No idea what took me so long to finally try this place, but I'm really glad I did. We stopped in around 6 p.m. Friday, and the restaurant was mostly open with only a few tables occupied. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all of our questions about the AYCE option. The manager (or maybe the owner) also made a point of stopping by each table to check on everyone's meal and overall experience. Since it wasn't packed, it was nice to see that level of attention given to every guest. For about $40, the AYCE includes shrimp, clams, mussels, and crawfish, plus sides like potatoes, corn, sausage, rice, garlic noodles, and fries. They even offer chicken tenders if seafood isn't your thing. Considering how much work goes into making a seafood boil at home, this was an easy, delicious option that I'll gladly come back to whenever the craving hits. I ordered the signature sauce at the spicy level, while my fiancé went with the medium. The spicy version was perfect for me. I thought the medium leaned a little too sweet, but the extra heat balanced that sweetness much better. The restaurant has a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. The wooden pillars, exposed brick, and signatures/drawings left behind by previous diners give it a casual, lived-in feel that reminded me of a neighborhood dive bar. The family decided to finally try this seafood boil restaurant. We got the family style boil bag with shrimp, crawfish, snow crab legs, potatoes, corn and sausage in a garlic sauce. It smelled sooo good when we emptied the bag into the big bowl! The food was really good, great flavor and even better with the sauce poured over the steamed white rice. We also ordered the fried prawns and fries. All the seafood was very fresh tasting. The service was prompt and fast and our waitress and staff were very friendly. AYCE seafood boil LFG!!!!!!! My partner and I have been on the hunt for good Cajun food lately and finally came across Crab Boil Things. This is a great deal if you have an appetite for seafood. We walked in on a Sunday and were seated after around 15 mins wait. Packed full...! Super casual, homey environment with great service. A tad grimey though, sticky tables lol. My boyfriend and I had never been to an AYCE Seafood Boil before, but this is definitely the place to be! Tucked in at the end of a strip mall, you enter from the side to a dining room with multiple tables. Tables are wide and we came in around 5:30PM on a Saturday night, beating the dinner rush. Jessica was our waitress and she was the best! Although the restaurant started to get busy, she was very attentive and checked in with every table. She was honest, informative, friendly, and helpful. She explained the rules behind the AYCE option, reviewed our choices, and informed us we could also get half orders so we wouldn't have so much food. We ordered the AYCE with the crab legs upgrade, so about $80 a person. A tad pricey. I ordered clams, shrimp head off, sausage, corn, potatoes, snow crab legs, and a strawberry lemonade (unlimited refills). I also got the garlic butter and medium spice, which was fantastic. The combination flavors with medium spice was also really good! We got a TON of shrimp and clams, which makes sense, as they were trying to fill us up on the cheaper seafood. For our second order, we ordered less food and bumped up to spicy level. Mistake! It was very spicy and our server informed us that it was because they add habanero for that level. (Two habaneros for volcano level). However Jessica was so great she offered a solution of bringing us the broth so we could water down the spice and it worked! All the seafood was cooked, the snow crab legs were easy to eat, and HUGE PORTIONS. We definitely got our moneys worth. Presentation was excellent, they gave us all the lemon, salt and pepper, gloves, bibs, plates, utensils, we needed. They brought our bowls and our bags in a big bubble to keep the food presentable. There is a 18% gratuity, so fair warning. But the star of the show was literally Jessica. I cannot express how much of a help she was. She was so honest and informative. Give her a raise! Gave this place another try after having a bad experience and they have really redeemed themselves! Jessica had amazing customer service, Diana could use some help, but they kept the food coming. The seafood is fresh and the noodles are delicious. I do wish there was a little less garlic in the garlic butter sauce but everything was tasty. You can't beat $5 shots and $3 beers. We ordered the Ultimate Crab Combo (Full Snow Crab) with garlic butter, shrimp, and clams. While the snow crabs were large, several legs were hollow, and some of the shrimp were overcooked. There was barely any garlic butter--just a yellow residue--and it tasted like garlic powder, not real garlic. 1st time. My son and I had the all you can eat meal. I had the shrimp, clams, and crawfish. Signature sauce and mild spice. And garlic noodles side. Garlic noodles were a little dry. Clams and shrimp and crawfish were good. Since it was all you can eat I ordered another helping the second helping definitely wasn't as good as a first for some reason it didn't seem as fresh. Crawfish had a weird texture and I could only get through if a few of them and the mussels were nothing special. The clams are good. My son agreed he felt the second order wasn't fresh and as good as the first. Overall good environment and a decent deal, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

I was so excited to have some seafood . My friend and I found this place and gave it a try . At the end of night . We asked for our check to be spilt my friend pay for her stuff and I pay for mine. After I pause for my half I realized the math wasn't right ! They over charged me 20+ dollars . When asked for my receipt to show what I paid I realized she put my friends items on my receipt. They proceeded to ask if my friend could Zelle me or Cash App me the difference . Excuse me ?! It's not her job to fix this !!! then told me they couldn't give the difference . It took the manager of the restaurant to come and tell her to give me the difference . Which she lied about. Cause she said they don't do that . WILL NEVER COME BACK!! Ps . Crab Boil Things - Never Again This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. My boyfriend and I went in excited to try something new we love seafood but Crab Boil Things was a total disappointment. We ordered the fish-crab combo. It was cheap, but now I know why. The entire boil was watery, flavorless, and had no butter. The shrimp, crawfish, and crab all tasted frozen not fresh like they claim. And if it really was fresh, then it was poorly handled, because my crawfish was dirty. That's just not okay. We barely touched our food, except for the garlic noodles, which were the only thing we could tolerate. Two full bowls went untouched. Not worth the money or time. First time visiting and this place is a solid 4 in my book. The location is in an older shopping center. Where we parked I guess was in the back and had to head down breezeway to find the door. We had booked for a large party of about 12 people. I quickly realized our party was the smaller parties they were serving. They had the typical wax paper lined table set up. The place was rustic and just felt like a place you could relax in. I'm not a big fan of the seafood boils but my party was. They seemed to enjoy it. The garlic noodles were a hit. A must have. The food was tasty, good sized portion on the sandwich. Where is slightly dropped for me was the service, it's not the servers fault they had large parties but certainly seen a lot more attention at the smaller two top versus the larger tables. My party for examples didn't get drinks until after the meals were served but the party across where get shots like rapid fire. Again no biggie because for the food and ambiance made up for it. I think the gal running the host desk may have been the manager and she was helpful to grab things we needed (like crab crackers). If you don't eat seafood like my kids they liked the wings, chicken strips and the Cajun fries. I look forward to trying them again in the future without the large group. read more

This place had bad service and the food wasn't good. The all you can eat seafood has went up by 20 dollars . The quality of the food was not good. I ordered all you can eat seafood and had to pay an extra 40 for the all you can eat crab add on . The waiter had so many rules about ordering the all you can eat meal it took her about 15-20 minutes to go over all the rules. Rule 1: If 1 person orders all you can eat seafood boil with the extra 40 dollar add on all you can crab boil. Everyone at your table has to order the same thing and if they don't order the same thing they have to seat at a different table , and if you do all order the same thing you can't share with your party . Rule 2 : you must eat everything off your plate before you can get second of any other items. Rule 3: you only have 2 hours to eat then you have to go. Mind you the waiter only came to our table once only to give us the first round and then 15 minutes before are time was up she came back. Almost to try make sure we wouldn't get a second round of food. The was so bad I didn't even finish the first round of food nor did I want seconds . The crawfish was still cold when I eat it. Rule 4 : It was a mandatory 20% tip included when you pay. Even if they only come to your table once and have horrible service skills. It was a party of four and we spent almost $400.00 It definitely was NOT worth it. I rate the food 1/10 I rate the service 2/10 I do not recommend. read more

I give this place a solid four. The four mainly comes from the portion size of the all you can eat, as well as the taste of the actual seafood. I took away one star for the random service and they added 15% gratuity which I don't think is fair when your service is not quite up to par. However, my friends and I came here today to have the all you can eat and add it on the snow and Dungeness crab Option for 20 extra dollars. We were able to pick what we wanted inside of our bag, our flavor and spice level. Also, you can pick some side dishes like rice, chicken tenders, garlic noodles. I think the next time I go, I won't get the extras or the sausage and potatoes because those are quite filling and being a crab lover. I will focus mainly on getting just the seafood. I got full on my first bucket because of the extras, I think. The flavoring of the combo seasoning was really good And I first got the spicy and moved over to the volcano. If you like spicy, I definitely would put the volcano over spicy. The service itself was kind of random and our server forgot a few things at times like our drinks. I am also not a fan of plastic and paperware when you're spending that much money at a restaurant. I get that it's easier for clean up but honestly as a patron I would rather have had a regular fork and a regular bucket or at least a bowl to put my Crab shells. All in all I think I will be back.
