Grown up Grilled cheese & tomato soup!

We found this place after a swim meet. Very close to Jeff Rouse Swimming. Super laid back, delicious food & very friendly service! I had the Rachel and fries! My daughter & a coach friend came later & had an equally good experience!! Looked like a "coffee house" but so much more!!!

We came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The service was great, we were greeted immediately and told we could sit anywhere. Within a couple of minutes our waitress came by with menus and took our drink orders. We sat outside and it was lovely. There's not many outdoor seating options in Stafford so this is very exciting for us! For food we went with the grown up grilled cheese and the turkey pesto panini. Both options were good, but if you really wanted pesto on your sandwich, don't get your hopes up. It's mixed with mayo and only about 1 percent pesto. That was the only disappointing part of our visit. Either they could add more pesto to the sandwich or just call it a turkey panini. We will be back though to try other options.

New menu is in! Food is great and people are awesome! Come try it out or come back if you haven't been in here awhile!

Go here - it's just slightly off the I-95 intersection, and you'll be so glad you passed all those fast food places on your way. Grounds Bistro is a beautiful stone and glass restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a varied and delicious menu, fair prices, and excellent service. We enjoyed the late afternoon sun and our late lunch; it was such a refreshing break from our I-95 Southbound trip. I feel like we found an oasis, and I can't wait to come back.

Finally, gave my neighborhood bistro a try after being bookmarked for a while. On a random Sunday, we arrived at 9:01am and there was already someone checking out and others inside already seated. We were greeting but a friendly staff who bubbly said "have a seat anywhere you'd like." This place is awesome!! The interior is spacious and extends to the opposite side of the main seating area. The exterior is more spacious and boy I can wait to return when the weather is nice to dine outside. The bar is small yet just enough to seat less than 10 people but still the right size. The menu is limited but extensive at the same time. You can order any beverage local beer to gourmet coffee. We kept breakfast simple. I ordered the sampler eggs, bacon, sausage, toast with a side of sliced tomatoes. My friend went rogue and opted for a la carte which included a large pancake as he described it was "excellent". The food was cooked perfectly with portion sizes to make you feel full and not guilty and the prices are unbelievable. There is street parking and a smaller parking lot located behind the bistro. I can say unequivocally that this bistro will be visited on a regular rotation.

It's always nice and quiet when I come here. This was the salad I've heard about. And it did not disappoint. Next time I will get the bowl salad this one can feed two people. Korey was a great waiter.

Grounds Bistro is a simple and perfectly decent place to stop in for a meal. The decor is cute and tables are comfortable with several suites for larger parties. The menu is simple but covers all the bases. We ordered the breakfast burrito, chicken and waffles, cheese omelette and breakfast sandwich. Everything was as you'd expect but nothing more. The omelette was kind of small but I appreciated the slices of tomatoes that came with it. It seemed like everything was cooked fresh and I appreciated the availability of turkey sausage vs pork. I would love to see all the dishes accompanied with something light and fresh!

I met up with the two of my friends for lunch at Grounds Bistro in Stafford today. First time there for 2 out of 3 of us. We got there at 11:30 AM, and they were still on Sunday brunch. I originally wanted to order lunch foods, like a soup or salad, but that would not be available until 2 PM, so I ordered a sugar free blended white chocolate frozen coffee, and a small cup of fruit. One of my friends ordered the steak and eggs, with a side of French toast. The other friend ordered the Garbage Bowl, which is tater tots, eggs, cheese, corizo, chimichurri, and scallions, all covered in a sausage gravy. I never figured that we would still be there at 2 PM, no less 5 PM. And I was getting hungry, so I ended up ordering a half salad with sautéed shrimp. I'm glad we stuck around so I could try their lunch food. One of my other friends ordered a cheeseburger and fries, with a Caesar salad. Her burger looked delicious! I definitely will be back! It's so adorable in there, and they have really good food! Lots of sugar free coffee selections too. I think I've found my go to coffee shop. --

Based purely on the quality of the food it would be 3 stars. I am a foodie who leans paleo, so my standards are rather high. I ordered the Black Angus Salad, which from the name I expected to be topped with steak, however it was basically sliced deli roast beef (and not the good stuff) on a salad of romaine and iceberg lettuces with diced tomato, red onions, and blue cheese. It was mediocre, but all ingredients were fresh. It also came with pita bread triangles. The balsamic vinaigrette was obviously from a bottle as the oil and vinegar did not separate, which was also disappointing. The menu is simple with a few breakfast items, a few salads and a majority being subs and sandwiches. It is a good place to go in a pinch. There is a Five Guys in the same little shopping strip.

We both ordered Philly cheese steaks and both agree that they were the best philly cheese steaks we've ever had. When you first walk in, you aren't sure if this place is even a restaurant but I promise the food makes up for what the decor lacks. The only negatives about this store is that they had no diet sodas, which is what I prefer to drink. They only serve glass bottled drinks like regular coke. I recommend this place to anyone, I'm craving another sub just typing this!

Some notable features include the electronic screen beverage dispensers, the dedicated flavored frozen lemonade (slurpee) machine, and the (unexpected) dining area. I am not going to lie, but I am a little disappointed by the dining area. I honestly thought this new feature would bring about an "experience" to American 7-Elevens that I have experienced overseas. Nonetheless they really put in a great effort into this location. I do question if this is a corporate owned location, as most employee are too nice for a typical franchised location! I do see myself coming back more in the future. I hope, that as this location becomes more noticeable, that they can keep up all the things that set this location apart from other locations! I will leave a little side note about the entrance/exit of this location: The only proper way to enter is by traveling eastbound on RTE 630 or southbound on RTE 1. This means that leaving the business makes it harder to access I-95 or RTE 1 again. Although I don't mind twisting the rules to my benefit, some people (like your average traveler) may be frustrated by the unnecessary extra time spent getting the car turned back in the right direction. I would still recommend this place to those looking to elevate their 7-Eleven experience!

There are three slot machines to test your good fortune. oh yeah, the food, the salad was so fresh I thought I died and came back as a rabbit.. The crabcake was spot-on, more crab than batter, golden and perfectly cooked. I got adventurous with a mango lemonade blended with mango iced tea, which was straight-up tropical magic in a glass but cost me a dollar up charge for getting fruity. Now, the mac & cheese? It had a strong boxed mac vibe, nostalgic but not quite my jam since I started making over minimum wage. Shoutout to the staff for offering to swap it out immediately, but since it was nothing really wrong with it besides the fact that I don't like box, mac & cheese, I stayed the course (no harm done). Non-lunch hour menu prices run from $12 to $48, offering a large variety of food, options. Plus, lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM, so Girlfriend's is ready whether you want a quick bite or a relaxed meal. All in all, this taphouse puts a tasty and lively spin on a beloved local spot, and I'm definitely coming back for more of that mango magic and of course a different side dish.
