Our AC was making a loud rattling and vibrating noise. This was quite annoying as this started late at night. In the morning we called Wintri and Jay was sent to determine what the problem was. After few minutes he was able to determine the cause. He was amazing! He took the time to not only show us what the problem was but to also explain to us in a way that we could understand as to why it happened! and what it would take to make fix it. I used yelp to help me find a HVAC company as my a/c unit stopped working and David replied very quickly with times available for the next day (as it was 10pm at night) and set up a time frame that worked for me. The next day Jay and Jayden came right at the beginning of the time frame gand were able to figure out the problem within 30mins. They gave me a quote and got to work straight away when I approved it! They both were very friendly and professional and I appreciated how they had their own indoor booties/shoes in which they put on whenever they came into the house and took off once they had to go outside which was multiple times. Wintry was quick to respond and offered a fair quote for my repair. the main issue i had was the furnace overheating and shutting itself off, a warranty part was replaced and things got better but the system kept pushing cold air after 30 min. after a couple more visits, the focus was constantly on my thermostat settings (i have three zones) and the culprit was that i was over working my heater (heat set to 70). i gave up after wintri stopped responding to my help messages and got a second opinion where the new company tech found that some insulation had come loose in the furnace and blocking the air intake. all i had to do was glue it back up and i've been working since. read more
