The calm, soothing atmosphere was most welcome, and I immediately felt at home. I ordered a simple latte, and when I declined any sort of flavoring or sweetener, the barista chose a nice light Ethiopian roast on the assumption that I wanted to savor the coffee bean flavors. He was right, and this was one of the best coffees I've had on this side of the Atlantic.

The seating is definitively Wayfair - so not very comfortable. I am hoping they can incorporate a cozy couch somewhere in the space: I found there wasn't a great spot to feel truly settled in. The baked goods looked great, and they offered at least one gluten-free option. I had a ham and cheese croissant and was surprised that it was very crispy and both the ham and cheese were also good quality. Cherry Roasters definitely cares about their craft and it shows!

The waitress checked on us a couple of times. I made no comment whether it was good or bad, because I was going to eat it anyway. As a general rule I don't send things back, and in this instance given the time it took to get it, I was starved and certainly wasn't sending it back. Leftovers box and checkout was super quick.
