This is the place to go if you want your coffee fix and a nice treat! I went in to try their jalapeño cream cheese bread and it was delicious. I also tried their iced hazelnut latte with sea salt cold foam. The location was very clean and everything was organized. It's a grab what you want and take it to the counter to pay kind of place, which I enjoy. There are kiosks to order drinks too, but I just ordered at the front and the cashier was very helpful with taking my order. Will be back soon to try other things. read more

This bakery is awesome! I am familiar with them from the PNW and to my surprise they have one here. They have so many things to choose from. Most of their baked goods are original and so unique but my favorite it the Sweet Warth Bun!!! Omg I think I spelled that wrong but oh man it was so tasty. Soft, moist and deliciousness! I also got a tiramisu cheesecake and that was good very light and not too sweet. Yes they have Vietnamese iced coffee! One more thing so affordable!!!!! i went here cause i've been seeing the vietnamese coffee go viral on tiktok, as soon as i walked in and i wasn't greeted by any of the workers, i ordered on the kiosk which was easy to do, the place was clean, they have limited seating inside, when i got my coffee the worker just called my name and walked away immediately, and everyone working there just seemed to be in a bad mood, the Vietnamese coffee was good but not good enough to drive 20 mins out the way for again, the chocolate walnut muffin was insanely delicious and had like nutella filling inside, overall the food and drink options are great but the customer service is very lacking! read more

Visited on Thanksgiving morning. The business was busy with lots of customers, but unfortunately there was only one cashier working. Her working pace was slow and she even went to the kitchen to get gloves to pick up cakes, which made the line move even slower. With so many people waiting, we felt a bit frustrating. I'm so excited to have another great bakery on the west side. I stopped in shortly after it opened and happened to get a free reusable bag as I was one of the first people in that day. There was already a few things that were sold out shortly after opening. Not sure if they were not put out yet for the day or if they are restocked through the day. This is by far the smallest 85° Bakery I've visited, but it still manages to pack in a great selection of breads, a full drink menu, and a variety of cakes. We ordered our drinks via the self-serve kiosk, and they were ready in no more than five minutes, which was impressive. Inside, there are only three tables, so this isn't the best spot for studying or hanging out for long periods--it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place. The atmosphere was very clean and well-maintained, and they were consistently bringing out fresh bread, which was a nice touch. I tried the strawberry matcha drink, and while it was incredibly refreshing, I do wish the matcha flavor was a bit stronger. That said, it was still delicious and definitely worth trying! If you're in the mood for something quick and tasty, this location will do the trick. read more

However, they only have three tables and each time we were there a blonde female manager is occupying one of the tables taking it from a paying customer. So I was in the Peoria area and I wanted some tea and came across 85 bakery cafe, not even knowing it was so much more once I went inside! Pleasantly surprised and a little overwhelmed by all the bakery options to choose from and no explanation on what to do. I looked at other customers a saw that you get a tray and shop all the bakery items out then pay at register. Since I really wasn't in the mood for any tasty looking baked goods or dessert which was in a glass case, I used their self checkout screen and ordered an iced matcha green tea strawberry iced latte. The wait wasn't long because most people were getting baked items. The cafe is very cute with a few seating spots inside but mostly the seating is outside. My Matcha Strawberry latte was SO GOOD, it had pretty esthetic with green and pink and fresh strawberries at the bottom!! I will be back again and will be prepared for bakery shopping! My only gripe is that no one explained or helped me understand what they were and how to make the best of my first time there. read more

I told myself I wasn't going to spend a lot here and buy a bunch. So, that was a lie. Our total was less than $75, with the app you can get points and I got a free quarterly drink. Yasssss. I got the ham and cheese and my mini and I split it. There was ham, cheese and a dill sauce, on puff pastry topped with poppy seeds. I'm pretty sure there was something else but I ate it super fast. It was so good. So the Vietnamese iced coffee, it's always delicious no matter where you get it. But today I was tired and when I took a sip I felt like a video game character when they increase their health. 10/10. The tiramisu cheesecake was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet. I would prefer more coffee flavor but it wasn't still good. There is a ton of cocoa powder on top. When mini and I were taking bites, cocoa powder was falling off our forks everywhere. But, ‍, I've come to terms with being a little messy. Basque cheesecake is a small cheesecake treat I never skip. I'm one of those people that don't like cheesecake crust, so this is perfect for me. It's a cup of cheesecake and it's not super sweet and it's delicious. My go-to drink every time is the red grapefruit green tea, it's super refreshing, no matter the temperature outside. If you want a delicious breakfast bun to start your day, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. If you want protein, I recommend the bacon and cheese or the ham and cheese or the jalapeño cream cheese (it tastes like a bagel with cream cheese but softer). Yummmm. Solid spot! 85°C is always fun to pop into. Super cute setup, lots of drink options, and the bakery section always smells amazing. I got the matcha latte which looked beautiful, but the flavor didn't totally wow me. Still good, just not something I'd crave often. The bread was warm and cheesy and hit the spot. It's definitely a nice place to chill or catch up with a friend, and everything feels fresh and well put together. Service was nice! Just happened to drive by and notice this place, so we popped in to check it out. We got several items and EVERY SINGLE ONE was delicious. We took a few to go and I can't wait to try the cinnamon rolls tomorrow morning. The service was good. We were super happy to see this bakery open up in Arrowhead. We have known about this place since we visit CA frequently. The first visit we had bakery items but no drink. Today we ordered baker items (no issues) and several drinks. We ordered several Vietnamese coffees and the drink was more than halfway full with ice. So we basically got half a drink for full price. The picture says it all. The ice starts 1/3 up from the bottom and gradually moving up, the froth is all ice with no drink. This is unacceptable. I hope management trains their baristas better than this. I will definitely be back for bakery items but most likely will not order a drink. So Happy to have 85 Degrees in Glendale! Now can we get more locations please! (we drive about 30mins for this location but I guess its better than almost an hour to Chandler) We love the fresh bread and variety. From sweet to savory, there is something for everyone. The best is when the bakers come out shouting "Fresh bread" you know you've better pick whatever they are bringing out because it doesnt get fresher than that! Now lets talk refreshments. We love the sea salt series but they are on the sweet side for us so we usually go for 50% or 25% sugar. Its definitely nice you can customize the drinks to your taste. (we like strong bold coffee/tea flavors, hence less sugar for us) I also really enjoy the fruit teas and my favorite has to be the grapefruit which is so refreshing on hot day. Their coffee in a bottle is also an excellent choice to bring home and enjoy for later. (reminder its a concentrate, so lots of ice and made for two or three servings...not for one sitting.) Let's not forget about the cakes! We absolutely love that they have single serving, small cakes to share (3-4 people), and medium sizes. Wow, what a godsend!! I am familiar with this chain and I really cannot express how happy I am to finally have one out here in my area. This is pastry heaven. Sweet and savory items? Check. Cold desserts? Check. Large beverage menu? Also check. I did not get a lot of items this time around. Although they had a lot of items ready for sale when I went in at opening, they didn't have some items that I really wanted. Also, they didn't have baskets or trays to carry items around. So I could only buy what I could carry in my hands sadly. Now knowing this, I will be ready next time and bring my own bag so I can really go to town. Inside is on the smaller side but clean and brightly lit. There are 3 tables off to the side if you wanted to dine in. Staff is amazing and at least 1 of them speaks Mandarin. That will be very handy for my mom when she visits. They have their own app so I highly recommend downloading this to earn rewards. This location does not have online ordering turned on at this time but if they ever do, you can order ahead through the app. Unexpected bonus - they have their own drive-thru! I have not used this yet so unsure what exactly you can order through here. Drinks at least. You can count on me being a regular visitor! I can't wait to go back to try out more things. Small update: I went to their official grand opening event today 2/7. Turns out, there are trays for people to use. This place is very efficient when you need to grab good food in a hurry. The only thing you need to actually order is fresh brewed drinks like their fresh strawberry milk. One of my favorite Asian bakeries is finally nearby my home!!! It's the weekend and just opened last weekend so it was jam packed, however that's a great sign :) We got bunch of different pastries and 2 drinks. As always every single item was delicious. My favorite was Hokkaido cheese tart. My salted cream matcha was a perfect combo of flavor as well. Love the creamy, salty, and sweet consistency. Yay!! Finally there's an 85 Bakery Cafe nearby; saves me time in having to drive all the way to Chandler. The place is clean and spacious. The staff are all welcoming and efficient. There's fresh assortments of pastries and delicious cakes! I love that they're not overly sweet and just perfect. I always order between the peach green tea or ice cafe which are both good; no complaints there. I've tried the Mango Creme Brulee w/ fresh mangos on top which was pure bliss with every bite. The whole point of ordering ahead through the app is to avoid wait times when picking up at the store. The same goes for using the drive-through--it's supposed to be quick and convenient. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. I ordered ahead through the app twice, and both times I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my drink. When I asked about my order, the staff looked completely confused, like they had no idea what was going on. On another occasion, I ordered through the drive-through. Not only did I wait 30 minutes in line with a crying baby in the car, but my order was also incorrect. The customer service here is terrible. I read other reviews citing the same issue. Unfortunately if they don't change I believe they will be out of business. We went in two weeks ago and tried some baked goods, all tasted good. We asked an employee about availability of cakes since we had a birthday coming soon. They told us all cakes are always out daily and available. We came back today to pick one up because of this. They didn't have any of the red velvet cake. We talked to the cashier and asked about it and she said they didn't have any now but it would take about 30 min to an hour to make. I asked if we could come back for it and she said yes they would set it aside. Upon returning, they acted like we had never been there and they couldn't help us at all. The girl who took our order was on break. They said there was a red velvet set aside but that they couldn't give it to us. We asked how they could help us out with it and they basically did not care. They said we could pick a different one out of the case but gave no other resolution as to the cake we wanted or the fact that it should have been set aside for us. Very unfortunate because the baked goods were nice but I can't give money to such rude and unhelpful people. The workers are all pretty young and basically don't care about helping or the fact that you exist at all. It is being badly run by whoever is in charge. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars for the food which is always tasty, however, the service is always less than good. Though they have recently opened, I have frequented this establishment & 2 things are evident: the cashiers are not very interpersonal & the drink station is always backed up. The biggest factor that sets good businesses apart from great businesses, will always be superb service.
