We sat at the bar and quickly waited on by Darrel who is bartender and owner. There was a specials list for the weekend, New York strip; ribs and prime rib. The prices are a little high but what we seen the servings almost justified the price. We weren't quite as hungry to justify a steak or rib; thus we went with a side salad and chicken steak/w side salad. The salad was decent size and the chicken was covering over 1/2 the plate. My wife had just a salad. The chicken was tender and seasoned well. The sauce is a secret sauce of the bar! Drinks were good and priced well. While we were there I seen an order of ribs by a patron; they did look really good and by what I could tell he liked them but he couldn't eat them all. A patron sitting next to us ordered the prime rib; its smoked prime rib and flash finished over the grill that doesn't affect the finished doneness. It was huge at about 1" thick and done perfectly inside to the patrons delight. It's $40 but probably won't finish it all. Definitely when in the area will stop back.

I sat at the bar and was greeted within 30 seconds by one of the bartenders, asked what I would like to drink, and was offered a food menu. The plate included generous pieces of fish (5 total) of Walleye and Perch, slaw, rye bread/butter, fries, and sauces. Sitting at the bar, I struck up a conversation with a couple different people and to my surprise was met with great conversation. The service was fantastic all night. And the food. You get what you pay for, truly. This is a nice spot and the food is drool worthy.
