So I'm writing this review while I'm still parked in front of the business. Honestly, this little repair shop trumps all other iPhone repair places. They are welcoming, personable, honest, and fair. I won't say what other shop I've been to to get my shattered screen fixed because this isn't about them, but the second he opened my phone up, he let me know that the previous store that repaired my screen didn't do a very good job at all. The mic on my iphone was not working. Apple told me it would cost $140 to repair and take two hours and they needed to replace the whole display. GREAT SERVICE AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR ABILITIES! GREAT BUSINESS! I bought a T-mobile Galaxy S4 from a stranger on Craigslist. I took the phone to Jack at Talk and Text Wireless and he said he'd need 24hours and 30$ to unlock the phone. Before doing so, he looked up the phone to make sure it was not blacklisted and discovered it was still being financed by the original owner. Without being prompted, he informed me that the phone was eligible to be black listed, there for he could still do the unlock but if the carrier decided to, they could overwrite his work and still blacklist the phone. EXTREMELY HONEST MAN! I Appreciated the information and his professionalism, he could of unlocked the phone, gotten paid and moved on to the next customer, but thats not how these guys operate. After thinking about it, I went forward with process. As he said, it took 24 hours, I came in for the pick up; he had the phone ready and tried another sims card in the phone to ensure me it was working, i had 4g access and no errors. It's been almost 3 weeks since and i'm running Straight Talk seamlessly on AT&T towers and my phone is running it's 4G faster than my wife's Verizon IPhone! These fellas are good and know what they are doing. SN: The shop is clean and the two staff members i worked with were down to earth, funny honest people. I wish more establishments operated like this these days. My iPhone dropped into a puddle of water, and although the screen was completely black, the phone was still working. I could tell because it was still dinging/vibrating when someone would call or text. I noticed this place on Yelp, called and asked if he could help, and he said to bring it in and he would look at it. After two minutes he handed me back my iPhone and said it was just some corrosion on the connections that had built up. He cleaned it, it now works fine, and he was kind enough to do it for free. Where most places like this would have taken it into the back and then said it needed some $50 part, this man was honest and did a simple little two minute job for free, rather than price gouging me. I am always hesitant to take my iPhone to third party repair stores, but thought I try this place since I needed my phone fixed in a hurry.
