Two eggs over easy with grits and corned beef hash
    Stephanie S.

A classic favorite in Miami Springs, Cozy Corner is a known staple for a reason. Yummy breakfast and lunch options to choose from. My mom had two eggs with corned beef hash, grits, and Cuban toast, with coffee. I had the combo club sandwich with fries and a half sweet and unsweetened tea. Everything was freshly made and the service was great. If you are in the mood to eat diner food, this is the place for you.

The food was delicious. I had a bacon and egg sandwich with potatoes and onions. My husband had the big breakfast which had eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and toast. He added corn beef hash. The coffee was the real star. Delicious. Will definitely be back

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A great place in the heart of Miami Springs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Home cooking with lots of options. The service is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is nice with a lot of old Coca Cola items displayed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a great amount of options on the menu. Today I was craving a burger...then I was present option of a chili burger...why not? I was not disappointed. It was great! Very consistent with the meals too. Great specials daily. This is worth driving to!

It pains me to write reviews like this but here goes. Hubby mentioned he'd like to take me to a local place he and coworkers frequented before he retired. We were promptly seated although the place was super busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place had an old diner feel and I thought.. ok I can go with this.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love a diner/greasy spoon as long as the food is good.. I ordered the Super Starter breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, grits and toasted Cuban bread (my request) and he had the Country girl - French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. We both had a large orange juice to drink. Our waitress started off pleasant helping with choices since I was first timer. Here's where things got off track and I subtracted 1 star for each of these issues. 1. My food arrived ice cold (I like my food piping hot), hubby's was fine. The waitress agreed to heat my food in the microwave and it still came back lukewarm. I just decided to go ahead and eat it because I didn't think things would get any better. 2. There didn't seem to be any salt on my food whatsoever and I usually never have to add salt to any food. I'm talking specifically about the grits and eggs. Bacon naturally has salt in it and the bacon was fine. The salt shakers seemed to have been exposed to water because the salt barely came out. My husband's brioche French toast was pretty good. No complaints on this side. 3. We finished our meal and I kept waiting for the check to arrive. I finally had to ask someone to get our waitress and when that didn't work, I got up to ask someone to get her. I believe she saw me and then finally she brought our check. It took her a while to come back because I saw her greeting other customers. By the time she finally brought the check her attitude changed to cold and quiet. I usually overtip but this time I couldn't muster more than a $7 tip for the food and service. The bottom line is I shouldn't be able to cook better breakfast at home. This place may have been good once upon a time but it's just "meh" today.

My family and i have gone to Cozy Corner for like 3-4 years now and their food never disappoints! And the people are very nice! Though sometimes it does get busy and the service does get a little bit slow. The coffee tastes amazing and you can see them make it. And the food is scrumptious They give a generous portion of food. If you haven't given this place a try you should!

This little diner is definitely on the corner and cozy. We found this little gem looking for breakfast not too far from the airport. Our server was great, very warm and welcoming. I had a hot café con leche and ordered the Country Girl with a side of potatoes. I have no idea why I thought I'd be able to eat all of that food; cue the to-go container. But everything was absolutely delicious. It's was a comforting breakfast that was absolutely worth it.

Staple if you ever visit Miami you have to stop by for breakfast. Greatly priced and yummy. I enjoyed my country girl meal with turkey bacon. It includes two eggs your way and perfectly cooked French toast. The service is always amazing and quick. The decor for Easter was so adorable. Even the staff had Easter bunny's ears. I really enjoyed myself and the food.

Mediocre at best. I haven't been disappointed with a place in a while. I had heard so many good things about this neighborhood diner and had always wanted to visit. I was in the area and decided to give them a try. They had told me there was always a wait on the weekends so I wasn't surprised. We didn't wait since they have first come first serve in their counter area. The service was good. Everyone was attentive. I had the Country Boy which brought eggs, sausage, bacon and Hotcakes. The scrambled eggs were bland, nothing out of this world, but what blew me away was that they serve grocery store maple flavored syrup. Sorry but that's a big no for me. Disappointing.

It is right across from the airport. I mean right, right across. You hear the planes taking off. They are so loud, you feel that you are on the runway. They have a few hightops and tables in front of teh truck to sit and enjoy your meal. You can place your order at a kiosk, online, or with a cashier. There is tons of parking avaible in the hotel's parking lot. I think it would be fine to park there short term. The truck also has some loud music playing. They have a wide assortment of food available including burgers, fries, wings, salads, fish, ribs, pizza, quesadillas and empanadas. They also serve slushes and milk shakes. I got an order of honey & lemon wings and sweet chili & teriyaki wings with a side of fries. I also got some of the sweet plantains and a slush. The food was pretty pricey for what I got. But that may just be Miami pricing. The staff there was friendly and helpful. The food was ok. It was not great, just ok. The wings lacked flavor and I did not particularly like their texture. The sweet plantains were not very sweet. I was not a fan. The slush was delicious though and the fries were decent, but it is hard to mess them up. This is a hip spot to get some grub, especially for those staying at an Airport hotel. The vibe and atmosphere is great, but my food could have been better. I think a 3.5 star rating is more suitable, but that is not possible, So I think that it is closer to a 4 than a 3, and that is what I went with.

After a long day of family flying out to Miami we wanted to grab a quick, no frills bite to eat close to the Miami airport, and ended up at Woody's Backyard Grill. We would like to preface the next portion with this: we do not like to throw accusations of racism around lightly so we'll call this an observation; however as a group of 11 who were mostly Asian, we were thoroughly ignored multiple times while other parties of non-minorities got served regardless of their later arrival time. Call it what you want but no matter the reason, the service was horrendous, the manners were unprofessional, and the energy was impolite. It left a very sour taste in our mouths.  We were seated outside and requested menus (who even has to REQUEST menus??) and for the TV to be switched over to a specific playoff bball game. We were told to head outside and someone would be right there. It took over 10 minutes to have someone come out with menus and that was after multiple attempts at asking for service. The TV was never changed to the game we requested. We watched as multiple parties were serviced before us and as workers came out and walked right by us. The final straw was when we finally got menus (they only brought them out after we grabbed some from inside after 10-15 minutes of waiting) and they took another 10 minutes to bring out water. On top of that, the waitress was unfriendly. We left before we spent the whole night waiting for someone to take our order. All around a terrible experience and we will never be back.

Instead of mimosas, I enjoyed bottomless coffee, which hit the spot after the aforementioned run and staying out the night before. Their eggs benedict, my brunch staple, it was actually pretty good. The hollandaise sauce had a good bit of tartness how I like and the eggs were running enough. I also ordered their French toast, but ended up taking half to go.
