I've never tried this place or the butcher, but I saw it on too good to go and have been eyeing the bag for a very long time! I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Funny enough, my sister & I were watching Nonnas & the first ten minutes made us want the pastries. So, we stopped to think where could we get a pastry? I remembered this place. It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert! read more

This was a lobster roll with vanilla cream from the Sicilian Butcher/ Baker was AMAZING. The outside was shaped like a lobster tail but it was like a croissant . Hard and flakey on the outside was soft on the inside and then it had vanilla cream or you had a choice of Nutella. I'm really glad I do not live anywhere near this restaurant. Otherwise I'd be there every other day, getting one of these, they were so good. They had gelato and an original cannoli among with so many other desserts! You got to pick your shell and filling for the cannoli. My MIL said their gelato tastes like it did when she traveled to Italy. All of the desserts looked AMAZING. We went there with my MIL for Christmas Eve dinner. My dish for dinner was ok but I should have got the lasagna as it was a smaller portion than what everyone else got. read more

In addition, there is tiramisu, traditional Italian cookies, Sfogliatelle (lobster tails), cheesecake, and more. They have a great happy hour Monday-Thursday from 1-5 PM where you can get $1 mini cannolis and $2 scoops of gelato. We had the torta lemon pie gelato which was vanilla with real chunks of the dessert mixed it - absolutely delicious! I also ordered a mango sorbet which was blended with real mango. My friends and I sat inside, but they had outdoor seating as well. I love their hanging rolling pins and mixing bowl heads (is that what you called them? lol) as decorations, and I could not stop staring at them! Service was a bit lacking. When we arrived, there were no greetings, both staff members were seem to be in the zone on their non-guests-serving tasks. There was no direction on who to ask for help or where to pay. This was our first time trying The Sicilian Baker. The gelato really stood out super smooth and flavorful! The pastries were okay, not bad but nothing that wowed us. It is a smaller spot, and while they do have indoor and outdoor seating, the experience felt a bit rushed when we were ordering. We couldn't get a cannoli because we were too full. They did look delicious and was very tempting. We settled on... LOBSTER TAIL: buttery flaky dough, nutella, or vanilla custard (5/5). Wow, this was so crispy, buttery, and flakey throughout! Each bite was crunchy. The custard cream was delightfully decadent. FLAG COOKIE: soft, fluffy almond cake layers all covered in a smooth layer of rich chocolate (3.5/5). It was good, but maybe a bit firm from the refrigeration. The best I had was in NYC. read more

So the food was on point. The pine nuts with the olives and the sauce with the peppers, amazing! That was fun! After enjoying a nice lunch at The Sicilian Butcher, we couldn't help but check out all of the great Italian goodies at The Sicilian Baker. It all looks so good! Many Gelato flavors and baked goodies galore! Hmmm, but what to get? I decided to try some cookies, so that we could take a few home to try. The fig cookies look good, the almond cookies look good and the lemon cookies look good. Which to get? And there it was on the countertop. A gift box with everything that I wanted to try and more. That's it! They are all delicious! My grandmother immigrated from Sicily and I can tell you that these are the real deal! The fig and almond cookies are very similar to what I grew up with. Service was alright, you get you g workers who are very stressed out and too busy to greet you when asking for your order. Lobster tails are a crisp and flaky pastry that resembles a lobster's tail. Tails are filled with a dense cream that is similar to a thick pudding. The lobster tails weren't really my thing. My youngest loves them. Their other desserts are more to my liking. We came for the pastries. I can't wait to go back and try the gelato. Bakery goods may be ordered ahead of time. Holiday cakes may be ordered as early as late October. Unlike most bakeries, the Sicilian Baker does not open until late morning. read more

My first experience here was excellent. The girl helping us was awesome. She was super friendly and helpful (and patient) with us as we struggled to choose our cannoli fillings. They have a good selection of Italian influenced pastries. We got the napoleon. It was delicious - highly recommend. We also got a trio of the build-your-own cannolis. They have so many options it was hard to choose; but you can sample as many as you'd like to help make your decision. I recommend the Lemon, Cookie Butter, and Pecan Pie.
