After being out town most of August I returned the jacket on Labor Day to the store requesting that the owner give me a call. That Saturday I receive a US Postal bag with the jacket and the attached letter suggesting that my purse ruined the jacket that I should find a seamstress who might be able to repair it. The evening the jacket shredded, I was hosting a catered dinner party at my home and didn't even have a purse near it. Is this what customer service is today? Their authentication expert pointed out three separate signs that the shoes were not genuine. So, not real real after all. When I took the shoes to The RealReal in Larkspur, I was directed to a text-based chat with a "specialist" who told me that because the return window had passed, there was nothing they could do. I'm now out over $400 for two pairs ( one with a broken heel that they said I should have come in right away about). Extremely disappointed. A company that claims to care about luxury and sustainability should at the very least stand behind the authenticity of what it sells. This experience makes me seriously question their values.

I was helped pretty quickly without waiting to do a return. I'm really not sure why people aren't happy with this Nordstrom! It really is wonderful!!
