It was only a 15 minute drive for us, huge (free) parking lot. It was a packed restaurant but no wait time. The food was delicious! The taste is very similar to Boiling Crab at a better price point. My sister and I found this spot on Yelp while searching for seafood boil places in LA. It had solid recent reviews and was just 15-20 mins from where we were staying. We definitely overestimated our appetites with the LA Bag 2 (easily enough for 3-4 people) but everything was delicious! We chose 1.5 lbs of snow crab, 1 lb of peeled shrimp, and 1 lb of green mussels. It also came with sausage, potatoes, and corn. We added 4 boiled eggs and 2 sides of rice. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! I also tried the lychee lemonade. It was a bit sweet (thanks to my pregnancy taste buds), but I just added a little water and it was great. From the food to the ambiance and customer service, this place is a 20/10 recommend! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. I ordered the LA Bag 1 for $63.66 -- a really good price. I chose the LA Style seasoning at medium spice, but next time, I'll go for mild. The medium had quite a kick, and every Cajun spot varies in spice level, so mild might be more enjoyable for most. My husband and I were genuinely impressed. The seasoning was great, the shrimp were jumbo and perfectly cooked, and the mussels were spot-on. I grew up eating seafood, and these shrimp were surprisingly good.
