This is a place that I recently heard of and I wanted seafood so we tried this place. It's small but new and clean. The prices aren't bad either. We got a seafood boil combo to share that had 1 Lb snow crab, 1LB black mussels and 1LB shrimp. I paid $3 extra for head off. Only for the conscience of peeling them because they are deveined. The head on shrimp actually add a lot of flavor. We got the Old bay garlic butter. I also ordered an order of garlic bread for dipping. This place is located in a strip mall and my lady was super skeptical, but it was really good! I would have preferred more crab because it was about 3 clusters. That's 1.5 Crabs. Overall it was so good and I was super full when we left. I was so full that we left 1/4 shrimp and mussels . I will go back clean and I will get extra crab next time. My family has ordered from this restaurant many times - usually through DoorDash. We really love their food - so much that I decided I wanted seafood for dinner on Mother's Day and realized the prices are a much higher on DoorDash, so I called my order in. Among other things, I ordered a 1/2lb. of sausage and {3} corn. My daughter noticed a piece of shrimp tail in the bag with the sausage and corn. I'm highly allergic, so the sausage and corn went uneaten. By the time it was noticed, the restaurant was closed and was closed all day Monday. I just called and spoke with a woman who said she "doesn't think the manager can do anything because there were a lot of orders on Mother's Day". I told her I have the time of my order, as well as pics, and she took my number but couldn't guarantee a call back from the owner. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially when I've had good food and/or service before, but this is unacceptable. I wasted money on food I couldn't eat because, if I had, I'd have ended up in the hospital. Whoever packed the order should've been pre careful. The person I spoke to should've been apologetic and offered to refund my money, at the very least. Very disappointing. read more

I frequent this restaurant. I've never had a complaint with customer service. I don't think they go above and beyond what their customer service but it's fine. The food is usually pretty good but I don't think the flavor is consistent. It doesn't always taste the same but one thing I really do like that it's BYOB and it's right next-door to liquor store so while you're waiting for your food to come out you can run next-door and grab a bottle of wine or tequila. I live in Delaware and was visiting my girlfriend who wanted me try this place out. This was my first time eating at a seafood boil/cajun spot and I was very excited! We ordered Combo B with 1/2 lbs. of crab legs and head-on shrimp at fire level, and shrimp po boy sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were not the best but everything else was great especially the crabs! We were having a fantastic night until the check came. Our waitress came with the bill which came out to about $52 and told us "no rush". My girlfriend frequents this spot with her sister every now and then, and her sister asked her to bring back food. She ordered a different combo for her which costs $24.99, paid, then excused herself to use the restroom. Our waitress came back after 5 minutes and asked "which card will you be using" after she just said "no rush". I gave her my card then got a notification that $58 was charged from them. I immediately went to the front counter and told them that they overcharged me. The lady at the front said that "your girlfriend only paid $25, why would she do that, ask her why". I responded "she paid the price you told her"! Then for them to add the balance to our dine-in bill and not say anything is complete fraud! I am extremely disappointed and feel so used by this business. What they did was very wrong and I hope that they never do this to any customer again, let alone a first-timer! We ordered the clam chowder, cajun fries, hush puppies, and crawfish & shrimp in the perfect crab special sauce. The clam chowder was one of my favorites honestly! Service was very good too. It seems like a husband and wife duo and they are very kind and attentive. When we were there, we saw a lot of take out orders as well. My first time impressions were less than the flavor this place punched. I'll start from the dessert. I can tell a lot about a restaurant just by ordering dessert. The tiramisu was fresh with a slightly chilled light creamy texture. The taste of espresso and mascarpone was so delicious in contrast to the lean fresh flavor. The BBQ wings tasted like Jamaican jerk but it was all good, I figured it was a cultural flavor. But the magic was in the crab boil. I've been to a lot of places but this was right in the sweet spot. The snow crab legs were fresh and the spices were not overbearing. The total bag was balanced and worthy of 2 meals maybe three if you are a light eater. Get to this hidden gem. I live in North carolina and I visit new jersey every other month and every time I come here I always make sure to stop by this place. I love the crab fries they serve here with the sauce they put on top of it, I've never had anything like it at any other crab place and other restaurants never have it on the menu. This place is so unassuming. It is very basic in appearance, but the food and service were great. We enjoyed an appetizer of fried calamari. The dipping sauce was not your typical marinara sauce, it was a chili and garlic sauce. A nice alternative to the norm. The crabs and shrimp were not over cooked and the seasoning was tasty. The manager of this place is highly unprofessional. They mixed up my fiancés order and put the wrong sauce due to which the owner stated was due to the "negligence of our new waitress" and instead of offering a refund of our 80$ order of king crabs, mussels and clams or starting fresh, she rinsed the sauce off with water and added the correct sauce over top which left us with a salty, inedible order which is nonetheless, extremely unhygienic ( and just gross). When confronted about rinsing off the food with water she said she would text my fiancé to discuss more. It is then that she stated it was her waitresses fault and offered to give a "combo B on the house" next time which is not even half the cost of what we paid instead of redoing the order entirely. After declining and asking for a refund the owner stated "We're really sorry, we can't refund the full amount. You know king crab is very expensive. How about I give you half a gift card instead?" So not only did they admit to their employee being at fault, they also refuse to amend their mistakes by offering a full refund. Extremely disappointed about how they run their business and treat loyal customers. Very wrong to hold customers accountable for the mistakes of your employees. read more

Walking in it's a nice calm environment. The staff is super friendly and the service was quick and attentive. We ordered the combos and strongly recommended the Cajun. Just went here today. It has to be the worst food I've ever eaten. We got shrimp po boys, gumbo, clam chowder and a side of calamari. Sandwiches and calamari are fried with an abundance of breading. The gumbo and clam chowder were mostly liquid with very little substance. The sauce for the calamari tasted like the sweet sauce given at a Chinese restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else!
