The online ordering service was easy. The food was prepared and ready when it said it would be. I was surprised how clean and spacious it looked inside. I would definitely eat inside one day. The servers were really pleasant. The only issue I had which wasn't their fault was that somebody took my drinks but they made me new ones quickly. I'm not sure if there's a better way to avoid that except to have the pick up orders closer to the cashiers or behind the cashiers. I don't imagine this is a first. I had to show them my receipt to prove I was missing my drinks but nobody had to prove anything to take them for free . Hoping they can resolve this issue. It's wonderful they have a lot of trust in the people that take the food. This is the first time someone has taken part of my order though of the many times I've gone to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I went into the Stafford MarketPlace location and it was in process of being cleaned very thoroughly. The cashier Marvin was very dismissive, rushing me through my order that I had advised him was for my office and consisted of 5 orders all to be paid together. 3/5 of the items I ordered were incorrect. One of them containing an allergen for a co worker as it was requested without coconut because she is allergic to nuts. The coconut flakes were not removed. It is very frustrating because when I was ordering, I was interrupted, treated dismissively, and as a clear reflection of his inattentiveness, was given incorrect food items. No reflection on the kitchen staff or the child cleaning the restaurant. My complaint is for Marvin. I'm not sure if he needs a change of scenery or a retrain but I advise that management be more mindful about who they have representing their store and how their customers are being treated. This is the worst tropical smoothie I have ever been to. I arrived at the location at 8:55pm. The store is supposed to close at 9pm. The front door was open and I walked in and tried to place my order. The cashier looked at the time and said, "Oh we close in five minutes. We have already put everything away sorry." I'm just left looking there dumb founded as the cashier walks away. I know this can't not be the policy as I worked in the restaurant/food industry. If the doors are not locked the customer should be able to order, if I entered the store on time. I'm very disappointed. I will not come to place ever again read more

Customer service was extremely rude. Manager Darayan would consistently cut me off while placing my order and when I asked for description of menu items i was told he did not have time to speak with me and to figure out what I want or get details online. When coming to location I requested for district managers information to inform him of locations conduct. I was then told he cannot give out that information and all complaints will be directed to him since he's the manager. Great smoothies! Very high in calories and sugar, but you do have the option to substitute splenda or eliminate all sweeteners. The smoothies are a bit pricey once you add in what you want, but all restaurants do upcharge for add ins. The previous owner always remembered me by name and I would only go a few times a year. I used to love tropical smoothie. I haven't had it in years and I was excited to come back but this place is awful. The guy tipped himself $3 on the screen and it was over $20 for two smoothies. My husband got that açaí berry boost and they gave him a smoothie bowl instead. When we said the order was wrong the guy said "oh" and started helping the next person. I just need to give a huge shout out to TSC in Stafford on Garrisonville Road. I stopped in to get my dad (80+) a "flight" of smoothie samplers. He had a stroke and also lost all his teeth and was having trouble eating. They acted like this was nothing special and easily put together this surprise and adding some secret protein so he could get some amino acids working! I'm a cancer patient going through chemo. I suffer extreme nausea sometimes as a result. At times, Tropical Smoothies has been the only takeout that I can eat/enjoy. The Green Detox may not be pretty, but it is a great boost of very healthy calories. It is also super easy on the stomach, and TS has many stomach soothing add ins that help beyond just getting a meal (ground flax, fresh ginger, probiotics). I'm not aware of any other place where I live that offers such healthy options. It may not mean much to others, but it's a huge deal for me. Fighting this is tough enough, but starving while doing it is a real drag. I'm so thankful I have a TS so close. The staff is super nice too. This location is pretty convenient for me because I am in this shopping center at least once a week. However, Tropical Smoothie never gives the vibes of a place to stay and hang out. The smoothies we tried so far was peanut paradise, sunrise sunset, sunny day, beach bum, blueberry bliss, and blimey Limey. Now, everything was good except the blimey Limey.. So at first I was going to give zero stars because I came in on my lunch break and ordered a peanut butter cup. It was an online curbside scheduled to be ready at 3:15 and when I arrived I called to let them know I was there. 15 mins later no one came out so I called again and she brought it out to me. My smoothie was liquid and when I took a sip I just about spit it out, it was awful! It tasted like peanut butter water. Unfortunately my lunch was over and I didn't have time for them to fix it so I came back after my shift and Carmen was kind enough to remake it for me and boy am I glad she did. It was made perfectly, exactly the way it's supposed to taste. I'm not sure who made the 1st drink but I'm guessing they forgot an ingredient or 2. If I didn't spend half my lunch waiting for them to bring me my smoothie I could have asked them to remake it then and there but I'm glad that wasn't the case cuz I may have gotten the same person. This is the most expensive Tropical smoothie in the area. I've had it before where I went there and order a sandwich and the sandwiches supposed to come with a bag of chips fruit; or apple slaw. The owner did not even mention it. I also like to get my receipts at the store Because at the bottom of it is it has a coupon where if you do a survey on the store then you can get a smoothie for $1.99 with the purchase of a sandwich. I sent My son there and I asked for the receipt on the phone with him he said that he went to grab the receipt off the receipt machine but the owner said that was not the and gave him the receipt that didn't have a survey on the bottom of it. The food is amazing. But your employees were distracted and could not take their jobs seriously. There were at least 5 people working in the back and it took 10+ minute to get our food. Their friends were coming in and they seemed to care more about talking to them than doing their jobs. We also we're to be eating in but since it was 5 minutes to close when we got our food they put our food in to go bags and told us to have a nice night. If I was ever to go here again it will be through food Uber so I at least do not have to experience such horrible customer services. read more

The 2 ladies were super nice and holding down the fort, but the gentlemen (I am assuming he's the manager) was rude and short! Very disappointed with this location. Second night in a row that they closed early. The hours posted on the door states that they close at 9 pm on Sunday and 10 pm on Saturday. Each night that I went they were closed. The employee that was sweeping stated that they just started closing early. Someone needs to tell them to update their door signs and online profile.
