My Galaxy Flip 4 open and saw its screen flip...and crack. I thought I'd try a new place and brought the phone to CPR on the Friday before Labor Day. I figured it was a serious repair (since the flip isn't a common phone) and when they said it'd be ready Tuesday, I totally understood. When you drop off your phone, they give you a code to see where things are in the repair. This info NEVER updated while they had the phone. I called around end of day Tuesday and they said the part was delayed - it'll be ready Wednesday. After they called M'Lady to say it'd be ready by close on Wednesday, that's when I arrived and...it wasn't ready. Even after they called her Thursday morning to say it was actually ready, I gave them over an hour beyond just in case. When I paid, they asked for a tip. Guys - it was 2 days late on YOUR timeline, not mine. If you'd tell me (or update the ticket) there were delays earlier on, I'd totally understand...but you didn't. I just wanted to get out of there with the phone. The screen looks great, but now the ear speaker doesn't work. I'm sure I could drop it off for them to fix, but I can't go nearly another week without my phone while I'm left in the dark wondering what's happening. I don't know if they've got too much work and not enough employees, or why their communication is so poor, but there are plenty of other options out there. read more

I just had an UNBELIEVABLE experience at CPR: Alex, kindly proprietor, fixed a Mac that wasn't holding a charge (it had been left out all night and irrigated in the morning) -- FOR NOTHING!!! Who does that? The Apple Store genius bar in Glendale offered to do the job for $799 yesterday. Alex had the knowledge -- AND THE HEART -- to do the right thing. This is the first time I brought my phones here to be repaired and I was not disappointed! One phone needed the screen replaced and the other one (apparently had no issues ) I thought it needed the battery replaced because it kept turning off. They replaced the screen at a reasonable price and ran diagnostics on the other phone, which showed that there was no issue. They really could have been dishonest and replaced the battery and I wouldn't have known better, for being honest and nice they have gained a new customer! Don't bring your devices. I've taken the same phone here twice and still having issues with the screen. The first time, my screen broke and had it replaced here... a few weeks later... the screen went black... took it back, now the phone is doing the same thing again... it also changes colors ot of nowhere. I was incredibly happy with the service I received here yesterday. My 8 year old, without my permission, decided to use my iPad. She dropped it, the glass shattered, and I was left wondering how this was going to be fixed. This place was close to home, and I was so happy when I walked in to see how clean it was. I felt at ease leaving it with them, I was able to go down a block to grab some coffee at Starbucks while they fixed it. There was plenty of street parking out front and there's also parking around the corner. It took them about an hour to fix it, and I walked out $80 less in my pocket, but the iPad was fixed. I thought they were priced very fairly. I have also had no issues with the screen since I took it back. Everything is secure and seems to have been done properly. I was really disappointed. I made an appointment for today online and filled in what kind of phone I had and that I was looking for a battery replacement. I also noted that I was hoping someone could tell me how much this would cost. No one emailed me or called based on this, which I THOUGHT was fine, and didn't bother me. Except that I took time out of my day today to make my appointment on time. I handed over my phone and the gentleman behind the counter turned off my Find My iPhone, which seems... shady? Was there a reason for this? No clue. He didn't tell me. Then he went in the back and came back out only to tell me that they didn't have the battery in stock, should get it later this week, and to call back and make another appointment. Someone could have emailed or called based on my appointment to tell me the battery wasn't in stock. Waste of my time and no, I won't be making a future appointment to waste more time. read more

Worst service. I turned my 11 in under warranty repair for a broken screen. Received the phone 4 days later than quoted and now the phone fails to operate properly. I had my Samsing Galaxy S8 battery changed by CPR in 2020. I was happy with my new battery and they did it in about an hour. Fast forward to Oct 2023. I had them replace the battery in my Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Took an hour just like last time. But my phone was the same. :-( They either put in a used battery or didn't replace it all. For $90 I was very upset but didn't have the patience to go back and complain. I ended up just buying a newer phone at T-Mobile. But buyer beware. read more

Let me start off by explaining that I have brought my phone here multiple times. I'm not embarrassed to say that two of those MULTIPLE times, my phone looked like it was DONE. CPR cell phone repair was friendly and extremely helpful. Each time was a great and quick experience. I paid $100 each time. Yesterday, my phone went in for another repair. This time I was not as nervous about the repair as it didn't look as bad as previous times. Hell, I was able to text still, and look at videos on YouTube. Anyway, the phone was taken in and we were told an hour later the phone couldn't be repaired. They were super nice about it but I thought it was odd bc as I mentioned above, my phone was still working. It just needed a new screen. The gentleman tried selling us a phone just like mine, used, for $350. We politely declined. He asked if I wanted to leave the phone or pick it up. To which I replied "I'm picking it up." I couldn't get it off my mind. I was reluctant to let my phone go. I had this feeling that he was trying to make $350 instead of the $100. I took it to another cellphone repair shop and my phone was ready in 45 mins. I paid $70 bucks AND THEY DIDNT NEED MY PASSWORD TO FIX MY PHONE. I felt so much better!!!! Now I'm wondering why they ask for my password at this place but didn't need my password in the other place. Hmmm I'm just glad my phone is fixed. I'm writing a review bc I felt like it was really sketchy. We're they trying to keep my phone for parts?? We're they going to restore it and cell it for $350 to some other sucker?? Imagine that?? Anyway, if you're reading this. Shop around. Make some calls before you settle on a place. And CPR I'm still really grateful for the previous times you fixed my phone.
