This place in downtown Glendale is absolutely stunning! I absolutely fell in love with the decorations. The owner is super friendly, and they have an area where they host events as well. Honestly, I am going to return to this place. Their coffee was delicious! And their pastries are pretty good too.

Service was smooth. Food was good! I got the twisted coyote (macchiato), which was pretty delicious. Ambiance was popping with colors! I enjoyed walking around and taking in everything. I also got their turkey sandwich which came with your choice of bread, provolone cheese, tomato, and lettuce. I added banana peppers and red chilis on as well with no extra charge :) Such a perfect way to start my Saturday morning!

I saw the viral Pumpkin Spice Latte in a pumpkin on Instagram and had to stop by to try myself. The shop itself is so adorable and full of old timey decor and knick knacks. I loved that so much. The place isn't big but they make do with lots of 2 seater tables and a few 4 tops. The staff was so friendly and although it was BUSY in there today they were super efficient. My pumpkin spice latte was so adorable + tasted delicious. Definitely coming back for some cookies next time!

Came here for the famous pumpkin spice lattes served in pumpkins and they did not disappoint! I loved how this got us in the fall mood. The lattes were amazing and when we didn't finish them, they employees offered to go cups and a bag for the pumpkin in case we wanted to carve them. Such a fun outing and would come back to this cozy cookie and coffee shop in downtown Glendale!

Wow! This is truly a one stop shop when it comes to food. So many options for desserts and meals. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and informative. I also really liked the antique decoration. I'd love to come again and try something else than what I've got. I think I got macaron and matcha!

Came here on a Saturday at about lunch time as my friend had seen the coffee buckets online. Well- they were buckets and had cute little charms on them but at $20 each it comes with its price. I did like that I could customize it say I only wanted it half sweet. I really enjoyed the strawberry matcha with oatmilk. It was so good. My friend got the white chocolate one and got it half sweet as well but it tasted a bit watery? So they graciously offered to replace it to the chai drink. We also ordered some meals- I ordered the SENora dog- not sure if the misspelling was intentional as Senora is spelled Sonora and ordered it with onion rings and my friend ordered the breakfast sandwich. They brought it out to us and the Senora hot dog came with some real bacon bits, diced tomatoes, and a chipotle mayo sauce. It was their take on the Sonoran hot dog that is wrapped in bacon and topped with cooked pinto beans, Pico and mayo. Instead of onion rings, they brought out the hot dog with fries but because we had pestered them about the drink- we didn't bother to correct it. It was actually really good! The hot dog seemed crisp, a bit charred (which is how they cook Sonoran hot dogs) and it was pretty big and as a chipotle lover- the chipotle mayo sauce gave it a good flavor. The fries were okay. My friends breakfast sandwich came out with two sandwich bread slices and bacon and egg and she said it was okay. After our meal- we opted for some cookies. I got the crancherry pecan dark chocolate and she got the butterscotch flavored one. The crancherry pecan chocolate cookie was amazing! Filled with cranberry cherries, pecans, dark chocolate and oatmeal- it was rich, sweet and a tiny bit crunchy. I would eat more if I could but the cookie was a good sized cookie. My friend also enjoyed her butterscotch cookie. Overall- the food was decent- I probably would not get the coffee buckets again and maybe opt for a regular coffee next time. I would return though for that cookie.

Everything about this place was great! I'd never explored downtown Glendale, and this place was our first stop. The coffee shop was decorated with lots of classic looking kitchen decor. There was also a connecting shop that had gifts and knickknacks for anyone you might need to buy something for. I was told by a regular to try the chai tea drink and it did not disappoint. It was perfect. I also picked out one of their huge, all natural ingredient cookies, specifically the s'mores and it was delicious and filling! This place had lots of baked goods to choose from. All of the staff were very friendly and we even got to talk to the owner Denise, who was so sweet! I cannot wait to come back here and try the other tasty looking treats.

From my wife: I had never been to downtown Glendale before but I had a little time while waiting for our son to finish at an event he was apart of. This shop is super cute and the staff were very sweet. I got iced tea and some cookies (to share). Everything I had was fresh and tasted great! A great spot for refreshments if you're going to explore downtown, there are some fun antique and vintage stores in walking distance too!

Have to try their cookies and pastries ! In love with them

This place is overrated a half a dozen of cookies for 20 something dollars they're crazy. I'd rather go somewhere else cheaper.

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

I had about a two-hour break during a track…read moremeet and noticed a small line forming outside this bakery in downtown Glendale--so I decided to go on a little adventure. This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Hopefully next time we go back, we can actually try things because they won't be put away!

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
