I had gone to this store to get a screen replaced on a Samsung A7 tablet. They did a great job. Today I I took my new Samsung A9 Plus in to ask fir help setting it up. The instructions that came with it were confusing right off the bat. The tech told me the instructions were not correct and quickly set up the tablet for me. He refused to charge me for this. I wanted to reward his help by purchasing something and asked about a screen protector. He said they didn't have one a d I should purchase one online. Replaced my iPhone screen. The replacement screen is of good quality and working great but not an apple part. My only suggestion; tell the customer that on I phones there will be a permanent red 1 notification on the settings app indicating the screen is not a genuine apple part. I was told CPR signed a contract with Apple that prevented them from placing the chip that would remove the notification. If you are OCD this will be like a big zit to you. Happy with the screen replacement, I'll deal with the OCD. read more

They use good quality OEM parts so they might not have them in stock. Call first to make sure they they have your part before you go in, even if you get an email saying "we are ready for your repair, stop by anytime" It will save you some time. Also, the owner of this business is very responsive, if you have an issue, give him the opportunity to correct it. read more

For three years, since I bought it, my iPhone has buzzed whenever haptic feedback (vibrator) went off. Probably a loose screw. Dropped off an iPad for a shattered screen. Customer Service was great and the price was good. I had price shopped around before I stopped by this location (I wish this place had cost repair estimates online but they don't). However, the price was within par and perhaps a bit cheaper than some of the other places in town. I dropped my device off at 9am and got a call at 11:15am that it was ready. Device was fixed as good as new. I'll definitely be using this place again for any future issues with my phones or tablets. read more

Fast replacement of a battery in an iPhone 6s. Completed in the promised time at the quoted price Unfortunately the screen was damaged during the replacement - about 1/10 of the top left showing darker than the rest. When I inquired about this, CPR advised they had inspected the screen prior to the battery replacement and had seen the damage. Don't think so - the screen was fine when I took it in. Will take my business elsewhere next time, and I'm glad my phone is nearing hand-down-to-the-kids time. read more

I've been here three times. The first time was when my phone was water damaged a couple years back. The guy there was super helpful, polite, and no complaints on the repair. Went back earlier this year for a tablet repair. Two young women working there, with no smiles, not even bothered to pretend like I matter, and gave me major attitude from when I walked in. No clue why. After a $100 repair the tablet started working. Went back again because same issue with tablet. The same young woman started rudely asking me how I used the tablet, basically telling me it was my fault it stopped working. I felt like a kid being yelled at by my Mom for not taking care of my stuff! (for the record I'm old enough to be her mother). Not sure why the major attitude again. If I didn't have a warranty on my repair I would not have gone back there. If I have a choice in the future, I will not be returning there. I'm sure there are plenty of other repair places in the city where I won't be treated like crap and like they're doing me a favor by taking my money. Maybe if they have a staffing change I'll consider going back. Update: the owner reached out to me, was apologetic and asked if I would give his store another chance. I said I would. When I went back to pick up my tablet, the staff were polite and pleasant, and they waived a minor fee associated with the repair. If I could give this place Zero starts I would. They have a sign that says if the screen gives out its under warranty. I have brought my phone to this place multiple times and every single time they say that "there is physical damage to the phone" when the lcd screen gives out. Went there one week forgot the guys name all I remember is he had long hair, he repaired my galaxy s7, but i spent around like $230 to get it fixed, when I got my phone back it had dents on the side. I let it slide but a couple of weeks later half of my screen goes out, so I take it in to get repaired, the guy wouldn't even honor the life time warranty which states it is invalid if there is "WATER DAMAGE/DAMAGE TO SCREEN" which I had neither, I was told to speak to the manager which he is out of town Coincidentally. I will NOT go back. I have used this location before, my first visit was abt one year ago & the service was efficient, good customer service skills, and my phone was done quickly as well as the quoted price honored. I took my I-pad in today & was quoted $120.00 to replace my cracked screen, the young man who helped me was not in the mood to do his job, he acted as if I was interrupting his nap. They stated it would be completed at 12 & they would call me. By 3 o'clock I hadn't heard anything so I called, when the phone was answered again I felt like I interrupted a nap, I couldn't hear or understand the young man on the phone. I stated my name & asked if my I-pad was ready & it took several tries before I could understand what was being said. I understand techies don't deal with people to much, but some basic customer service skills go a long way. So the young man who originally replaced my screen was super cool and said if I had any problems just bring it back. Less than a week later the phone was acting possessed taking random pictures and not responding at all. The skinny chick who was there when I brought the possessed phone back, It was actually calling 911 and activating itself, engaged me suspiciously. When I picked it up she acted like I was eating food with the phone as a utensil and bathing white scrubbing my feet with the phone, she actually threatened me because I hadn't disclosed previous water damage or something, and was generally extremely nasty and accusatory. She was all you are legally required to report blah blah blah. It reminded me of when someone at Pete's Pets accused me of mutilating a goldfish when I returned it after noticing it's eye was missing. read more

They may be good at cell phone repair as their name suggests, but don't take your computer to them. I took in my 5 year old ASUS desktop tower in because it seemed to have gotten a virus. It was flickering and would not open any files. After three weeks, and two trips to their store (once to provide my power cord and another to provide a blank USB for my data), I finally got my computer back. Even though I was told that they would save as much data as possible before upgrading windows 7 to windows 10, all that was saved were pictures. I re-loaded what I could and now experiencing the same symptoms; can't open files and flickering. If I hard boot, can open files/websites for a short time and then it locks up again. Today I took my phone to CPR cell phone repair to have the cracked screen replaced. Sprint had also told me that I needed a new charger port. Zach at CPR examined my phone and said the charger port was fine. I then mentioned to Zach that I can't get Android Auto to work in my new car and that 3 guys at Rich Ford had tried to set it up with no success. Rich Ford wanted me to bring the car in and leave it for 24 to 48 hours so they could do a diagnostic on it to find out why Android Auto didn't work. When I told Zach this he offered to look at it for me. BINGO! Zach set it up and it works great. Thank you Zach. You are awesome. CPR gives a quick turn around and fantastic customer service. Horrible!!! I had a "lifetime" tempered glass put on my apple watch at about noon on Saturday. The store representative left bubbles everywhere but he said "they work themselves out". Within 1 hour the right corner had a pressure crack. I touched the screen to use my watch and the crack extended everywhere. I went back to the CPR store because a lifetime screen protector shouldn't last 1 hour. The representative said he would replace it for $10. I argued with him that if it was put on correctly in the first place the pressure crack (AND bubbles) wouldn't have happened. He apologized and gave me the manager (Zach's) number. Zach was no help!! He said that since the screen was cracked it had to have been due to my use. Therefore I had to pay to have it replaced. Zach patronized me and acted like I didn't know what tempered glass is. Poor service! You never talk down to a customer!!! $10 is not a big deal. Arguing with a customer is!!!! Go elsewhere or purchase on Amazon. read more
