I am so happy that I discovered CPAP Services! The staff has been great, in particular, Dairelis Parra in the billing department. I'm on Medicare and am thrilled to have finally found a DME who is honest about their relationship with Medicare, communicates clearly about it, accepts the Medicare assigned amount for supplies, and does not bill the patient beyond what they are supposed to bill us. This may sound simply like common sense and decency, but after 6 months of seeking a reputable DME since I started on Medicare, I've been astonished by the behavior I've experienced elsewhere, in contrast to CPAP Services. The pattern I noticed with prior DMEs was when I calmly mentioned that I knew what my benefits and the rules were, I was met with hostility, even yelled at. I later learned that those DMEs were trying to break Medicare rules and hadn't been forthright about their relationship with Medicare - which meant they could get away with charging a whole lot more than we should be charged. I am relieved and delighted to have found a DME who shows me respect, responds promptly, listens, and follows the rules. Especially if you're on Medicare, I encourage you to consider working with CPAP Services. read more

I have had a great experience with CPAP services for over a decade. My husband and I have been getting our CPAP machines and supplies through them for years, and we have never had a problem. Recently when my daughter needed a CPAP we were irritated that he'd doctors office sent the DME order to a different provider, but we didn't think much about it. We thought it might be have had to do with her being a pediatric patient, but as time went on, we noticed that they sent us a machine that was not the one the doctor prescribed. They never sent the heated tubing, they billed our insurance company for heated tubing but sent a note in the package that said it was because of COVID restrictions (it's 2026!!!!!) that they had to swap the tubing out for A CHIN STRAP! They didn't even send tubing at all! Super Care was the name of the place and you should stay away from them at all costs. I contacted my daughter's doctor and told him about the situation. He ended their contract and I told him to send the order to CPAP Services instead. Loan Chau helped me get things all squared away for myself (I was due for a new machine) and my daughter! Loan was kind and helpful, and I can't imagine going anywhere else! Now that I have seen just how bad some of these DME companies are, I can't do enough to tell people to use CPAP Services instead! I have never once had an hiccups with them in the decades of time I have been going there. All their employees are helpful and supportive. I also had help from Michael Clarin and a few other employees that I can't remember all their names right now. The whole team has been so helpful through this! They are very well organized at multiple levels. First they on the phone communicated well regarding the business of getting the prescription from the doctor, making sure Medicare and the secondary insurance were available to pay for the machine, and scheduling my appointment in person to get introduced to the machine. Big shout out to Armando who was the technician who introduced me to the machine in their San Jose office. He was calm, polite, in no hurry, and willing to answer and explain lots of questions. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a travel, CPAP machine, and he let me try one there in the office so I can make an informed decision. Spoke with Angel about an issue with AirSense 11. He confirmed new settings to eliminate moisture and an issue with SmartStart. He explained that there was a 2-year warranty so I could bring machine in if issues persist or return. Angel also checked to see that my AirMini was reporting properly through my Bluetooth when traveling. He took his time to answer questions and was very thorough. read more

CPAP Services in San Jose is excellent in helping new CPAP users understand how to use their equipment. Their infinite patience always impresses me. They also follow up beautifully when it's time to renew equipment. With respect to this part of their business, I rate this company a 5. However, when it comes to getting help on setting up an account on their website or trying to understand what to do if an account is accidentally set up "partially" (the message their system tells me), then the response is zero. I have had ongoing issues with this account problem and trying to see invoices online since November 2024. The "fix" was to send me paper invoices which unfortunately arrive shortly before the payment is due. For March, I didn't even receive the paper invoice. Don't bother calling the phone number for billing questions, no one answers or calls back. From my perspective, I need to speak with someone who can delete whatever partial account exists in my name. And then help me create a new account so it's done accurately. If I can sit with the person while doing all this, that would help me understand how this system functions. At the moment, it's a mystery. Thus, my low score. read more

I had mask that seemed fine during my trial period but I found that I was struggling with the fit. I searched Yelp and found CPAP Services and dropped in. I have had communication issue with this company before even obtaining my machine. After obtaining my machine, communication actually got worse. There have been multiple emails that I sent that were never replied to whether requesting supplies or questions about my machine. I've had to spend significant time to track down an answer or get someone to talk to me, waiting over a week for no email reply before tracking down some help in corporate. I assumed the standard would be 24-72 hours as this is a medical need. The company itself does not seem to train employees well as I get different information depending who I talk to. I feel like I have to check back in with them if they are doing their job. This company is a medical supplier who I felt, did not care about my health. Without proper information, I was unable to make informed medical choices which directly negatively affected my health. No one will pick up the phone, it auto connects you to a voicemail after 5 minutes so I don't even believe that someone is actively answering the main line. Every voicemail I have left was never returned. The only thing that worked was going to their main company site and submitting a complaint to the corporate office who then routed it the local office. They probably have to prove they met this quota which is why this is the only way I have been contacted other than when I finally got the email of the manager. The manager did email me back, but also did not provide clear communication standards when I met her in person, telling me something different in email. While it is hard to know if a random person on the internet actively listened, my experience has overall felt like gaslighting. I cannot handle the stress of dealing with this incompetent company with changing standards and no follow up communication in almost all scenarios. One of the worse experiences of my life, trying to do something better for my health to have a company that seems indifferent to the people bringing in their revenue who are vulnerable because they need this service. read more

I've spoken with Tito in tech support twice since I started on my sleep therapy - about some issues regarding the machine settings and nose pillow fit. Always check with your insurance if the CPAP vendor is your in-network vendor list. Before you make your part of the payment to the CPAP vendor , check with your insurance if that is what your part of the payment is and what they are paying the CPAP company. I made a mistake of not checking and lost a whole lot of money.( Entire price of the machine was charged as co-pay) since the vendor was out of network ( never revealed to me) read more

I have been with CPAP Serivces for many years now. I went to them on a whim when I needed supplies right away, and remembered them as a place where a friend worked in Reception at the time. I got great service, despite them being out-of-network at the time. Happy to report that both the in-person and telephone service have both only been 5-star, especially before and now that COVID is here. Everyone that I have encountered in the office have been professional and friendly. However, if it were possible, I would give 6 stars each to what I consider a "dream team:" Loan Chao on the Technician side and Elise Alford on the backend/phone side. These ladies have been a-ma-zing! I've had the pleasure of working with Loan at her previous company. By chance, one day I walked into CPAP Services and there she was! I was beyond thrilled. She is so warm and friendly that we hugged each other while jumping up and down (this was, obviously, pre-COVID). I started dealing with Elise after receiving her info from my insurance company. She was even kind enough to give me her direct extension! I especially appreciate her tenacity - she has helped me find information for some not-easily-solved situations. If you are looking for a reliable DME company, I would highly recommend them! My last visit was this past Friday, where I went to pick up my new machine. Elise scheduled me with Loan. Loan did a fabulous job, taking all the proper precautionary measures. The office itself also did, limiting the capacity to two patients (I was the only one when I went).
