here 3 times and we put the USED battery in while charging you for a new one. Nothing was done or even offered. I bought my first scooter from Sportique back in 2002 and have owned two since that time period. Great place. This is a one stop shop for everything involving scooters. Sales, service, and parts are all top notch. Wait times for service are kind of to be expected considering how many people trust this place to work on their scooters. Also, if they don't have what you're looking for you can be sure they'll find it. They also do a lot to promote "scooter culture" in Denver. They might come off as "overly confident" to some newer scooter riders but that's simply because they have so much in depth knowledge of every make and model of scooter. Having Sportique service my scooter (a 2003 Piaggio LT50) was a giant breath of clear day fresh air after the absolute miserable experience I had with Erico last year. Back to Springtime 2020, I took my scooter to Erico (where I bought it) because it was having problems starting. After 4 visits spanning 3 months and a repair bill of approximately $850 (included two new tires, approx $220), it still didn't start reliably at first and not at all shortly thereafter. Then, about a month ago (April 3rd), I thought I'd try Sportique. I'm glad I did! They repaired it quickly (4 days) and reasonably. They even added some gas to get me going since the problem was a gas line leak. Nice to be back to scooting around! read more

The employee driving very aggressively and yelling f-you out his windows at other cars while he ran a stop sign. The behavior from the sportique scooter truck was very terrifying and shocking that someone would behavior that way while representing a company.
