Reu. Is. The. Man. I was referred to Reu by a neighbor, who also loved his work, as our A/C was intermittently dying and not working well. I sent Reu a text and he responded promptly. He made his way to our house on the same day, was in-an-out in about 20 minutes and had our A/C going. 2 weeks later, still going strong with no issues!!! 2 words... GOD SEND! Reu is amazing! He came in, inspected our unit, did his thing, an for the FIRST time in WEEKS, our home has gotten down BELOW 80 degrees! We knew there was something up with our unit but we weren't sure what. Since cleaning the filters (both air intake inside our house and the outside unit filters) didn't work we decided to finally call a professional. We fully expected to pay an arm, leg, foot and maybe an elbow to get it fixed based on a few friends' experiences. We were pleasantly surprised his price was very fair and reasonable. I expected it to be a long drawn out process but he was speedy. Even the way he walked around was with purpose. You can tell he was there to get the job done and not just collect a paycheck. After he finished up he even took time to explain to is what happened, how he foxed it, how to prevent it, and minor touches (also reasonably priced) he'd suggest we do to make our system more efficient. We offered to pay him in advance for the other work he suggested we do, but he wasn't comfortable taking payment for a job that wasn't yet completed. For me, this says a lot about his character. He could have easily jacked up prices ridiculously because of the heatwave and, I'm sure, an insane amount of calls, but he didn't. He could have easily taken my money and could have played games with the completion date but he didn't. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone looking to get you AC unit fixed. This review is long overdue - this company is wonderful! I was a little skeptical as they didn't have any reviews yet, however my realtor who I totally trusted said some of her clients had used them and had great experiences. NO REGRETS! Not only were they they most reasonable, but they were the most responsive and easy to work with even though they are in West Covina and we are here in LA. Ryu worked with us and he was lovely - he came out, always on time, gave us a quote and STUCK TO IT. No surprises. He repaired and replaced ducting and vents on our new home and made quick and effective work out of it. We are talking a not-pretty 60's tank of a machine that hadn't been run in at least 20 years! When we purchased the home, the inspector said there was no way that thing worked. But Ryu had faith! He got it going in no time. It has gotten us through this very hot summer. He even cleaned out the intake among other little things to make sure everything was clean and ready to rock - and get this, he has come out several times SINCE to do small repairs on our ancient AC unit, always promptly (and kindly) responding to texts. Woke up one morning freezing and we quickly realized our Heating unit stopped working. After calling others and getting the same message "We are booked 2-3 weeks in advance", I called Cozy Air and Reu came out the same day. He arrived as scheduled and proceeded to my roof to inspect my Heating unit. After spending 2-3 minutes of checking the unit, we found the problem. The fuses were bad. First I have to say that my air conditioner decided to leak water and cause my ceiling to cave in during one of our first heat waves. I started calling different companies to see if someone could come out and help me and I just got recordings that said, "We're sorry we have a two to three week waiting list, leave your name and number." I was starting to panic! Then I called Cozy Air and Reu picked up the phone and he was so nice and polite! He said he could help me out and come the same day! He texted me a little while later and gave me the time he would be there and then he texted me when he was leaving the job he was on to get to my house so I knew when to expect him. This is the most important thing to me: he could have taken advantage of someone in a desperate situation and overcharged me or looked for a whole bunch of things that needed to be repaired. He didn't. He found the problem, fixed it, and explained it all to me and only charged me a small service call fee. I do need to get some other small things fixed with my old unit, but they don't need to repaired right away. I will definately call Cozy Air for everything because of Reu's honesty and how hard he worked to help me! You won't be disappointed! read more

I texted Cozy Air today, late in the afternoon the day before Xmas eve, and received a response nearly right away. They said they could come by closer to later that day. They found the problem easily and didn't want to charge for a finding a dirty filter and re-setting the sensor. Mind you, they had just come from Silver Lake and again was working late so close to the holidays - and despite spending time looking into the issue, was ready to leave without compensation. What a kind and wonderful business to come across. I should add, this was all handled remotely as I was setting this up for my mother's house, which makes me feel even better knowing I could feel comfortable sending over such great people to help my mom. Reu responded to my text very quickly and set up a time to inspect my central air unit the following morning. He was in communication that morning to update me on his ETA. After he arrived, he inspected my unit and found that nothing major seemed to need replacing right away, but perhaps in the future. He gave me some tips on how to more efficiently run the unit and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. And the best part of it all -- he didn't charge me a dime (even when I insisted on paying him something for his time and effort!). I cannot say enough great things about Cozy Air. Our AC unit went out Friday, in the middle of the heat wave. We called a technician who said he'd be at our house Saturday, between 12-1 PM. When it was obvious this guy was not going to show up, we called a couple places to try find someone to fix our AC system. We were lucky enough to find Cozy Air who was not only able to come same day, but also on time. He expeditiously figured out the issue, fixed it, and look at other parts of our unit just to be sure everything was in order. He did not try to up sell anything and the vents he recommended we changed he suggested we could find online at reasonable price. Then he presented us with the bill-mind you, we were desperate and willing to pay whatever to be able to get some cool air--but his bill was just for the service Call!!! That's it. Okay friends! This is the best of the Best right here! We had our AC unit go out today. Of all days! Our warranty company could not get us a technician for days so they approved us to go outside of network "if" we could find anyone.
