Went to this location because it was close. They were busy and I asked for a pedicure. Got a good clipping from one of the men, then one of the women painted my nails. She spilled acetone on my leg because she was in a hurry to service another customer. Burned really bad. I said something before I left. They wiped my leg with a cloth and rubbed some lotion on it. Got worse throughout the day. Went back to ask for my money back. Didn't ask if I was ok or if it was infectious. Gave me my money back without looking at my leg. Won't go back again. read more

I came here for shellac manicure and the girl who did them did a very very bad job. She got the polish all over my cuticles, there are bumps and air bubbles in the polish she didn't bother to fix. Halfway through I asked if she was going to fix any of it and someone else had to come try to fix them. The guy who fixed them tried to fix but they still looked like my toddler painted them for me. This place is amazing! I had been going to snappy nails for years but one day the wait was too long, so I tried this place. I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I know what nail care quality is like. Im very please with the Shellac/manicure I received today from this establishment today. Very thorough job. Cuticles were nicely trimmed and polish was even and pretty. I had a pedicure and acrylic nails done. I had made an appointment. When I got there, I still had to wait about 15 minutes before someone was ready to start the pedicure. I don't know her name as she never even introduced herself nor did she even ask my name. Normally, pedicures are relaxing. Not this one! The gal that did it seemed very rushed. In fact, it actually hurt a little. She started on my nails. By this time, I was nervous. Shortly after that, another employee came over. She got up and walked away (not a word to me) and he finished my nails. He actually did a pretty good job on my nails. Even so, the experience was bad so I would never recommend going here. Sister and I went there it too then 45 minutes for them to get to us even when there was two girl that were just wondering the solan. My sister got a rebase and I got a full set. The girl doing my sisters nails just completely left in the middle of my sister getting her nails done just to go over and do someone else's nails, after having her wait for 20 minutes she finally goes back to my sister to finish her nails. Mean while my guy doing my nails are very rough with my hand and the shaping of my nails are uneven he was checking ever 3 seconds to see if they are even but they still weren't. I asked for a marble design and he said that it wouldn't look the same and I said yes I understand not even marble is gonna look the same. He literally put a black dot on my nail and scribbled into it and nothing else. It looks like a 3 year old did my nail. I asked the lady that this wasn't a good set I had and all she did was look at me weird and rushed to get us out of there. We were both done by the same girl, my sister in law ended up in the emergency room and I went to the doctor. Both of us the same infection. I stumbled across this place because I lived across the street. My prior manicurist was booked and I had a special event. I walked in thinking that whatever they did would be later fixed by my at the time manicurist and was willing to just deal with it. Wow, was I surprised! I don't think I will be going back to this place. One major thing that I didn't like was their customer service. The lady didn't talk at all and on top of that, she was going a little too hard with my hands when she was pushing my cuticles back. I have a high tolerance for pain, but this hurt!! At the end when she was massaging my arms and hands, that also hurt.. She was too rough!! And of course, she was rushing me, it was pretty obvious. They had national geographic on their TV, which was a bad idea because here I am getting a manicure and watching lions tear up other animals. It just wasn't your "ideal manicure." I asked my nail tech to make them a little narrower and he did but not enough so I eventually gave up and just left them be. Will not be returning. Too bad, CQ. I visited CQ for the first time 3'weeks ago and had shellac put on my nails. Great so far. I went back yesterday and just wanted regular polish. Removing shellac is very hard on your nails and wears down the enamel. I had a manicure and polish for $15. After one day the polish was blistering and peeling, not great. I returned to the shop and asked for a refund as this is not what was expected. You would have thought I wanted to rob the store! No refunds, they said only a redo of polish. Why would I want to spend another 45 minutes getting my nails done only to have them peel again in one day! I argued my case for 15 minutes with a manicurist until the owner came over and almost threw my refund at me and told me never to come back. I drove by CQ nails when I was in town visiting family & stopped in. The staff was very welcoming to everyone, including walkins. I had a mani/pedi with the gel polish nails. My nails were in really terrible shape beforehand & they made them look good. My only complaint is that the polish didn't get as close to the bottom of my nail as I would have liked, so you will see the regrowth faster. Overall, the staff was friendly, the prices were competitive, and the quality of work was good. I would definitely go back if I need my nails done while I am in Denver. read more

I was in town visiting and looking for a nail shop close to my hotel. Most places nearby didn't have good reviews. I tried going to American Nails, I believe. But they had a 2 hr wait with about 5 customers and 1 person working. It was a Tuesday around 1pm. I called CQ. They told me they could get me right in. I was there in about 5 minutes for a mani & pedi. I didn't plan on getting Shelac because my last experience back home getting Shelac was terrible. The woman convinced me and did a great job. She said Shelac would be a good idea on my hands, but we did regular polish on the toes. She was very nice and I wish I lived here. It's hard to find a good nail place sometimes! I moved across the street of them about 5 months ago, and so I've been going to them ever since (lived in Brighton before, went to Kim at Elite Nails. Who is the best) I simply cannot do it any more. The owner guy, Andy I think his name is, is so rude! When he gets frustrated he starts to yell at me! YES, me the customer! They don't write your name down when you call for an appt. so no one knows what's going on! once I had to wait almost 30 minutes, I got up and was about to leave when the main lady begged me to stay..... well, today was the LAST STRAW. I will NEVER go back... I literally live 200 steps away and I would rather DRIVE TO BRIGHTON than save the gas and go to CQ Nails.... you guys blew it this time.... trust me. I have never in my life had such a bad experience at a nail salon. I had the only man in there do my nails, I had a picture and they were long coffin shaped nails with a design on 3 fingers, he asked me about 20 questions and I kept telling him, I want them exactly like they are in the picture, (black and silver?) yes, I want them exactly like the picture. (Long) yes, I want them exactly like the picture. He was watching the football game, and cut me 9 TIMES to the extent of me bleeding. Like uncontrollably, to where they had to be disenfected and superglued shut so they would stop bleeding. They were as long as my normal nails, oval and had no design on them. I was so irritated and IN PAIN. Not to mention when I first showed him the photo he said $40 and I didn't even get the designs and was charged $58? If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Customer service is horrible and no care or concern that the customer is right. Got nails filled and a pedicure on Sunday, while there, I told the guy that did my nails that he was being too rough and cutting my cuticle with the drill. Also left the drill on too long, which gets hot and burns. As he was putting the acrylic on, I noticed a nail was not fully filled with a acrylic and I pointed it out to him. He explained it will be ok once I'm done. When I was done, and getting ready to check out, I inspected the nail again and informed him that it was just going to crack and I'd be right back in here a couple days later, he replied, "don't worry, if it breaks, I fix free". That is not the point!!!! I should not have to take more time out of my day to come back after I have already waited 30 min to get in in the first place. Well, here it is, 2 days later and 2 of my nails are broken because they are too thin and 3 of my toes have chipped paint. I go in to have them fix it and it's now another 15 minute wait!!! Are you serious! I was just in here Sunday and now 2 days later I have broken nails and you want me to wait more? No thank you! I'll just get my nails done elsewhere!
