It was pretty busy when I stopped by but the staff were great at staying on top of taking orders and getting drinks and snacks to customers. They had a decent size indoor space. Very few options for flavored espresso drinks, but they do make their syrups in-house. I ordered a latte that was burned and they didn't add the flavor syrup I paid extra for. Breakfast sandwich was large but came with 2 thin, barely cooked pieces of bacon so the bread and egg was all you could taste in most bites. Again, I paid extra to add bacon to the sandwich, so I expected it to be a better quality than what I get on a frozen breakfast sandwich. This coffee place is great! It has great coffee for 1! Fun and friendly staff! And plenty of space to enjoy your delicious coffee inside and out. I ordered the Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean Frozen and omg! How can you not order this?! The ladies behind the counter were so funny and complimented my purse. They made it a fun personal experience for me. They have two areas to sit outside and one area is on the side of the shop and the other is on the front. There are a few seats on the porch and a couple of tables in the courtyard space in the front of the shop. The shop is basically a shot gun house converted into a coffee shop. There is on street parking and you can purchase sandwiches too. There is a muffuletta on the menu! Not many coffee shops with that. Specifically, Nuccio's Muffuletta. My friend told me about CR Coffee and I was in the area, so I had to try it! I'm glad I did. The vanilla sweet cream cold brew is super addictive. They have lots of cute merchandise in the store also. I signed up for the rewards program (a must anywhere they offer rewards), so I will definitely be back. Was looking for an impromptu place to study uptown close to Petcetera Nola to soak up some time. Loved that they had an indoor outdoor seating option. It's converted New Orleans style home with huge windows that provided me the ability to step outside for a break while keeping an eye on my belongings through the windows. I was also able to catch a nice breeze in the shade of the front porch. Inside was super quiet, and everyone was mindful and considerate about the shared space. Not sure the name of the barista, but she was very nice and patient when waiting to take my order. I didn't feel rushed and she even gave suggestions. CR aka Coast Roast is lovely neighborhood coffee shop. It has great outdoor seating and judging by the folks who are always working there, strong wifi! And most important to me, they do a great iced tea. DELICIOUS! I do not understand how so many shops mess up a simple iced tea. Oh and the snacks? Also yummy with a variety of seasonal options, including king cake pickup when in season. Saturday, I had a perfect croissant that and my iced tea kept me going to finish all my errands. The only place in New Orleans that I know makes a ginger latte . It is everything when you need it. They also have a limited latte called the Earl which has a lemon flavor that is actually quite good. The baristas are always pleasant. Is The space to order is small but they keep it going well. Indoor seating is now upon us! With the pandemic and ongoing changes, CR Coffee Shop was only allowing outdoor seating and to-go beverages for quite some time. As of November 2021 (with my visit), their indoor seating is now accessible and I love it. I really appreciate the concept of this coffee shop respecting the bones of the home and building a shop within if that makes sense. To sit down and work on my laptop in what would've been a living room is just so cool The hardwood floors, high ceilings, and aroma of coffee is perfection. It's pretty easy to spot on Magazine since many folks enjoy the front deck whilst sipping on their brews. I only drink iced coffees (shocking, I know) and their cold brew is one of my fave. Excited to officially add a new location for meetings and work. If weather permits and you don't need an outlet, I recommend you sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. read more

I wanted to sit down and relax after eating at Mahoney's Po Boys and stumbled upon CR Coffee Shop, which was right up the street. This is a super nice coffee spot to grab your drink to go or sit down and relax. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and I have to admit, I stayed here for a few hours. The weather was beautiful, so it was the perfect spot to enjoy my tea and read my book, "No Exit" by Taylor Adams, while people-watching. What more can a girl ask for? read more

Excellent. Excellent service, excellent coffee, excellent dessert, excellent location. I was in the area and had a few minutes to kill between appointments so I pulled up to CR and thought I'd give them a try. I was greeted warmly by the barista, who made me a delicious vanilla iced latte. I also picked up a locally made, fresh as it gets moon pie for my daughter. I sat on the porch to take a load off and unwind for a sec. What a welcome break. Thanks to their great location on Magazine St. and to the beautiful weather of the day, I was able to people and puppy watch for a bit. Idk if that staff is employed by the same people of this coffee shop, but if so, the girl working today is the best and helpful when I wasn't sure what to order. I ended up going with the avocado toast and a vanilla/lavender latte. I also really love that the avo toast is vegan friendly! Seriously...with minimal veg options in an airport, I appreciate y'all! I really liked the atmosphere of this place. The natural light coming through the windows was very pleasant. I also liked how much seating there was inside the house, the side area, and the bar on the porch. The person helping us was very nice. It seems like a good place to do work because there were plenty of outlets inside by the red wall. Will be coming here again. On a walk today to exercise and run an errand and I got so hot I needed frozen coffee, stat. Luckily I passed by this place and noticed I could order online and pick up on a shelf inside. Perfect for me, as I hadn't brought my mask on my walk. In less than 5 minutes, I had the most delicious frozen coffee and felt totally rejuvenated. There's a ton of covered outdoor seating, perfect for Magazine Street people watching, and it's super charming. They also sell bags of coffee beans. Definitely pop in and try this place! read more

Coast Roast is my favorite coffee in the city. I frequent the St. Roch location often. The Auction House Market location is decent. When I heard they opened a new location Uptown, I was thrilled. They are located in a beautiful old shotgun double. They occupy the right side. There is a nice porch in the front with bar stools and you can sit and enjoy the ambiance. It was fun to catch some of the Saints game on the old black and white tv inside. My go to drink is the iced latte. The barista prepared it very well. They have a variety of drinks choose to choose from , as well as a small assortment of pastries and sandwiches. I'm sure I will be back soon! P.S. Another perk of Coast Roast is they offer a frequent buyer card. Awesome! Be sure to get one. read more

Beautiful coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. You can read and drink your coffee while sitting in one of the leather chairs, do your homework at one of the tables (access to outlets), or sit outside and watch the people on Magazine Street.
