It is so hard to find a cpap and bipap repair company these days!! I was skeptical about sending my husbands unit off for repair, but this company is top knot. We contacted them, did an online work order per say, mailed the unit off, once they received it and looked it over they sent us an online estimate/bill, and we had it back in about 10 days, once we gave them the go ahead to repair it. I just got back my Oxlife Independence portable oxygen concentrator from Repair Authority. I shipped it to them about one week ago to determine why my concentrator was signaling me about "low purity" of the oxygen produced. The machine now works perfectly and it took them only 3 days in their shop to diagnose the problem; prepare an estimate of repair cost and contact me; offer me a slight variation on the "normal" repair that saved me substantially expense; fix my machine perfectly; and box up my machine and ship it back to me at no additional charge. An altogether wonderful and unusual experience in today's world where good work and great customer service are rarely found. My only regret is that they don't also repair appliances, cars, and commercial airliners. They are a model for honest, efficient repair, and customer service for any business that wants to be successful! My BiPap machine was not functioning correctly. I spoke to a representative of the company and she was extremely helpful. She also followed up emailing me if I had any other concerns. I can't give enough PRAISE to Dan M., for the help I received from this wonderful company! My CPAP machine started whistling in May/June 2020. I sent it to Repair Authority 3 or 4 times as this problem was unique to them. Mind you that Dan to deal with this unit being returned several times in 6 months. We texted, spoke on the phone and I even sent him a video of what my unit was doing. I received my unit last week (Oct 28ish, 2020) and can report "the noise is GONE and my machine is so quiet that it's a blessing to sleep again." Exceptional turn around! Repairs were expensive but come with a guarantee. Concentrator returned in excellent condition with all parts returned that were sent. I was initially confused when filling out initial form to get the process started. Given download form option, after completing initial form. I was confused as to where the form was being downloaded. Prior to sending my Resmed CPAP unit in for evaluation, I spoke to the woman on the phone and told her that one of the 3 pins in the connector on my power supply had broken off and got lodged into the receptacle, so the unit needed to be fixed. The fix would be to remove the pin from the receptacle and replace the receptacle (if required). I would also need a new power supply because 1 of the 3 pins was broken and could not be replaced. I wrote that information in the comments on the Repair Form. When the quote came back from this company, there was no mention of the receptacle problem and instead the stated problem was LOUD, NOISY. COSMETIC DAMAGE. The unit was NOT loud and cosmetically it was fine!!! According to CPAPMedics, in order to repair the unit, I would need to replace the main Printed Circuit board ($105), the motor ($115), power supply ($69 - but Amazon has it for $50), seals, filters, foam and a filter cover. The total repair charge would be $469.66. On top of the $110 it cost me to ship to them! There was no mention whatsoever about the receptacle, or the pin as part of the problem. I contacted CPAP medics and spoke to a woman who told me she was a family member of this 30 year old family business that does a lot of work for ResMed and they only perform work that meets Resmeds diagnostic standards. My beef with them is that they never mentioned the real problem (the pin) and the fix they required had nothing to do with the real problem (the PIN!) In my opinion they are clearly out to rip off the consumer by charging for work that does not need to be performed! I clearly stated that to the woman who I spoke to and that HER "family" business is absolutely looking to rip off the customer! I also told her that I would certainly alert folks on social media, as well as write to my CPAP company and the company that "recommended" them as a company that could help me. And that I would notify them, that this is NOT a company that should be recommended to HELP people! I did reach out to the RESMED distributor that recommended CPAPMedics, and was told they would never recommend this company again. I will also contact Resmed to alert them of this company's business plan which is clearly to overcharge customers. And quite obviously I have started to post on social media which includes Yelp. I will not stop the, as I did tell the woman I spoke with. My goal is to alert folks so they do not get ripped off! For $25 charge they are shipping the unit back. You should steer clear of this company! On a positive note...they did ship my unrepaired CPAP unit back quickly...unrepaired. Do not even engage this company! read more

I brought my CPAP in for investigative noise in the 13-year-old unit I was working on when I brought it in. However, it had a wheeze in it recently. So I thought before it goes down they told me they could examine it and get back to me the next day. Next day They told me it needed parts and the manufacturer does not make them anymore for this S9 unit. I said thanks and came back to pick it up. When I got home I set it back up and the unit would not go on at all. I call the manager to let her know I brought in to a gentlman to look at it and picked it up the next day from him. He said the motor was starting to go and that they don't make any parts for it. I called the women manager only to talk over me and said it was an old unit. I could not talk with her any longer do to her rude verbose mouth She someone that does not know anything about customer service.
