Pay at the front desk to watch a tournament, rent a court, join a team, or sign up for a cardio fitness membership. The courts are well kept. Basketball hoops can be pulled up to the ceiling. Curtains are used as needed to separate courts and dampen sound. Bathrooms are large and stocked. Toilets are often not flushed. As a result, they would benefit from automatic flushing systems. What I liked most about this facility is the space and volume. The ceilings are high and the facility is spacious. Therefore, sound from cheering fans, yelling coaches, and referee whistling dissipates so you can still hear the announcers and communicate with the people beside you. A cafe is located in the front that offers a variety of brunch foods, beverages, and smoothies. Free WiFi is available inside the complex. The name and password is displayed at the front desk. Note that chairs are not allowed to be brought in for tournaments. They do have benches and 3-tier bleachers on the courts. There is additional seating by the cafe. Overall, a nice and accessible indoor sports complex.

Overall, it seems pretty nice, but on my initial visit (set-up) I didn't stay too long. They have two separate machines and free weight areas, two areas where you can use treadmills or ellipticals, and then the walking track that the woman who showed me around said 16 laps equal a mile. The pool is closed on Tuesday until 9:00 AM and so I stuck to working out on machines for this visit. There wasn't a lot of people there so that is a good thing to me, nothing worse for a gym than an overcrowded gym.

A nice young woman gave me a tour of the facilities and I was able to sign up for a low monthly fee. I couldn't believe what was included; Two huge lap pools, workout equipment, classes I can choose from, spin classes, and a walking track, sauna and a Jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is down at the moment but they are working on it. The locker room and bathrooms were so clean, I was very impressed. I dove in and did my first 14 laps and it felt so good. The whole fitness area was very clean. Can't wait for the next visit.

It's so nice to have such clean facilities with locks on the door that work properly. Unfortunately so many of the bathrooms at public playgrounds are a disaster but that's not the case here. The picnic benches are close by so if you want to sit and watch your children play you are still within reach. The walking trails go on for miles and are all paved. Great for walking, running, riding bikes or scooters. On the other side of the park there are basketball courts, workout stations, a dog park and a baseball field. This is a great part to consider if you want to reserve a shelter for a party. Everything about this park is beautiful and historic.

There is a bathroom that is close and very clean along with shelters around the park as well. There is a basketball court a bit down and I believe a dog park. There are trails along the park as well. I went to a Father's Day barbecue at Northeast Park and overall it was a nice experience. There was…read moreplenty of parking, which made it easy, and I liked that the park had a pond, a really big pool, and a nice area for the kids to play. The covered shelter was definitely a plus because it kept us out of the sun, especially with it being hot outside. It seemed like a really good spot for family gatherings, cookouts, and just spending time together. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed being there and don't really have any complaints -- overall it was a pretty decent park.
