We had an amazing experience at Crab N Spice . The food was delicious , the spice was perfect . My husband I ordered the all you can eat special and we are leaving stuffed ! Our waitress OFELIA was the sweetest ! She greeted us immediately. She was really kind/engaging to our four year old . She checked in our table a few times to make sure we were good . She made sure our food was hot and served with just right (I even seen her double check the seafood bag making sure it was right ). We need more Ofelia's in this world lol . As far as the ambiance , the restaurant is decorated really cute . The music was a vibe , and it was very clean . The rest of the crew , including the greeter at the door were also very nice . My friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday and our server Isaac was very helpful in accommodating our large group. He was attentive and made our experience at this location an extremely pleasant one. The food was flavorful and the "all you can eat" option is a good value for all you get. The a la carte menu choices are delicious too if "all you can eat" is not your preference. The popcorn chicken was surprisingly good considering this is a seafood spot. Originally came due to a social media advertising $40 all you can eat, but when my plus 1 and came in the waitress immediately told us the dine in closed which struck me as odd as their posted closing is at 10pm. I find it unfortunate that dine in closes at 9pm everyday and to go is only up until 10pm. Following up with the originally social media posting that caught my attention... the waitress also informed us that the posting is incorrect and it's $40 per person not by party. The food seems great but unfortunately until next time. Establishments like this should have clear displays of operation hours as it's just an inconvenience for people who enjoy late night eating. My wife and I just tried Crab N Spice - Cudahy for the first time. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. Given that's our first time they explained the ordering process, and we opted to try the Captain's Choice. It's 1/2lb of shrimp, lobster tail, snow crab, corn, potatoes and sausages. We choose the Crab N spice with the Spicy level. Seasoning was great not too salty but I could have used a little more spice. All in all I highly recommend you to try. I'm a local and I was really excited to try this place. I went on there second day of opening. I honestly did not enjoy it and would not go back. Reasons: - soda machine not working -service was not good. Server did not check in and did not provide good customer service. -the salt and pepper ratio was horrible there was no spice ratio in the cup -the sink to wash your hands the water was boiling hot!!! I couldn't even finish washing my hands. I honestly think boiling crab is better than this dupe. Provide better customer service, the woman there suck! read more

Honestly this place is horrible it's a disgrace they label themselves a seafood boil place. This place is just budget friendly that's about it. If you're looking for quality you might as well spend a few extra bucks and go to boiling crab or kickin crab. Their sauce is horribly seasoned and tastes like nothing. I got diarrhea from how much butter they use. Again take your business to the other spots I mentioned your pallet will definitely thank you. She gonna tell me that they don't sell sauce on the side. I bought my entrée, but I can't buy sauce on the side. Service definitely needs improvement, the food could've been better, especially the corn, it had no flavor besides of the sauce.

I went the second day they opened for the 20 percent off and I wanted to take advantage of the all you can eat menu without paying full price to try out the food. When I got my food it looked great you could see the pieces of garlic and seasoning at the top. The first couple of shrimps were good but then it was just something I can describe as oil with no flavor. I feel like they didn't put enough seasoning for their sauce to be thick throughout. For example the corn had no seasoning on it, I dipped it into the sauce and nothing but oil came up which wouldn't be bad if it had flavor but it's just tasted like plain corn. That hasn't happened to me with stinkin crawfish in Downey so I was disappointed and we only got 1 round and ended up throwing the rest away in the trash can outside. It wasn't gross it just didn't have any flavor and for the price I thought it wasn't worth it. The fries were good though ! Only the pieces with actual garlic pieces on top tasted good which were very few. I threw out everything from the pic The employees were nice though and greeted you when you walked in. If it wasn't for the actual taste of their seafood it would honestly be a one star (since that's the lowest rating possible.) Today I went to this spot with my family and the server was extremely rude. As it is, we had waited about 45 minutes to receive part of our food and when we asked about the rest of the food, the server rudely said " the kitchen is working. I can't do nothing about it." and then proceeds not to check on our table. I felt that partially he knew that no matter what he was going to get a tip because we were six or more. Once he brought out our wings, we were already all done with the seafood, boil, leaving two of my family members without food the whole entire time. We ordered everything at once btw. Then he doesn't even bring out our fries that we had ordered but the table behind us who got there AFTER US gets fries lol. On top of all of that, he brings out a French bread that should take about five minutes to come out and it was extremely cold. If it couldn't get worse, the restrooms were an absolute mess with sauce all over the sink, toilet paper all over the floor and really stinky. I should have taken pictures but it was just so disgusting if I stayed longer I seriously would have thrown up. BUYER BEWARE: Food was good, but service and atmosphere need huge improvements. We were a party of two dining in for the All You Can Eat special. $40/per person and you'd think it's three mains for each person since you're paying separately but no, you only get three PER TABLE, so $40 extra for nothing. The reggaeton music was so goddamn loud the poor server couldn't even do their job properly, lots of repeat questions and confusion, we were practically shouting just to convey our order. We also only got one wave of food because it was so busy, and we ended up waiting 30 minutes for the next wave and had to cancel because it was cutting into our plans for the evening. The food that we did get however was incomplete and we had to wait 15 minutes extra just for a side of rice. And no, none of these issues was the fault of the server, this was all on the kitchen crew going too fast and the environment being too busy for people to properly do their jobs. There's no reason for us to return. There are much better seafood boil spots around town that respect their customer's ears and wallets. read more
