The only place I go for cell phone repair in Chico for my iPhone. I've replaced my phone's screen, back, and battery over the last few years and always been very pleased. Reasonable cost IMO and pretty quick turnaround times. Depending on what he needs to order, he usually can get me in the next day, and then the repair doesn't take too long either (maybe an hour or so?) The person that runs it is awesome - no nonsense and easy to work with. I enjoy his personality and the brief small talk with him. I think prices may be a bit higher than what you can get around town, but he is using the authentic Apple parts. He openly told me once I can shop around and probably find a lower price but to "pay attention to [such and such] and ask if they're using [whatever method or part] as they can charge less if they do it that way but it could make an inferior repair." Maybe I'm just being fooled, but it doesn't seem like it to me! If anything is ever wrong (rare), I'm confident he will make it right because I've experienced it. After getting the back replaced, there was a smudge or speck behind one of the camera lenses. I called, and the repair technician took care of it right away. Of course, this means it wasn't perfect the first time, but we are working with humans after all! Making it right with no trouble speaks volumes. read more

I went to Chico's CPR store and had them replace my battery on my Samsung Note 8 phone. As far as I can tell the new battery is ok. After I left I discovered that local cellphone repair companies charge a lot less than what I paid and that CPR is not local. So although CPR appears to have done an ok job friends have now told me about other cellphone repair shops in Chico that also have knowledgable repair people and so if saving money is important to you I suggest checking CPR's prices and compare them to local competitors that aren't part of a franchise. read more

I chose this place based on the rave reviews. I called them for a replacement for my broken iPad screen and was told that it would take a few days to get the screen in and to bring in my iPad at the end of the week. Showed up and was told that they didn't order the screen and that it would take a few more days to get the screen in. That was a week and a half ago and I still have not heard back from them. Edit- In response to the owners reply, I didn't have a time frame in mind, I was given one by you. If there is going to be time issues, it should be something that you should relay to your customers so that they aren't sitting and wondering if their items are going to be repaired or not. read more
