It was a fairly quick and simple process. I filed a claim through my phone insurance for my damaged screen in my S21 and this particular store was listed as an option. The hardest part was being without my phone during the time it was being worked on but it was a needed break. My phone was not charging and had took it to a phone repair shop near Keystone Fashion mall, they quoted me $150 for a charging port repair (which before, i've only paid $60 and came out just fine) not only that but 'general labor' for doing a simple port cleanup would've costed $50. After leaving absolutely disgusted at those prices I went to the nearest phone repair shop, CPR Cell Phone Repair, as soon as I walked in I was attended. I informed the gentleman at the desk about my phone, and he told me to give him a second to do a quick clean up, and just like that not even 2 minutes after he came out, with what felt like a brand new Iphone 12 pro. I stopped by CPR to figure out why my home button wasn't working. First technician diagnosed problem within an hour, moved forward with repair on my iPhone 5 and was completely repaired within two hours. Technician says he tested the battery and it was "at 100%, so you're all good there." So brought my phone home and was ecstatic that my home button was working again. After a couple of days, I took my protective cover off of my phone and noticed that the screen was bulging slightly. I thought I'd stop back in to CPR the following week thinking it was something like a screw missing. Within a week, my screen was bulging even more and my home button stopped working - again. When I went back into CPR, the woman at the front was very friendly, very nice. She checked in my phone and told me Ben would be my technician. Ben called within 60 minutes and told me it was my battery. I was mad, especially since the first tech told me I had no issues with my battery, and then within ten days I was back at CPR. Not cool. Not a coincidence. Ben agreed, put me on hold, came back and said that CPR would replace my battery for free, because the first tech should have caught it. I was floored by the level of customer service!! When we went back in to pick up the phone two hours later, the woman at the front desk was super sweet, she gave me my phone and even spoke with my four year old and gave her a CPR pen. I really appreciate the level of customer service and will use CPR services again, but I will probably ask for Ben, seems like he knows what he's doing and more importantly likes what he's doing. read more

I would 1st like to state that I do not normally write reviews, let alone a negative one. But CPR really rubbed me the wrong way. I was referred to CPR by Best Buy Geek squad, as they do not handle the issue I needed addressed. I came in and was told that the weekend tech was not in and that he would be in on Monday at 10am. I arrived on Monday and was there shortly before opening time, as the store was to be open at 10am. At 10:15am no one had shown up to open the store, so I called another CPR location to see what was going on. They had no idea and stated that someone should be there and that they would call someone to see what was going on. About 10 minutes later someone finally showed up and looked like they just rolled out of bed. I went in the store and explained to the individual what the weekend person had told me about the repair tech being in today. He proceeds to tell me that the tech would not be in and they were hoping he would be in on Tuesday. I'm not sure who is the manager or who is in charge, but they obviously have some issues that need to be addressed. They do not seem to know what is going on, and lack communication between the employees. Peoples time is valuable and they wasted my time, not once ,but twice. I run a business for a living and if I ran my business this way, I would probably be out of business. I was lucky enough to find another computer repair company to fix my issue, which they did so very promptly and at a reasonable price. I would not recommend CPR to anyone at this point. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

They're open earlier than anywhere else in the Indy area. Had my iPhone 6S+ broken screen repaired in time for a very important 11:00am business call. Repair was completed at price quoted. They performed a thorough function test before and after to make sure everything was performing as it should. Very professional, polite and accommodating to the urgent needs of my situation. I took a phone in to replace a cracked screen, and at checkin the staff verified that each and every part of the phone was in working order. When they tried to first return the phone to me, a sensor had ceased functioning correctly. Upon idenfitying the new fault, I pushed back and requested that they try again at the repair, but they continually insisted that the issue was not with their parts or workmanship, but rather with my phone. I did not accept this answer, as they verified it was working before they serviced it. The staff tried 4+ times to send me out of the store with a faulty phone, rather than acknowledging that their repair may not have been successful; they were insistent that my broken sensor was working as designed, which was 100% untrue. Fortunately for me, I insisted that they fix what was very clearly a problem caused by CPR. For 90 minutes, I listened to the staff berate me, other customers, and my device, probably thinking that I was out of earshot. The technician behind the not-so-soundproof wall complained that replacing my "$4 Crapple part" wasn't worth his time, yet he thought I should pay many times that amount for their poor workmanship. Eventually, after I insisted multiple times that I would not leave without a proper repair, one of these technicians decided that maybe the part was faulty, and that they could try again with another piece. Who would have guessed? Simply trying again with a new part fixed the problem! If you're going to this store and one of these employees tries to shoo you away after a lousy attempt at a repair, don't take their garbage advice and accept a broken device - push back and make them do their actual jobs. This review would be completely different had the staff had simply acknowledged the problem with the repair and tried again to fix it, rather than repeatedly trash-talking their clients and trying to peddle broken parts. read more

I took my iPhone 5s in as the charge port was loose and only charging intermittently and I had to hold the charge cable in a certain position for the phone to charge. Additionally the phone's battery was working at 34%. I had CPR replace the charge port and battery, cost was right around $90.00, so better than buying a new or used phone. Highly recommend CPR to repair your phone. You might be without your phone for a few hours or over night if you drop off late in the day. So make arrangements for receiving texts or calls. read more

This business provided super quick helpful service. My iPhone 6s Plus had a broken screen and I was going out of the country on vacation in less than 24 hours. I called and they said if I could come by 5 they could do it that day! Got there at 4. Came back at 6:30 and ta-dah all fixed. And for less than others charge (including Apple). Wonderful. My only negative remark is that the new screen protector they sold me was flimsy and fit badly and adhered badly. The technician was kept hopping but was super nice and professional. DO NOT HAVE YOUR PHONE REPAIRED HERE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT AN INFERIOR PRODUCT! I took my iPhone 7 here to have the screen replaced. After the repair, I noticed that the color was off a bit, but thought that I could adjust it in settings. Nope... brightness is the only adjustment available. I also noticed that the screen was really slow compared to the original screen; it was not nearly as responsive as before. I had to tap icons and letters while typing text several times before they would register. I called CPR and asked if the replacement parts were original. Tyler was immediately defensive! He told me that no third party vendor could get original Apple parts (turns out to be a complete lie), he also claimed that a screen replacement at the Apple store is $399 (also a complete lie), and then told me to bring my phone back in and they would put the old cracked screen back on it. He was TOTALLY unprofessional. I asked to speak to a manager. Jason got on the phone and I realized why Tyler speaks to customers the way that he does...Jason, the manager, was INCREDIBLY rude. He told me that it was my fault since I didn't ask if the replacement screen was original Apple OEM product from the beginning. I made every attempt to keep our conversation on an adult level, but these people act like children. Customer service is foreign to them. BTW, I paid $109 for the screen replacement at CPR with a Groupon (original cost $179). I had it repaired properly at the Apple store at Keystone Crossing for $129. Bottom line... if you have an iPhone, take it to the Apple store! These guys are a joke! read more

I normally don't post reviews but I thought I should post it for this particular store. I had my IPhone screen replaced at this store. Overall they are very fast. However, they use cheap screens. They need to take a lesson in customer service. On my phone, the replaced screen is unresponsive sometimes. I asked the customer service person about this and he was extremely rude and condescending. He completely disregarded my concern and started arguing. There was not even a slightest concern about the repair that they had done. It was like - "we took your money, replaced the screen, now GET OUT of our store". I left the place with a complete disappointment. If you are looking for a screen repair, don't go here. For only a little extra ($50 in my case), Apple store will replace it. I regret it everyday when I look at my phone. read more

I chose to bring a phone here for a senior, who only has a cell phone, no land line. (While the phone repair in the City Market, I was on the north side, so took phone here.) The employee took several calls while taking down my info. I think that businesses shouldn't take calls while filling out repair orders, wasting their present customer's time. Why do callers get to interrupt,cut in front of customers in the store? Let the call go to voice mail, or have enough staff on hand to take calls! I left the phone with CPR. Days went by. No word about repair. Four days in, called, and they were waiting on a part, they said. Seven days, still waiting. Who is your supplier?? In 2016, that seems inordinately long. CPR did not initiate any calls, to explain repair delay. Finally, day nine, I received a call. They were wrong about the cause of the malfunction, so the part they ordered didn't work, so I'd need to replace phone, anyway. What an irritating, stupid experience. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend this place for cell phone repair. read more

I don't normally post reviews but I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of. I took my IPod to these guys because it wasn't turning on. I gave it to them and explained that it would not turn on unless it was plugged up to a charger and even then it would not load up for me to be able to play my music and videos. They took it in the back and came back out and said that I would need a new battery and that would fix it. I said no problem and approved the repair. They then ordered the wrong battery and had to send off for the right one about a week passes buy and no one calls me to update me what is going on. I finally called them and they said that it was done and wasn't sure why no one called me to tell me. I showed up the next day to pick my iPod up and the same problem I had before was happening. The tech said the battery was dead and needed to go home and hook it up to my iTunes and it will work. I did that left it charging on my computer for 24hrs. Still the same issue I had the day I brought it to them. I took it back to them and they said they would look at it and give me a call. A few days later they call me and told me that the problem with my iPod was that a part of it needed to be sauntered and they don't do that so i needed to come and pick it up. I asked them since they didn't fix my iPod do I get my money back and they said NO! They said that I approved the repair and was not entitled a refund. I explained the only reason I approved the battery replacement was because they said it would fix my iPod. All they would say was that there was nothing they could do and to come pickup my iPod. I asked if I could talk with the owner or get their email but they told me that I didn't need to speak with him and refused to give me his contact info. I now have a iPod that still doesn't work and these guys took my money. I've learned that they are closing down soon no shocker there. They are very unprofessional and I would not recommend this place to anyone read more
