This review is for the Greens Rd Location: The shrimp were bland and over cooked & slightly chewy. 3 people at the table tried the boudin eggrolls -all 3 said they tasted sour. Almost like "dirty crawfish". After 1 bite I didn't finish them. The sauce was very good. I gave it 3 stars because I went in with 3 other people and what they had was tasty. I'm going to try other items- when we return. Maybe they are still working the bugs out. Went today again and tried the Phillycheese steak loaded and Egg-rolls ... absolutely fabulous!! read more

I tried to give this place another try since my last review. The staff, the food, and the service have changed, but for the worse! The staff does not fully understand what the menu items come with and thinks that everything is the boil sauce. I order the garlic noodle box with extra garlic sauce. When my food came out it was covered in the ohh la la boil sauce. When I explained that the sauce that usually is with it is clear not red, she said this is what they use. I said it doesn't look like the photo on the board, her response was bc I asked for extra. I said extra does not mean change the type. She then just looked at me. I asked for a remake so it's like the photo. It seems that they rinsed off the noodles bc they were cold and thru the smoked sausage that I bit off and egg that I bit and placed it on top and smothered more red sauce on it! I wanted to provide a five-star rating because the crawfish and fried rice were absolutely delicious--both dishes were packed with flavor. The seasoning on the crawfish was spot-on. My main complaint, however, was the service. While I understand the goal of keeping customers moving in and out, the overall atmosphere didn't feel very welcoming. There were a few issues with missing items from our order, and when we brought it up, the manager seemed a bit reluctant to correct the situation. I don't know how Bayou Seafood & More does it, but they continue to offer crawfish, seafood bundles, wings, and fried baskets for such a steal. They're actively dropping daily and weekly specials on IG, there you'll catch the best and lowest prices of the season. My favorite flavor to get is Ooh La La Extra Spicy, garlicky and buttery with tons of Cajun spices. The sauce ratio can be inconsistent at times, but the food is always good and so is the service. Online ordering is quick and convenient, the website will show you items in stock and out of stock so you can order accordingly. I don't think I've eaten crawfish anywhere else since opening of Bayou Seafood. I've grown accustomed to their flavors and I will always be a returning customer. read more

Ordered a fillet of fried catfish, crawfish fried rice and side of the orange sauce. Price definitely very reasonable and they gave ample serving of food. Catfish was crispy but moist inside. It was DELICIOUS and cooked perfectly! The crawfish fried rice was full of medium size crawfish- it was amazingly full of flavor and can't stop eating- it was that good! Well I'm back with another good review for another good spot! I'm a huge seafood fan and so are the folks I bring with me to these restaurants. The type to make a drive for some good food. Luckily this place is 8 minutes away from where I live. If you're scared to come to the 249/greenspoint area then stay home. If you want good seafood come check out Bayou seafood , we got a shrimp po-boy with fries, fried shrimp with noodles, boudin balls, combo ride, and whole wings. Everything tasted so good! Was in the mood for a fish sandwich for lunch, so I Googled it, and this spot came up and was close to my job. Decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did.. went with the fish plate instead. It was fried to perfection (it could have used some seasoning but definitely fried perfectly). Doubled back this week and got the shrimp Po'Boy.. Also fried to perfection on a fresh roll. I absolutely loved this place! I look for a new crawfish spot to eat at least once a week. I kept seeing the ads on fb and decided it was time I go. They didn't disappoint on flavor. My only complaint was the crab legs barely had any meat inside but I understand that there is no way to get for sure crab meat unless I order king crab legs . I went here with a friend for crawfish It was bomb! I know, it's next to a gas station but it is one of the most legit viet crawfish places I've been to. It's up there with 88 boiling and Hank's. I got the spicy crawfish in their bayou flavor. It's slightly tangy with a kick and it was good. It was priced at $5.99 a lb so it was pretty reasonable. Although they did not have their boudain balls available, I was able to have the cajun fries which tassted exactly like their reg fries, not flavored with any seasoning. I visited this casual style counter service seafood place last week for lunch. Parking spaces were plentiful and the interior clean. I ordered the 2 fish and 3 shrimp meal that came with fries and hush puppies for $7.79. To drink they only offer canned drinks for $1. My meal came out in less than 15 minutes and was piping hot. I thought the fried fish and shrimp tasted good along with the fries and puppies. It was actually a better meal than a couple of other similar type restaurants that I have recently tried and the cost represented very good value. I am giving a 3 because this meal was A-OK. I realize that a fried fish and shrimp meal can be hard to stand out from the others. Also, my score is much lower than the 4.5 star average they currently have. I usually don't like to write reviews right away but I HAD to let everyone know about their current 4.99/lb deal mon-thurs. I don't know when it ends but crawfish at other places are currently 8.99-11.99lb!! This is a steal! Normally it goes for 7.99lb which is already a fair price. Upon walking in I was surprised that you actually order first and then sit. There's no option for tip so you mostly get everything yourself and the just wait for you order number to be called. For having no servers this place was quite clean and our food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. For the crawfish you can choose between garlic butter or bayou flavor and then regular, spicy, or extra spicy. The regular actually has spice to it and even had my nose running a little. I have eaten my fair share of crawfish and these were extremely juicy and cooked perfectly to where the shells popped right off. It even comes with a side of dipping butter, which was very flavorful. We also had the chicken/sausage/shrimp gumbo which was very good, boudin egg rolls, and their whole wings which are a must!! I'll have to try their fried seafood next time. They also had assorted seafood buckets w snow crab/shrimp and some fried rice asian food plates. Overall, I loved my experience here and the food.
