Honestly the best seafood spot in the Houston area (specifically Spring, TX)! Any time I am visiting North Houston, I go out of my way to get a Frida's Plate which is basically a seafood boil in a plastic container (which is how I prefer it in comparison to a plastic bag.) The bay leaves they include with the seafood is the perfect touch. CP Seafood also serves delicious daiquiris which is a great option on a hot day by itself or with your seafood order. The service could've been better but has no bearing on my review. Simply put, the food wasn't good. It wasn't terrible or nasty, it just wasn't good. We drove a way to get here just for nothing to be worth coming back for. We got the shrimp fried rice, fried fish, seafood boil with crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes and eggs. It really didn't hit on anything. We also had two daiquiris and again, not good. We also got the gumbo, fried boudain, and turkey necks. We didn't even finish any of the food and ended up giving to someone just to avoid throwing it away. We spent around $100 and we won't be going back. The other reviews really sold us on it. Others seemed to like the place but with other places similar around, it doesn't make sense to return. I won't say don't come here. This was my first time and I only tried so many things here. My friend came as well , right after I had placed my order and he ordered something completely different and he said it was good. With that being said I ordered 3 lbs of extra spicy crawfish and 1LB of spicy shrimp , boudin egg rolls, and the MVP rice pack(fried rice with sausage and shrimp). The rice didn't have any flavor, they threw on this heavy garlic sauce that wasn't good. So I'd give the rice a 2/10. The shrimp was a 6/10. Had some spice to it. The crawfish was a 2/10 , I'd give it a 3 for the size but a 2 for the flavor. The liquid marijuana daiquiri was probably the best thing we had. My friend got the boiled grab and said it was good. Pretty close to 5-stars. I ordered shrimp fried rice and lemon pepper chicken wings, which was very tasty! It's a single meal you don't find anywhere, and it's less than $20! We had the Boudin Links, Final Four, Snow Crab Cluster, and the MVP Shrimp fried rice. The fried boudin links were a hit! No sauce required but definitely try with and without the spicy mayo. The flavors of the Final Four were a HIT! Crawfish was delicious even if out of season, so don't let that discourage you. I am absolutely obsessed with their combination fried rice. It's packed with crawfish tails/shrimp and full of flavor so so good definitely my favorite. I also had the Frida's plate with peeled shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage, and a boiled egg; I definitely devoured that. The house sauce is so good with a nice kick to it. I was a faithful customer to cp seafood however on multiple occasions i've had bad experiences with them and pushed them to the side because the food is fairly good however my most recent experience with them has pushed me to the limit.
