I know it's customary for restaurants to levy a mandatory charge for big groups but they usually make us aware of it. The hostess or wait staff did not make us aware of this mandatory charge. 12 minutes passed after being seated and no one had approached us to take our order or give us water. We had to flag down a passing waitress to let her know we were ready to order. Apparently, tables are not assigned a dedicated waiter/waitress. From what I could see there was only 4 available wait staff for the whole restaurant; not enough for a busy Saturday night. Whenever we needed anything we had to flag down a passing waiter/waitress. They were doing their best, but they were clearly overwhelmed. We ordered some pancit and the Sulit Bilao # 3 which is a huge platter costing over $129; to our surprise it didn't come with any bagoong. We had to flag down the waitress again and ask for some and we were shocked when she said she could only give us 1; any more would have to be charged. I said that's fine but didn't realize each container was tiny; and each extra one cost $2! (see picture). For ordering a platter this size, I think that's very stingy. The food was ok.
