EPIC FAIL! Second time, most likely, last time. I just left this restaurant after waiting for 40 minutes to receive NOTHING. That's right folks nothing...my friend and I entered the dining room at 6:10. We ordered 1 app and 1 entree, both of which were fried, at 6:18. At this moment, our waitress informed us she'd bring us both waters. They arrived 8 minutes later. {8 minutes for 2 glasses of House Tap.} Guess what though, a table seated 5 minutes after my table, who's order was taken AFTER my table, received there food first. But wait there's more. i was informed 10 minutes prior that our food, would be right out. Well ladies and gentlemen, this is where the saga of disappointing service ended, we left 10 minutes later. Honestly, the seafood here is good. You can see for yourself. The costs range from Average to High, depending on how much and how it's cooked. They have everything from fried platters and sandwiches to boils and family style feasts. The prices for alcohol beverages is Standard to Good. They also have daily Drink Specials. The presentation; simple yet attractive. The customer service, attention to detail and lack there of, leave a lot to be desired. Also, this is a casual dining restaurant with a wraparound porch for outdoor eating, weather permitting. It has freestanding tables, limited booths and bar seating. Multiple TV's with a myriad of ongoing sports, displayed throughout. I can't say that I'll be back, however I've given you enough information to make your own decisions.

Super surprised but impressed with this restaurant. Everything I had was good and fresh! The chicken and fish were seasoned and fried just like I like and didn't have to ask. Service was great, bathrooms and restaurant was clean. Be prepared for a nice amount of seafood in your boil! I go full so fast lol loved the signature sauce extra hot

Lorrrrd I'm sad I'm just trying this spot! Granted, I'm never out this way but if I ever am nearby??? Best believe I'm popping in here for SOMETHING! Wings. Fried shrimp. Catfish. Hush puppies. Croaker (seasonal). Fries. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. And even better, the prices weren't gouged extremely high. Everything was affordable and the portions were hefty. Our waitress, Keyana, was an absolute gem of a human. Fun personality, patient with us while we decided on which fish exactly to order, made sure everything was just right. No complaints here. Just sad I can't get more of this anytime soon now that I'm back on the west coast!

I finally decided to give The Crab Boat a try since the parking lot is always packed whenever I pass by on my way home. From the outside, it looks much larger than it actually is--inside, the space felt pretty cramped. The atmosphere was also very loud; it felt like we had to raise our voices just to hear each other across the table. Service was a bit slow, with the waiter only coming by about every 20 minutes, so we waited a while for drink refills. In terms of food quality, I'd say Crafty Crab is a bit better, but the food here was still enjoyable. We ordered Combo #4, which came with two clusters of snow crab, one pound of shrimp, half a pound of clams, half a pound of smoked sausage, plus two corn cobs and two potatoes. We also tried the hush puppies and calamari as appetizers--both were quite good. The biggest downside was how tough the crab legs were to crack, especially since no tools were provided to help with that, which would've been appreciated. Despite some drawbacks, I'd still recommend giving The Crab Boat a try!

In town for work. I'm originally from Baltimore. But now I live in Atlanta. Not a B more crabcake, but definitely a good crabcake. I'm definitely happy I decide to come to try this out. The crabcake was very good and favorable.. Cajun fries were on point. And the shrimp dumplings not too bad. My server was very nice and friendly checked on me often to make sure I was doing good. Atmosphere cool laid-back vibe reminds me of Windsor Inn. Next time I'm in this area I will definitely check them out again.

We took my grandmother here for her 68th birthday. First let me say the restaurant was very nice. They also have a deck outside where you can eat. Our waiter G was phenomenal! He checked on us consistently and had no problem with making sure everything we got was what we wanted. Now the food. We all ordered seafood boils. Now I've been to almost every seafood boil place and let me say this spot is hands down the best. The seafood was fresh, eggs were fresh, I also added broccoli which was fresh! The bags had so much sauce. Most places give you more of the spices than the butter but crab boat executed both. My aunt and cousin who are autistic and eats selectively ordered the fried fish meal with a side of broccoli and potatoes in their crab boat special sauce. I also had the hush puppies which came with honey. I would definitely recommend this spot for couples and family.

The Big Spoon always has a new place for us to watch football, we are football junkies, sigh! The Crab Boat Restaurant is located in the boondocks for sure but what a hidden gem! Service was Great! From the two front desk girls to the amazing bartender, we had a wonderful time! The bartender was a football fan so that always makes for great conversation. Ambiance is causal, you are fine to come in regular smegular, sweats, jeans, leave your dresses hung up. Let's get Into It! Drinks- Delicious! Perfect Pours! Appetizer: Steamed Oysters - Exceeded my expectations! That secret sauce was excellent! YUMMERS! Crab Balls: Yummy - Met expectations could have added a little more crab and not so much filing but GOOD! (I'm just a greedy crab lover.) Shrimp Basket - Yes. Juicy and Big Shrimp! Crab Legs - Very Good! Overall, I'm sold, I'd come back! It's close to the boondock house and not too far of a drive. Enough good food and fun to say, "can't wait to come back". Nessa Approved!

I'm not sure what the name of this restaurant was when I visited years ago, but the concept has changed. Before, it was a traditional seafood restaurant, now it's an uber popular seafood bowl restaurant that's becoming the McDonald's of seafood joints.. One on every corner..LOL! Looking for a place to watch the Commanders whip up on the Eagles this past Sunday, we chose Crab Boat because they have a plethora of TV's in the bar area. We ordered a little bit of everything.. Crab bites, steamed oysters, jumbo fried shrimp and crab legs. Everything was very good but I don't mind getting messy at seafood bowl restaurants and neither does she..LOL. Our bartender/server was super cool, super friendly with a great personality and she made our drinks to perfection (strong and tasty)! Crab Boat is off the beaten path, in a random area off of Berry Road. It's pretty large but definitely no frills. PLEASE keep it casual or you'll look very much out of place! I'm glad I rediscovered Crab Boat because everything was very good and it's close enough to the new crib to visit more that once every 10yrs..LOL!!

Okay Fiesta Cancun, I see you!…read more Fiesta Cancun in Waldorf is truly one of those hidden gems that just does not miss. We've been here multiple times now, and they hit the mark every single time. Family dinner? Yes. Date night? Absolutely. Girls' night? Even better. The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and just an all-around good time. And if you want a FUN night, go on a Thursday! Starting around 7 PM, they have Ladies Night with karaoke and a DJ playing a mix of Latin, R&B, and hip-hop. The energy is always so good. Now, the food! I'm originally from Texas, so when it comes to fresh, homemade tortillas, I know what I'm talking about and Fiesta Cancun gets it RIGHT. Their tortillas are fresh, warm, and honestly one of my favorite things about eating here. On our latest visit, my husband ordered three tacos: shrimp, steak, and chicken. All three were packed with flavor. I had the chicken and steak fajitas, which came out sizzling with all the fixings, fresh guacamole, and those homemade tortillas I just told y'all about. The portions are generous, everything comes out hot and fresh, and the presentation is always on point. Even my daughter was happy! She ordered the chicken tenders and fries from the kids' menu, and they were perfectly crispy. Everybody at the table won. Great food, great prices, attentive service, and a fun atmosphere. I genuinely don't have anything bad to say about Fiesta Cancun. If you're in the Waldorf area and haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?! 10/10, we'll absolutely be back.

Love the food here…read more Hate the DJ. I'm a first time mom who is the primary caregiver and full time work from home employee. I don't GET to come out often anymore. But when I do, we go to places with nothing but respect for the places we go, knowing we have a really well behaved baby makes it easier to go places. We came here because we used to love the service, food and atmosphere. Even with a small baby, we'd already been here twice. No issues. Came again with my 2.5 month old baby on a Friday after a really long week in the house. We left the restaurant early enough that by the time we left it was still daylight. Arrived around 5:30-6pm. Ordered our food and as it arrived a DJ came in. As we were almost done (about 39 min later) a DJ came in and started blasting club music. I knew we would've be able to stay much longer because the chatter mixed with the DJ would be too much anyways so I requested the check while we prepared to leave. Because it started getting SO loud I asked the host to see if the DJ could turn down the music while we got the check, asking for only 3-5 minutes specifically so my husband could pack up the baby and we could leave, and get out of their hair. The DJ turned up the music so loud we had to remove my daughter from the establishment before the check was paid. The host came back over to me and like in a club had to get really close to my face to apologize for the DJ Turing the music up even louder. He said " I am SOO SORRY! I have no idea what the DJ is doing or why they turned up the music, I asked to have it turned down and they turned it up." (Had ordered a second glass of wine since my husband was driving, and was the only two glasses I'd had since pregnancy). Didn't even get to finish my second glass. Needless to say I bought her earmuffs that night. It was the single most inconsiderate moment we've had since she was born. While I know that babies can be inconvenient for folks, our baby wasn't making a peep and was actually quite happy, and never got fussy, but we thought we were going to a sit down restaurant that was family friendly with her. We rushed out as soon as we realized it wasn't, but literally couldn't even get out of there fast enough!! I asked for a few minutes and got a proverbial slap in the face. This is how our communities fail women and mothers. We can't just hide in our houses until the baby is grown up. We deserve to be in places, and enjoy life too. Turning music up that loud is totally fine. I genuinely don't care, I can handle leaving the restaurant and being respectful to those who want to party on a Friday. But let get 5 min so I can pack up and pay. Management failed that night because we used to love coming here and unfortunately the amount of disrespect in that one gesture was enough for me to never go back. Having a DJ at happy hour is fine. Just know THAT DJ lost you a customer.

I was unable to enjoy or finish my 90-minute meal because I did not like the sauce that was served, yet there seemed to be little willingness to accommodate or adjust the dish to my preferences. As a paying customer, I believe there should be more flexibility when a guest is dissatisfied with part of their meal. While the service was pleasant, the strict policies and unwillingness to make reasonable adjustments left me with a disappointing experience. I am not one to say this but I do not recommend this place at ALL. In response to owner: Thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate that you chose not to charge me a waste fee. However, I would like to clarify that this was only my second sauce selection change. My goal was simply to order something without sauce so I could enjoy the remainder of my 90-minute dining experience. Unfortunately, the meal did not meet my expectations and, in my opinion, was not worth the price. As a customer, I believe there should be more flexibility when someone is dissatisfied with an item, especially when reasonable alternatives are available. There are several other restaurants that offer similar dining experiences at a lower price point and without what I feel is an excessive gratuity charge. While I appreciate your response, the overall experience left me disappointed and unlikely to return.
