    Beef bulgogi wrap
    Nou Nou S.

My brother and I made a visit to the place which was close to his workplace. As you drive up, located off Rt. 1 and Corporate Drive, you make the 2nd right and the cafe is located on the right side of the building. Just look for the small "Open" sign and double doors that is set aside from the main building. As you walk inside, the menu is above and behind the counter but you also have laminated menu that are place in front of the counter next to the cashier. We ordered 6 items: 1) Mandu dumplings 2) Bulgogi taco rice 3) Bibimbap 4) Country burrito 5) Beef bulgogi wrap 6) Steak country burrito. Surprisingly all burritos and wraps are not your typical burrito size but comfortable sizes like the size of your hand. The steak country burrito filled with scrambled eggs, steak, cheese, onions, home fries and it's already slice in half with an option of a side salsa. It was tasty and light. The beef bulgogi wrap filled marinated rib eye, grilled onions, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. This wrap was tasty as well but was missing some heat for our taste buds. The country burrito filled with eggs, sausage, cheese, home fries and a pickled hot pepper relish which was the highlight of our trip. We both couldn't get enough of the amazing umami flavor from that relish. Wow! It is a must get condiment. The mandu dumpling was well prepared, with a bottom seared and aromatic filling that is served with a vinegar based ponzu sauce. The bulgogi taco rice and the bibimbap were both delicious but there was one ingredient that overpowered the entire dish- the shredded lettuce. It was unnecessary item to be in there. The bulgogi meat was tasty and with the rice it was a little on the dry side. The bibimbap needed more gochujang, it was a little on the dry side even when all the ingredients were incorporated; the fried egg had a little ooze but it was a little overcooked on the outer layer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this place is welcoming, clean, convenient for surrounding businesses and be sure to make a visit to meet Jun the owner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will make another visit to try other items on the menu.

I was so excited to visit this place after reading all the positive reviews; however, our…read moreexperience was a letdown due to the hospitality (or lack of it). We were here earlier than usual (10:30 am, don't judge me for drinking before noon!!!) and we're the only customers. It's uniquely located at a camp ground, but parking is a bit limited. The tasting room is small but has amble seating. There was a piano in the tasting room and no one was at the tasting room when we entered. My daughter who is a beginner pianist, wanted to play. Since there were no signs on the piano that forbid people touching, she went ahead and played. Then an older gentleman came in and told us in a stern tone that the piano is not for playing. He was not friendly at all and even after we apologized and ordered a flight for sampling, he still was not engaging. I'm not sure if he is the brew master or just someone works for the campsite store, but he didn't seem too happy to be there. We had the 2 stouts, an Amber, and pilsner on tap for our flight. They were all just OK. We didn't want to order more because his attitude and the sense that we were not welcomed there... Which was too bad because it was a nice space with plenty of outdoor seating, a playground in the back for kids to play while parents enjoy some refreshing beer. We will most likely not go back again given the cold-shoulder treatment.

Gentleman behind the bar (the owner, I suspect) was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Quiet and quaint atmosphere. I'm a fan.

What a fantastic surprise!…read more My fiancé and I were in town visiting friends and originally planned to go to Waffle House for breakfast, but the wait was crazy. My brother, who lives in the Stafford area and is a serious foodie, recommended Widewater Grill. Honestly, it's the kind of place you could easily drive right past without realizing what you're missing. We are so glad we stopped. I had Uncle Richard's Breakfast with eggs, green peppers and onions, bacon, home-fried potatoes, and French toast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The home fries tasted truly homemade, which is harder to find than you'd think. The coffee was excellent, served in a real mug, and I loved being able to refill it myself. My fiancé ordered the 12-ounce strip steak cooked medium, and he hasn't stopped talking about it. He said it was cooked perfectly, which is something even many chain restaurants struggle to get right. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant has that local, family-run feel that immediately makes you comfortable. As a retired Marine family, we also appreciated the Marine Corps traditions and military pride displayed throughout the restaurant. Great food, great service, great conversation, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!
