Unbelievable experience and not in a good way. We thought we'd give this a try on a Sunday afternoon. Mistake!! Do not waste your money in this place, it's extremely pricy and they don't even pretend to serve you what you ordered. About 40 minutes after we ordered 2 lobster tails with lemon pepper sauce, our server hands us each a plastic bag with small curled up lobster tail in the bottom that had apparently been boiled in an extra spicy red Cajun sauce. I don't even want to go into the trouble we had getting the side items that came with the meal that they tried to charge us extra for. I've never experience anything so bad in my life. The fact that this place has 4.5 stars is insane. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because the service was good, the food on the hand was terrible. We ordered a dozen raw oysters to start with which were fresh and would have been good but they spilt some sort of malt vinegar all over most of them. Who the hell puts vinegar on raw oysters? When our crab combo #3 arrived everything in that bag was overcooked. It tasted like they took precooked seafood and microwaved it in a bag with random seasonings. We obviously won't be back and hope to save some else from a terrible meal. read more

It has never been really too busy the times we get there, but we have always had a good selection of seafood and bottled beer (nice selection). Very good sauce!! Enjoyed the fever sauce which is all 3 sauces put together. Place was large and staff friendly and attentive. I've had sauce like this from other places and usually called shabang sauce so if your looking for shabang this is it! I came by tonight for the first time. I ordered the #2 combo Cajun. It was a messy plate of goodness. Now I see why they bring a bib and gloves to the table. The service was good from the server lady. Live music was playing, and the mixed drinks were good too. Both my plastic gloves had ripped, I had a pile of napkins on the table, and I decided to go to the bathroom and wash up. Well, unfortunately the bus boy saw my table empty and started cleaning up. This sucks big time, because I was not finished eating my seafood or drinking my drinks either. I had planned on ordering more food and drinks as well, but my ship had sunk, and I left. We've eaten here twice - once takeout and tonight in the restaurant. We've had the lobster roll - I'd recommend it, the kIds fish and chips - might be on the regular menu - it's $10 and is very tasty - light but crispy small fillets, and we've had one of their combo boils - which was not worth the money. The crab - king and snow were soggy :( The corn had to have been sitting in water for hours - it was inedible. The shrimp were also lackluster - not grossly overcooked - but with no snap at all. The baby clams were ok - and the muscles were huge and for me the tastiest part of the dish. If you are a seafood lover - this place will help your fix but I suggest keeping to their smaller items - like the lobster roll and fish and chips. Our server was good and our son enjoyed the unique decorations and "crab chairs." read more

We went last night for my moms dinner. Request Becky she is really wonderful and very attentive. I got the #2 it came with snow crab, a generous portion of shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. We usually go to Joe's in Nashville, but now we all agree that this is our new favorite! I chose garlic and mild flavoring- we got our bag and everything had marinated in garlic and butter! Sooo yummy! If you think you need butter-I promise you don't! It's all in the bag! Also, I like that they provide you with gloves and you can place your crab shells on the table top because they are covered with a liner. I've had many low country boils in my day and this one is by far the worse I've ever had. Not sure what they boiled it in but it wasn't butter. It resembled wd40. The crab was tasteless and the potatos were not done and the corn was store bought frozen field corn. The whole experience was awful and ruined a birthday night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For the $70 we spent without drinks we got ripped off. If I could give it a minus ten I would. read more
